    Aaron's Cajun Handyman Services
I had a 5 shelf and a 3 shelf bookcase I was wanting to replace as one larger and better-sized shelf. I wanted it to fit the height and length of the wall and didn't want to worry about my encyclopedia sets being to much weight for the shelf (as they had been for any I bought from a store). Aaron got back to me the day I messaged him and set a time to come by and look at the space I had for the shelves. He was very polite, he broke down the cost for me, explained my options in materials for how sturdy I wanted it and the weight it could handle. I would definitely recommend. He will be who I call for any future handyman needs! He did an excellent job and was done quicker than I expected.

He charged me $275 for less than 3 hours work!!! That works out to over $100 an hour!!! After getting another handyman and charging $65 an hour I knew then Anthony overcharged his customers, or maybe he just overcharged me. Also, he took a door off that didn't have a scratch on it, brought it outside to shave off some of the bottom and put it back on with gouges now on the top of it. Then claimed it was like that before. Uhhh no Anthony it was NOT like that before. I inspected that door many many times before you came and not a mark on it. Pristine. So now I have to have the door painted. At that point it was no use arguing with him.I knew he was a liar and a rip off. I just wanted the job done and him out of my home! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Not only the above, but he never sent pictures of my roof work. He showed me on pic he took and never gave me a receipt or any paper work. My fault for not asking. But very unprofessional. He must not stsnd behind his work. No paper trail. CUSTOMER BEWARE!! If you like being overcharged and damage done to your home while getting the work done I say give him a call. He wont disappoint!!

    Home Res-Q Inc
I called for an estimate. Told the office lady exactly what I needed done. They were small jobs around the home. Nick, the owner came by after waiting for a week to get an appt estimate. He looked around and said they would charge me $65 an hour and he knew another handyman who could do it cheaper and texted that guy my info. Nick said if this guy named Mark Kenyon couldn't do it, Nick would TRY to come by on a Saturday or somethin (his words). He left and I had a couple texts from this Mark guy and a phone call. He said he'd try to get by Wed, Thu or Fri for an estimate. What the heck I thought, cant commit to an actual day??? So I texted again about coming out for confirmation of a day he said he'd be there Thursday after I got home from work. This Mark Kenyon NEVER called OR came by. What a couple of irresponsible business owners!!! Not only did they NOT want the business, Nick fluffing it off on some other irresponsible handyman to make it seem like he was really doing me some kind of favor, they wasted my time and energy for nothing! If I wanted someone else, I wouldnt of called Home Resque. And I paid a lot more for the previous handyman I used than $65 an hour and he gouged my door, so not using him again! How do they stay in business??! Horrible! If you want the RUN AROUND AND YOUR TIME WASTED call these two business owners. They won't disappoint!!

    Deep South Home Repair
For the first job, they came on time, finished on time, the floor was nicely done. For the second job, they came on time, completed on time. The floor looked nice, but one week later, my tenant mentioned to me the edge of the wood plank is coming up & the floor is making noise when he walked on & some wetness was in the living room. I hired a plumber to troubleshoot the problem. The plumber found the dish washer drain was not properly connected. Water was leaking out from there. I know that drain has been disconnected for the new floor. So I told Mike about the problem, showed him the photo taken by the plumber for the drain connection. Mike agreed to come back to replace the damaged floor after he spoke to the plumber. Mike came back in 3 weeks brought all the material to replaced the damaged floor which is about 90% of the floor he put in earlier. The job was well done. He was responsible for their mistake.

    Dwayne Faulkner - TNT Carpentry
He came out and installed them in under three hours and said he was done. He didn't install all of the locks and he didn't fix the floor. He just rushed me to pay him without reviewing the work and then he ran out of the door. He also put the old locks back on instead of installing the new locks. I have been calling him because the doors do not close right and it barely locks. I've had another company look at the door and the second company told me that the door was not installed properly. It was also hung up with only two screws per door instead of nine on each door. I even called him this morning and asked him to try and fix the door but was told that he "maybe" will be able to come out over the weekend. He doesn't want to come fix the door even though he didn't install it correctly.

    Dwayne Faulkner - TNT Carpentry
Contacted through email. I emailed back him back and went through work that was needed. I asked to see if we could use his overload/overflow guys as the work needed to be done quickly. SP said he is only two weeks out. I responded with this email to say ok. On the 22nd august i contacted him to see if he was available he said he would check his schedule. I then went into hospital did not hear from him. Once I got out of hospital and contacted Dwayne Faulkner - TNT Carpentry to see if i was still on his waiting list I was told that he had sent me an email whilst in hospital early in the week and never heard from me so they had already filled their schedule and I was unable get the work completed. I checked my email to see if i had received an email whilst in hospital and no email was found. I feel frustrated and let down by this company, i wish they had just let me know from the start they weren't able to schedule to work so I didn't have to go through the stress of finding a new company.

    Crown Home Maintenance & Repair
When Andy and his wife came out to look at the problem we came up with a solution together. He refined it and designed it out of PVC. He researched the time and materials and the price was reasonable. The work was done quickly and with a thought to continuing it in the future. We will be using Crown again.

    Ricky Anderson
Ricky takes care of our property when we are out of state. He mows, trims, maintains the yard.  He pressure washed our driveway and front patio area behind the seawall.  9Big job and his price was good.) He paints and does whatever is needed to make the property look cared for.  Ricky noticed a small problem with our boat and also took care of that.  He adds to peace of mind when we are at our other home.  He does a very good job and he told me this:  "I can do everything except actually build the house."  He is very competent, reliable, and professional.  We recommend him highly.
