  • The experience was not good. They took me by ambulance, so that part was fine. When they got me to the emergency room, they put me in hall seats, and I thought they were waiting for room to open up in the emergency room. They broke the machine and undressed me in the hall seat, and hooked me up to the KG machine and took the blood there. They took me back for chest x-ray and other tests, and every time they would be done with something, they would take me back to the hall seat. That was my home, and I wasn't the only one lined up in the hall, being treated that way. It was horrible. The doctors were efficient, and I thought they got a lot done, and he said that they wanted me to get admitted, but I didn't want. He gave me reasons why he wanted me to get admitted. He said I should have MRI, and he gave me a list of tests to be done the next day. I reluctantly agreed to be admitted. It took them hours to get me into a room,  and a double occupancy room that was not new or not nice. The nurse was nice, but by midday next day, no doctor had come to see me, so there was no enzyme test, no MRI, nothing. The doctor worked out of 3 hospitals and he said he would not be there until 8pm. Finally at about noon, I said I was leaving. I told them that the doctor had said these were precautionary, and I would take my blood pressure medicine. She said I could not do that, and I said I could. I told her that if I didn't see the doctor by 1pm, I would be out of there. The doctor that I was waiting for did not show up and they sent another doctor, who discharged me with prescription. Nothing that the other doctor said should be done wasn't done. We went to that hospital because people told us that that was the hospital to go to in Miami. We chose to go there. Things happened quickly in the ER but you don't want to wait in the hospital without a doctor coming.

  • Although I like CVS, I don't like this one. I don't like this one because I don't find the people accommodating. They lock up the razors and there have been a couple of times when I have had to wait for someone to unlock a razor for me. There was a time when I was checking out, and one of the managers came, and the person had to literally stop the check out in mid order, and go an do what this person wanted. I think I may have contacted CVS about that because I wasn't happy about that. I like the pharmacist, but I wasn't enamored with some of the people who work there, and are not helpful. I have been happy with the pharmacy aspect of it, they are fast, the assistance is good, and they have been very helpful with explaining everything. I get great deals because I do the coupon deals, so I don't know how the normal prices are. They call my husband when my prescription is done, it may be in the computer that the first name gets called. I will be back there in an hour to pick up my prescription.
