Pest Control reviews in Atlantic Beach

It turned out very well. In the analysis they were very thorough about pointing out stuff and even bug areas up in our attic and this is a new house we're getting to move into. So, they analyzed the few bugs they found there and what treatment they needed and they took care of it and we haven't had any problem since.

We had a raccoon problem to the extent they were entering our home through our pool screen kitty door, and when we blocked that these critters started tearing through the screen to get to the house. One call to Jeff is all it took and there was a trapper at our door hours later with all the gear they needed. In one week they caught 5 raccoons, including the mother, and a possum. The traps were checked in a timely fashion, calls were returned promptly, and the service was friendly and professional. In other words great service!
In addition, as we were walking around the property John pointed out that we also had moles. Well, we knew that because the ground was soft under our feet in certain sections and there were tell tale mounds of dirt, but had procrastinated on doing something about it. Now was our chance to deal with that conveniently and effectively so we took them up on that too. We feel our money was well spent and received good value in return.

These ants are especially hard to get rid of because they just appear out of nowhere, just like ghosts. The best part about the products they use is that they do not have any odor and do not harm pets. I have asthma so I have to be very careful about anything with an odor.

Bryce is very efficient and a true gentleman. He explained what he was doing as he went along and what might happen after he left, like seeing some of the critters as they try to get away from where he put the powder and spray. I really appreciate that. He even made friends with our dog Roxie, a miniature poodle, by throwing her favorite toy, which she absolutely loved.

Heather, their gal in the office, is a doll. She is so personable over the phone and so polite. I would love to meet her some day.

I would highly recommend Bryce and this company to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly company to come into their home or business to get rid of their bug pests.

I pay monthly for quarterly service with 2 free visits should any of the pests return before the next scheduled visit.

    Critter Control of Jacksonville
Mosquitos returned in force within days. What I expected, as our area is just very much friendly toward their breeding and NE Florida generally has lots of them. The first day or 2 they seemed to be gone, but the ones over in the nearby yards soon moved over. Any residual spray would be washed away by rain and sprinklers pretty quick, so nothing would prevent this.
I just do not see this treatment as being viable for anything but very short term effect. Maybe in a different environment it would have more lasting effect, I don't know. I just thought I'd give it a try, as the county has cut back spraying and we are overwhelmed with the things.
The guy that came out, the person on the phone, etc, all top-notch. If I needed other work done I would give them a try. I have a pest company that I use and like, for years, so I won't switch.

Busy Bee Termite & Pest Control Inc
Thorough and helpful insights.  Lots of hidden damage.  Did his very best to determine as much as he could within the confines of what the owner would allow without intruding into walls and sheetrock. Explained the clues.  Instrumental in helping us to get a price reduction.  His services paid for themselves over and over.

Busy Bee Termite & Pest Control Inc
I have used this company for WDO/termite inspections 25-30 times or more over ten years.  They are the very best.  I have never had a bad experience or complaint.  I once tried another company, so disappointed.  In addition, I have had this company inspect a property, make findings, and then have other companies come out and find nothing, then when I show them Busy Bee's findings and discover the other companies had missed the termites and/or termite damage.  This review relates to my Mom's condo, where they again did a thorough and professional job, but that is par for the course for them. The office staff is nice and accommodating.  The owner is personable, timely, takes time to explain everything.  He is willing to be called on his cell phone and answer any questions.  They are willing to communicate by email.  They expedite findings to wherever they need to go.  I cannot say enough good things about Busy Bee.  I would hesitate to share them b/c I would hate for them to get too busy for me, but they are so great, I can't keep quiet!!!!

Busy Bee Termite & Pest Control Inc
Wonderful!  Professional, thorough, friendly.  Greeted by excellent office staff on initial call.  Came out to fit my schedule.  On time.  Thoroughly inspected where others usually blow through.  Took time to explain findings to me, to my realtor, and to my in-laws; shared experiences to help new buyers understand overall perspective on findings.  Just the best I've ever found.  Have seen other companies work over the last ten years and keep coming back to Busy Bee.

    Royal Pest Services Inc
I've had Royal Pest Services Inc for  years. I have an ongoing contract with them. They come out to do treatment twice a year. They do the inside of my house twice a year and they spray the outside periodically as well. I love this company. This company did the pest control for the previous owners of my house.

    Bug Out Service- Corporate Office
I have over 20 rental properties and have dealt with hundreds of individuals and contractors over the decade-plus that I have been in the Beaches area; this is the worst one I have every dealt with.  That is saying a lot!
Specifically, for over four years, I paid (in advance) for lawn treatment/spray service on my primary oceanfront residence, as well as began termite treatments and had termite bonds on  my primary and rental properties.  There were little things through the years that I dismissed--bushes dying, live termites found after their inspection said there were none, unilateral increases in my bond prices without notice, etc.--but I just worked through them and chalked it up to no one being perfect.
However, in early spring, I noticed a 3-4 foot in diameter brown spot in my back yard.  I repeatedly called.  When I spoke with a manager Mark and a service technician Nick, they would tell me they'd treated it and it would "green back up", not to worry.  By the end of summer, the spot had grown to over 65-foot wide (our entire yard being 75 feet wide) and running its length.  Despite earlier assurances to the contrary, Nick confirmed on his last inspection that it was truly dead and would not be coming back.  Mark declined offered photos and said he would look, but I never heard back.  At that point, they would not return my phone calls.
In any event, we had to re-sod our entire yard.  The cost exceeded $3,691.25 (5 pallets totaling $2,206.25 plus $1,485 labor), not including disposal of pallets, portions, done ourselves, extensive water bill for new sod, etc.  The last technician out said that we were going to have to do the same thing to our front yard.I wrote asking them how to handle.  No response.
I contacted the BBB.  The owner wrote back with crazy talk, saying things about the BBB and flat out lying.  The owner called me a "predatory consumer" and said I just wanted to re-do my landscaping.  It was absolutely ludicrous because I just replaced the grass that they killed--I didn't do any different landscaping.  And I had been paying them for 4 years.  All my letters and calls were completely professional, and his response was totally bizarre.
I asked to settle the matter by crediting me on my other accounts--where I had termite bonds.  One manager said he'd call me back and never did.
Their insurance company wrote to me and admitted that they killed my lawn but said there was a clause in their contract that said they are not responsible for the expenses caused by that.
So in the end, they don't service the termite bonds I have been paying for for years, they did not refund my pre-paid lawn care, they killed my lawn which I had to replace at over $4,000 that was not reimbursed; and they called me names and lied about me to the  BBB.  It sounds crazy, and it is!!!!!!!
