    Hancock Construction LLC
Be warned. DO NOT for any reason ever use this company. Hancock and its owner Daniel Hancock were absolutely horrible. Stay away from them or you will be sorry. They did not finish any of the work and left us with an empty kitchen and bathroom. Dan repeatedly lied about when things would be done. First, he lied that he had to fire his cabinet maker Ray Carrow and that was why the kitchen cabinets were not completed. He sent a new cabinet maker (Steve Gammon) to complete the job. Both of them lied and job was still not completed. One blaming the other. This company (if you can call them that) are the absolute worst.

    Terrazzo Care Restoration Experts
I was very, very pleased with this company.   Frank, the owner, was very nice on the phone.  The company promptly arrived at my house for a quote.   Edwin was very patient in explaining the process.   I received a written quote that day.  My fla room is approximately 12 x 17.  The floor was  discolored in some areas.
Two workers arrived as promised.  They were prompt and very careful in their work.  They taped up the walls with plastic, and also took care to protect the hardwood floors that abut the terrazzo.   They arrived on a Saturday, and were there for almost 8 hours.  They returned on Monday, and finished the job.  They left the house very neat.
The quoted price was actually a bit higher than the price I paid.   The quoted price assumed  that they might have to specially treat the floor and let it sit for a week.  They couldn't tell at price quote exactly how good or bad the floor  was, as the carpet was still on the floor.  I liked that they didn't BS me, and tell me that unnecessary work was required, thereby charging me the full amount if not more.  I would never have known if the additional procedure was required or not, as I'm clueless re terrazzo restoration.   However, this is an honest company and that didn't happen.
They left me a bottle of product to clean the floor in the future, and advised me how to take care of the floor.
I would definitely use this company again.

    Craftsman Hardwood Floors
Art is a nice guy but the job was executed poorly. Art responded to my initial phone call and came out out quickly to quote the job. He was very knowledgeable about the process so I decided to go with him. The job over ran the projected time, but that can be expected. Upon detailed inspection of the floors I was astonished to see that they had varnished the wood floors with a lot of dirt and debris on it so now the debris was locked on top of the floor in many locations. Additionally the areas where they replaced sections was "cupping" and looked fairly unprofessional. To add that little extra flare of complete un-professionalisms they used my AC during the sanding process and removed the filter (who knows why) which caused my condenser to be covered in saw dust. After I complained to Art about all the issues he promised to fix everything.. That was close to a year ago and nothing.

    Terrazzo Care Restoration Experts
After reading such positive reviews about Frank and his service, I contacted him to refinish my terrazo floors before I moved into my new house. Frank is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. He said his main goal was for me to love
terrazo. His reviews and sincerity sold me on having him perform the work. The work was to begin on a Monday with his best
team performing the work. They showed up, without Frank, as scheduled and were very polite. I assumed Frank would show up also but he didn't come. No big deal as I figured he would come out during the process to inspect the job his workers were doing.
Maybe if the workers were supervised, none of my problems would have occurred. Since the house was empty, I told them they could use the refrigerator for their drinks and lunch. Give an inch.....  Monday night, after the first day work,  I came home to find water and dirt on the floor in one of the bathrooms. It turns out the workers felt it was acceptable to shower in my house. Not only that, but they broke the shower head. I conveyed this to Frank and he said he would address with his guys.
Tuesday night, I came home to two more incidents. 1) Hearing a drip coming from a different bathroom, I went in to find water
dripping in the shower stall. I guess since they broke the other shower head, they chose to shower in a different bathroom and did not properly shut off the water. 2) I found their clothes in my high end washer. I myself would not wash clothes filled with chemicals, crud, etc. in this washer, but they felt it was acceptable. It was too late to contact Frank so I waited to speak to him on Wed.
Wednesday morning, I went by the house to find one of his workers in the middle of cooking in my kitchen. Are you kidding me?! Then, I find they left the gate open down by my canal and their fishing rod leaning against the fence. These acts were completely
unprofessional and I would have immediately asked them to leave if I didn't need the job finished on schedule. I called Frank to explain my concerns and sent him pictures of these acts. He said he was horrified and would address with his workers. I asked him not to address with them until after the job was complete as I was concerned with what other actions would be taken. The job was finished, without notifying me and the workers took my house key. They had my cell phone number and could have easily called to make arrangements. It took an additional two days to get the key back based on Frank's schedule.
    Further items of note include:
*The interior doors were removed and stored on my outside patio subject to the weather. Upon completion of the job, the doors
were not reinstalled. I have no idea which door goes where.
    *Urinating in the bidet.
*The terrazo floor of the master bathroom closet was not done.
*The marble step going out to the garage was not done. They were aware of the step since they put some of the doors in the
    garage.
*There were brown stains that did not come out along the walls and corners in many of the rooms/closets. Per the quote, the
corners were to be done by hand. This was not done since the obvious stains were still there. When Frank came back to return the key, he applied a product to remove the stains. It did not work.
*Trash bags were left outside my house and empty soda cans were left inside my house.
*I am happy to recommend companies that do good work as it is difficult to find good people. However, ask me before you put a
    sign on my lawn.
This is not the experience I expected based on the Angie's List reviews and speaking to Frank. It is unbelievable that these
things occurred and that Frank had no explanation for the actions or make amends.

    FLOORS DIRECT

The sales part was great no hassle great products quality people to deal with.Installation was good. My only complaint was that the installers didn't vacumn the carpet when they were done. They said they didn't have a vacumn cleaner on the truck.
I wish joe the manager had called me at the completion of the job, and I would have told him about this.
But I would recommend these people and use them again. We are very happy with the carpet and really recommend the premium carpet padding. It cost more but worth every penny.

    N & T SERVICES INC
We have used him continually from August or September last year and I am still using him.  He has done a lot of work.  He is really an all in one.  I haven't gotten a bill from him yet, but I am assuming it would be about $300.00 or $400.00.  He is really good.

    Renovations By Darren
I called and spoke to Darren and explained to him that I was looking for durable but inexpensive laminate flooring. I also told him that I have a 2-1 1/2 BDR townhouse. He asked in what location and I said North Miami. Then he said in his own words "I hate to do this but, I suggest you call Dolphin Carpet since its going to be at least $400.00 for the nose on the edge of the stairs since I wanted wooden stairs" Never at any point did he ask what my budget was. Didn't event suggest to come out and take a look at the space. I finished the conversation with " I appreciate your honesty". Thank you and bye.
