    S & W Kitchens Inc
I have had three remodeling jobs done by Bill and Tom of S & W Kitchens in Longwood, Florida. One bathroom and my kitchen were totally removed and rebuilt. The other bathroom was basically refreshed with old wallpaper removed new flooring, bathroom hardware, vanity, mirror and fresh paint. Bill provided the decorating expertise while Tim supplied the project planning, supervision and selection of fantastic craftsman. My kitchen had some layout issues that compromised its utility. These utility issues were completely resolved and I was left with a much more useable space. All three spaces always receive compliments from my guests. I recommend the pair to anyone considering remodeling.

    Carl's Renovations Inc
I had contracted with a different contractor to refurbish my condominium in preparation for renting it out and he left the job partially completed job and much of what he did do was not done correctly. After trying for months to get him to come out and complete the job, I gave up and contacted Carl to come out and get things finished. Carl complete the job in two days and at a very reasonable price. The quality of his work was excellent. I wish I had hired him in the first place; the job would have been done months ago and my condo would already be on the market. I will definitely be keeping his number for any future work that I need have done.

All went very well from my perspective. Work was done timely and pleased with the quality of their workmanship and end result. This work was done to a rental home I was placing on the market to sell. The home looked very clean, nicely updated; the home had numerous contracts within 3 days in the market.

    Textures by Blue Sky Inc
It went great! They were a pleasure to deal with and one of the best bunch of contractors I have had in my home. Their price was right, they did what they said they'd do, they didn't leave a mess, they were on time & worked quickly. They even painted my a/c vents to match the ceiling paint. I wish every contractor was like this one. I would definitely use again.

    Richard Hamilton's Painting/Drywall
I rarely do reviews, but had to for Richard. He is easily one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. I think what makes him stand out is how proud he is of his reputation. He talked a big game prior to starting the work. I honestly thought he was setting himself up for failure by setting my expectations so high, but he lived up to all of the expectations he set. Richard and his crew were professional, meticulous in their work and cleaning, and completed the work on time. Richard, Dee, and Tommy thank you for doing such a knockout job for us!

    Troy Santos Painting
Troy Santos Painting does great work and is reasonably priced. We have used Troy, and his father before him, since 2004 for our painting both residential and commercial. Troy is a great painter but is also meticulous at QC (quality control) to assure his crew is getting the job done right. We have dark wood floors and white baseboards with quarter round so mistakes would be too evident - no problem with Santos. Troy is also very helpful with color coordination. Thank you Troy!

    Superior Cabinetry & Remodeling Inc
Joe and Al (and other sub-contractors) were always there when they said they would be and the project was finished on time. We wanted it completed prior to a holiday house party and they delivered as promised. The wainscot turned out beautiful, a testament to Al's skill as a carpenter and his passion for quality work. We would definitely recommend this company for any remodeling work. They were able to use some leftover marble we had from a prior project which was nice as that saved an additional expense. They had completely remodeled our master bathroom earlier in the year and we were extremely pleased with that work as well. They were a pleasure to work with and truly nice guys!

Philip White Painting & Restoration LLC
In the middle of a total kitchen remodel we realized that putting in new lights would result in many holes cut by the electricians to run the wires. As the floor & cabinets were due in a couple of days, I went into panic mode and started calling all of the A rated painters on Angie's List to see if I could get one on short notice. Phil answered his phone personally, was there to look at the job and give me a quote at the end of the day and had it repaired and painted within 2 days. He did an excellent job matching the ceiling texture as well. You can't even tell where the holes were. He'll be my go to guy for every other paint/patch job we have in our home remodeling.

    All Custom Painting and Trim

All Custom Painting and their team were amazing.  Before I moved to my new home, they painted the whole interior of the house.  This included removing old wallpaper that the previous owner painted over, painting all the doors, the trim, doing some patch work from small holes the previous owner left and of course painting the bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, dining room, kitchen, living room and the ceiling.  In one of the bedrooms the previous owner removed the carpet and we replaced it with a laminate wood floor that was also installed by All Custom Painting and his team.

Their attention to detail was remarkable.  Every corner cut in perfect, where the ceiling and the walls meet were done with perfection, no overlapping.  The flooring looks amazing .  True professionals in every sense of the word.    They were prompt, courteous and always cleaned up at the end of the day.  After the job was completed and we moved in, they offered to come back incase and walls were scuffed up during the move.  Truly goes above and beyond.

    Richard Hamilton's Painting/Drywall
I used Richard in August 2015 and was very satisfied with the work and his team.  As such, when I purchased a new condo and needed some painting and drywall work done, I reached out.  He came during the home inspection to view and quote the job.  We asked for the popcorn to be scraped so that we would have smooth ceilings and to paint the interior of a 2br/2ba, 860 sqft condo.  He quoted $1500 for the ceiling and $1000 for the painting.  I agreed and scheduled the work to begin in three weeks, right after we closed and before we moved in.  He promised that it would take 5 or 6 days to finish the work and that we would be able to move in the following weekend (8 days between getting the keys and being finished).  Due to weather delays with other projects and poor record keeping, he missed that his team was supposed to begin work on the day we agreed upon.  But, he still ensured the job would be done in time for my move to take place.  I continued to look in and was displeased with the progress. But, I am not a professional in this line of work, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they were telling me that everything would be done.  The day before they were supposed to finish, I knew there was no way it would be done. I called and they said it would take 1/2 a day longer than planned.  With this promise, I felt lied to.  They insulted my intelligence and were incapable of giving me a reasonable time-frame with which to anticipate completion.  In fact, they did lie to me repeatedly about when they would be working.  I would stop by to check in and they would not be working when they said they would.  Ultimately, it took a week longer than planned to do the job.  As we were moving in, I continued to find areas of poorly applied paint where you can see the old paint color.  I texted them that I was very disappointed with the overall quality, but that I had no intention of giving them the opportunity to fix it because I was tired of working with them.
They said that this was a tougher job that they anticipated. (In my opinion, this is another lie because they do this day in and day out and knew what they were getting into.)  They said that I increased the scope of the job by asking for smooth ceilings instead of textured ceilings. (In  my opinion, they heard what they wanted to.  I expected smooth ceilings from the start.)  It's probably also worth mentioning that they ended up charging me more money in the end.  I wanted them to feel like they got a fair shake of the deal, so I paid it.  I didn't want to argue over $200 because the whole job is sub-par.
Now,  several months later, the roof was replaced on my building.  Because of the walking and hammers above my ceiling, nails started falling through the drywall.  I have had other contractors out to fix the holes and they've commented about the unprofessional finish on the ceiling.
I also have discovered that they did not do all the work as agreed.  The ceilings in the bathrooms were supposed to be painted and were not.
