    The initial idea was a light remodel but after the clear breakdown we were able to do so much more with our budget.  My floors look great, the kitchen was affordable and amazing, the humidity is gone and the finishing touches in the trim round up my renovation and turned my house is to the perfect representation of what we visualized.

    This is the 2nd time I have used Richard Rokowski LLC. to install carpeting in my home. He initially put carpeting in my master bedroom last fall.  I was impressed with his Professionalism and quality of his work. So when I needed my family room done I once again called Richard.  He came in, measured my family room and gave me a Great estimate. He has good quality carpeting and very reasonable rates. Richard and his workers were polite, professional and did a great job in my home.He finished the job promptly and in good time. If i ever need carpeting again, I would definately use Richard again.

    Richard was a really good guy. He came out and gave me an estimate. Told me everything it entailed. The moving of my furniture out of my bedroom,the removal of all the old materials ,including the tacking strip, padding and old carpet. After removing the materials, his assistant made sure my bedroom surface was clean and prepped for the installation of the new carpeting. They installed my padding and carpet, moved my furniture back into my bedroom and made sure I was completely satisfied before they were paid. I was very satisfied with their service and have also recommended them to my neighbors ,who just suffered a major flood in their home.

    I was given his number by a friend. He came over right away and was right on time. His workmanship was wonderful. The seams were invisible and his work was beautiful. His quote came in much lower than competitors and the quality of the carpet was excellent. He is such an asset to our community. My overall experience with him has been perfect. I can't imagine the work being done any cleaner or nicer.

    Jose had a 2 man team to handle the tile as well as a 2 man team to carpet.  They removed both toilets to tile underneath as well as the vanity.  The tile had a pattern and the guy who laid it too particular care that the l ines were straight.  It rained all that weekend and the guys were careful no track in dirt/leaves  They all took particular care to keep my dogs from escaping as they had to go in and out often. They cleaned up after themselves.  The carpet team moved all the furniture and storage out of the master placed the carpet and then moved all the things back in.  They were very professional.  I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend US regional Floor.  By the way, when they told me when they would come they came on time and Jose took all the time I needed to allow me to make my decisions, no pressure willing to give ball park est before the formal est.  I am just sincerely impressed.

    I haven't had the best of luck with flooring providers here on Angie's list. Recently when someone asked me why I thought the reason was, I told them that I thought it was due to a lack of communication between sales and service. Which is what I believe was the problem here as well. Let me preface all this by saying that the work is good and I love the new floors. 
      When Robert showed up to do the measurements and show me samples, he was super cool and friendly. He showed me some samples and I asked him if they were an accurate representation of the product I would receive and he assured me that it was. He also said that the guys who would be installing the floors would pull up all of the original laminate before installing the new one and that they "were like machines" and they would be done with everything in one day. So, I requested the day off and waited for the installers to show up. When they showed they looked at the existing flooring and said they would not be removing it, but instead installing the new floors on top of the existing ones. But since they didn't have the plywood to level out some of the uneven spots in the floor that they would come back the next day to start work. So they were there for five minutes and then left for the day, prompting me to use another personal day off from work. 
      The next morning, only one installer showed instead of the two from the day before and when he showed me the actual flooring he was going to be putting in, it was indeed the same look and style, but it was way thinner than what Robert had shown me during the measurement. And again, although he worked the whole day, the installer did not finish on that second day either, prompting me to burn another day off from work. Actually it was only a half day I had to use, but still.
      So there you have it. Although the work was done and it looks fine, there definitely was a miscommunication between Robert and his installers. I also feel like I was misinformed on several aspects of the job and product.

    I hope you have a smart phone or laptop when dealing with the owner, Lincoln, because he does not make phone calls and only makes a physical appearance at the time of the estimate. Where do I start? Well, let me first say that the workers he employs are good, hard-working people, and that the floor did look amazing when it was done. My real beef with this service provider is the customer service provided by the owner, Lincoln. The only communication I ever received from Lincoln was via text message or e-mail, but mostly text messages. I also feel like he didn't efficiently relay our discussions, in terms of what we were going to do and over what span of time, to his workers. After the first day of work, when I spoke with the workers, they acted as if they didn't know what the grand scale of work that was going to be done was. They relayed to me that all they thought they were there for was the installation and they had no idea about the refinishing we were set to do throughout the whole house. 
      I also never really received a concrete schedule. I was told what day and time they were going to be there, but I was not told how long it would take per day and how many days it would take. I took a day off only to find that I needed to take two at the end of the first service day. I kind of feel like when Lincoln was doing the estimate and saw that I currently had no wood flooring, he should have made a judgement call and informed me exactly about all the events that were going to transpire in my home from beginning to end. I also feel like I didn't receive a good description of what was needed from me and what was going to occur in my home as a result of the wood installing process. I cleared out the floor of items, but didn't know I needed to remove everything off the shelves and walls as a result of the sanding process. I was a wood floor "newbie" and didn't know all these things. That's where I feel like the service experience was really lacking. I kind of felt like I was "winging" it each day and I don't think that's a very professional way to treat your customers. 
      I'm a very busy guy. I work nights, and they wanted to start at the crack of dawn. I work full time and have recently gone back to school, so I need to be on top of things in my life. Lincoln didn't make me feel like I had control of anything. When I made a request to split a few days of the work so that I could prep my home accordingly, he agreed, but made it a point to comment on the inconvenience to him and his crew before doing so. Maybe I'm crazy, but I just don't feel like you should treat your customers that way. Especially if you've made it onto Angie's list.
      As stated earlier, the original estimate was for a much bigger job. I had intended to remove all the existing laminate and carpet so as to reveal the original wood underneath it all and have it all refinished. At the end of the day, this would have been the entire house I would have re-done. After just the initial job of the living room installation and the treatment I felt I received, I cancelled the remainder of the initial estimate of the work. It's a shame too, because the floors in the living room did come out so nice and all Lincoln had to do to keep the remainder of the contract was just use a little bit better customer service.

    Carpet originally purchased and installed by Creative Floors several years ago, currently past warranty. Ripples had developed in LR, DR, and hall. Creative Floors sent one of their installers to give us an estimate and set up a time to restretch the carpet. Work was done in one morning, installers moved heavier items and cleaned up everything very well. We are disappointed that the carpet or original installation may have been faulty, however, the problem was completed to our satisfaction.

    I used an Angie's List Big Deal, $59 for two hours of Handyman services.  Melvin called and asked if he could come earlier than our appointment time, which was fine with me.  I gave him a list of items to be done and asked for an estimate.  The estimate was much higher than I was expecting, but it was quite a long list.  So I asked Melvin which items on the list he could complete within the two hour time period I had already prepaid.  He gave me an estimate of what he could do in two hours time, so we agreed to limit the work to just those tasks.  Melvin was efficient and I was satisfied with the work he provided.  It was a good value for the money.  I would use My Handy Craftsman again in the future, with or without a Big Deal, though the Big Deal was certainly a nice bonus.
