Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
So i found them here on Angie's List and saw the review were good. I went to their site where they offered a $50 massage and a $50 facial for first time clients. Called to purchase the gift certificate and was told it would be $140. Asked about the pricing on the website and was told those are for walk-in's only. So if i want to give a gift its an extra $40. Just didn't make any sense to me.

    Somerville, Dr. Stephen J
My back has been fine after the treatment. I had not gone back since. I have been really feeling well. It was just a minor adjustment. I have used him off and on for seven years. He is knowledgeable. What I like is he is not one of those jerk-around types. He is very gentle and does what needs to be done. My wife goes to him more than I do. His availability is quite good. If we need to, we can drop in without an appointment and get in.

    Massage Solutions
Everything went well and we really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing that was a little wierd was at the end when I handed her the Angile's list vouchers (they already knew these were purchased on Angie's list), the owner informed me that the cost did not include a tip. She was very loud about it and announced it in front of other customers. Normally I tip when I receive good service and the service was good, I just didn't like the way she handled it. She could have told me at the beginning of the message about that and let me decide if I wanted to tip or not. I did tip them but was embarrassed about how it was handled. I probably will not go back since there are plenty of great massage therapists that I can go to who wouldn't handle things that way. They would be more professional.

Serenity Now Yoga Holistic Wellness & Spa

We went on July 4th, hoping to avoid a large class size and to get away from the holiday fireworks. We got both-- the class size was indeed small, and we found a unique way to kick off the evening of July 4th that didn't involve combustibles. As for the class itself, it was just meh, in my opinion. Throughout the class, the instructor stood in front of the windows, so I found the glare from behind her to be distracting. But I was really distracted most of all by the choice of music, which was played very loudly. It was some strange selection of various Christian hymns. (I distinctly remember hearing Willie Nelson belting one out at some point.) Maybe it was her way of highlighting the 4th of July, but I found the instructor's music choice to be off-putting and distracting. It was the opposite of the common ethereal, unobtrusive background music you're used to hearing during a yoga class. While I was able to maintain my focus and concentration during this class, it left me feeling uncomfortable about the place. I've never gone back.

    MASSAGE ENVY - Dr Phillips
I purchased 6 additional massages for $300 but the one I paid for that day was $150. She was very friendly and she did exactly what I needed done. She had a good, positive, friendly attitude. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They were so good. They gave us a good tip and I purchased additional products and the package afterwards. They have a great masseuse, a great atmosphere, and there is no long wait. They're so good that you really have to schedule ahead of time.

    PARK AVENUE CHILD CARE-SANFORD
My main reason for telling people to stay away is that starting in May 2013, my son started coming home with some bruises.  I was told by the director and teachers that it was "this kid, or that kid" or they didn't see anything at all and had no idea how he got the marks.  My son stopped potty training and started hitting.  After a few weeks, I turned on the news before work and saw a teacher from this daycare being arrested for slapping a 2 year old girl in the face so hard it ruptured her eye.  There was a clear handprint bruise across her face.  The doctor at the ER called the police.  My son had told me that he didn't like this teacher - granted, he was 2 and his speech and communication skills were not very good - and I didn't understand at the time what he was really trying to tell me.  As soon as I started putting two and two together, I knew that he had been having issues with this specific teacher.
The state atty office has dropped the charges.  The incident happened in the bathroom, where there were no cameras.  The camera shows the teacher going into the bathroom and then suddenly running out to get ice.  The little girl was fine when she entered the bathroom with the teacher.
Since the 2 year old couldn't give viable testimony, and there was no video "proof", they dropped the charges.  However, I do know that the owner, Tim Davis, called the mother of the little girl and was rude and accusatory, almost threatening.  The police and the mother confirmed this to me.  When my son saw the teacher's picture on TV, he made a very mad looking face, pointed and made comments like "mean" and "not like".
The mom of the little girl and I both believe that she was hitting the kids in the bathroom - especially since my son stopped potty training and went back to diapers (crying when I tried to make him use the toilet, like he was afraid).  His markings were consistant with her grabbing him by the arms and forcibly putting him on the toilet.  Unfortunately, his bruises were too healed by the time I was able to figure out what was going on and the police weren't able to get any evidence that he was abused.
Had the daycare taken responsibility and been protectors of the children, I would have stayed with them.  But, instead, they sent letters to the parents (accidentally mailing a copy to my home after I had pulled him out of there) stating that they were targeted unjustly by the police and that the mother of the child was lying.  They took no accountability, were not apologetic and tried to cover up what happened.  The mother asked the daycare owner that same day to see the camera footage, and was told by the owner that it "wasn't available" and then the police had to go retrieve it.
This daycare is owned by Tim Davis, if that name sounds familiar, it's because you've seen him in the news this past year because he shot and killed his own son.  If you want your child to be safe and happy, find another daycare.

    INGRAM'S PRESCHOOL ACADEMY
They have been in business for 40 years. They are very professional and the place is always clean. I have seen the business built from generation to generation. They are also active in the community. The staff is very caring and represent love and pride. I have seen this place grow from the beginning. The price is surprisingly low.

The adjustments were painless, thorough, efficient and extremely effective. For the first time in months I could stand up without my back going into spasms. I am confident that I back on the path to an active lifestyle.

He is actually going to the assisted living place where my mother lives to adjust her tomorrow. He is that flexible. A lot of chiropractors will tell you that you need to come back two or three times a week. He doesn't do that. He adjusts you, and then he tells you to come back when you need it. He doesn't try to drum up business for himself. In my experience, he is professional, friendly, and courteous. He is very effective.

He was listed on my provider list. I did not know much about this so I chose him as he was closer. His availability was excellent. What I liked most is that chiropractors often ask you to visit them several times and he did not do that. He saw me only one time and treated me. He asked me to go to him again only if I needed him.
