    We were told that Brashear's had a large selection of medical equipment so we called them on the phone asking if they have cushions for wheelchairs. They asked what size and sort of cushion she wanted, as they had them ranging from $10-$250. We said we were not sure of the kind of wheelchair or what the seat size was. They said if we wanted to come in, they would show us what they had available for her chair. We went and they were so nice and friendly there. Very patient, they measured her chair for us. Then they gave us a lot of options , from plain foam to fleece lined foam to gel packs, to inflatable. They also had several specialty cushions, like holes cut out for your tailbone or bedsores. We ended up getting a plain foam cushion with fleece on one side that fit her chair exactly so it no longer slides or bunches up. It only cost 19.95 which seems very reasonable to me. They spent a lot of time for only a $20 sale. I would recommend them to anyone.

    He went and "repaired" the unit.  Called me to say it was fixed (one relay was bad) and it had a bad switch on the UP side, so it would not stop at top on its own, I just had to release the button.  OK...I can deal with that, told him not to replace the switch.  I got the bill for $465, cosisting of 3 hours labor, two service visits and $150 relay.  This is a vacation home so I called and said I would be there in 2 weeks, to make sure of the repair. Yes, the lift went up and down a couple times...but.... 1) when in the down position you could open the door upstairs, giving you about a 10 foot drop... 2) The relay was replaced, and it is $51 from the manufacturer, he charged $150 3) I told him I wasn't happy about above 1 & 2 , nor being charged 2 service calls, nor being charged $150 for a $51 dollar part and was questioning why it took 3 hours to put in the relay (a 10 minute job). He said he had to take the cover off...that is one screw on the access panel...hinged access panel...10 seconds... 4) He did drop the one service call ($65) 5) Lift stopped working after I paid him My business deals with designing control system and I had one of my service engineers take a look at it.  He said that the one relay was replaced and that ALL the other switched and relays were fine.  Somebody had rewired the system and butchered it badly.  I am not blaming Mobility Express for doing this butchering, because I simply don't know and my video surveillance system could not pick what he was doing.  The lift stopped working because once I went up about an inch too high, it hit the switch and the way it was wired the whole system was basically shut repair was crap. Worst thing is that he left an elevator where the door could be opened when the lift was 10 feet down. This in my book is INEXCUSABLE.  Had he told me the interlock to keep the door locked did not work, I would have told him to deactivate the thing.This alone should rate him an F. OK...I wasn't there and I feel like I have been taken for a bit of a ride...lesson learned. He was pleasant enough and did stay in communication, but I feel the work performed and the price was poor. And my service engineer de-butchered the system and everything works as it should, without replacing any "bad" switches
