    Buying windows from NewSouth was the worst mistake we have ever made for a home improvement project. We signed an agreement to have 21 windows and 2 sliding glass doors replaced and at the time we were told it would take about 12 - 16 weeks for installation. 14 weeks into the process we had not heard from the company at all so we contacted them and were told they were still in manufacturing and they would call us once they are ready, Again weeks passed with no calls and we contacted them again, same story. August 20th they finally arrived for installation and afterwards 3 of the windows were made incorrectly. We were told they would have them remade and we should hear from someone in a week to two weeks. A month passed with no contact and I am sure you can see the pattern here. Weeks and weeks with no contact and finally on the 22nd of December they showed up with the 3 windows. Once again they were made incorrectly. At this time we asked to speak to someone in charge or we would consider legal action for breach of contract. Two weeks later we did receive a phone call stating they would call us on the 25th of January with the date to be installed. It is now well past that date and we have yet to hear from them. This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service and making things right. For the cost of these you would think they would be more committed to making things right that leaving customers floundering. It has been nearly a year now and we have engaged a lawyer and will be pursuing legal action against this company.

    Great. Buck came by on time and exactly as planned. We walked through the job and Buck created a detailed plan that included paint and labor hours needed to complete the work. The team showed up on time and did great work. The house looks fabulous. We then had Buck provide us with an estimate for the inside of the house. It was reasonable and he was very detailed. I give Buck and his team the HIGHEST possible rating!!! They were awesome and I would never ever use another painter!!!

    1 ordered 10 windows and 5 doors. When they came to install them one window was ordered wrong, one window came with a damaged frame, and one door had damaged glass. It took them several trips coming to my house and we are still finding problems...its been 6 months. When we called John, one of the owners, he said he would get right back to us, he didn't, we had to call him back a week later. He became very defensive when I brought up problems to him and upset that I would not leave a key laying around my backyard for them to come and go at their convenience. The sales rep Aaron even called me to tell me their installer Roger had injured his hand and would not be able to come as scheduled. When Roger came to my house a few weeks later he was perplexed when I asked him about his hand, he said he never injured himself but that he cancelled because he has another job to do.

    This has been a nightmare from day one! We contracted NewSouth in August of 2015, we were promised an 8-10 week delivery and were informed in early November that the order was in and they scheduled the install. When the installers arrived they only had half the order with them with no indication on when the balance would be ready. I tried numerous times to contact the manager (of what I don't know) Dan McCarty and could not reach him. I sent the installers away and told them that in accordance with the terms of their onerous contract that I had signed that partial installations were not covered in the contract. Some 3 weeks later they called stating that the order was complete and installation was scheduled. When they arrived and only after my original windows were removed it was discovered that one window and the 3 panel slider were incorrect. I was stuck and reluctantly paid the second of three installments on the contract. The installers noted on the completion ticket the errors that were found and included in their report that the 2 panel slider also was incorrect. After another three weeks, (we are in mid December now) the correct 3 panel slider and window came in as well as the mis-measured window. I though all was fine until we discovered that the lockset was incorrect on the 3 panel slider....on to December 24th, 2015. During a storm in the week of 12/7 I went in the room where the 2 panel door that the initial technician had commented about the fit to discover a strong breeze coming through the gap where the door panels meet in the center strong enough to blow a candle out. With all the other problems I had forgotten about the installers notes on the 2 panel door. The correct lockset was installed by the only competent person that I have dealt with so far at NewSouth - namely Colin. Colin went to the 2 panel door and observed that the two panels were different widths and could not believe they had passed county inspection. Colin measured the doors and told me he would order a replacement. On January 4th 2016.....FIVE MONTHS after the start of this debacle, I called NewSouth and was told the replacement door would be in on January 8th. I was patient and waited until the 14th to call again, I was told the door was not yet in and the delay was due to the holidays. I digress a bit and have not covered that this is my second horrible experience with NewSouth, the first was in 2014, you would think I would have learned. One of the main problems is that you never get the same person twice when you call and when you request a call back from the last person you spoke with it never comes. I have on two occasions taken the time to go to their showroom to confront Earl Rahn and Dan McCarthy with no apparent solution to my problem. Back to January 14th, I lost it and sent Mr. Earl Rahn a nasty email. He by return email promised to address the problem and would be in touch. So today on January 18th I received a call from Raymond Rose who began to explain to me that this door mis-match is a warranty issue and he would have the manufacturer contact me....manufacturer? Did I leave out the part that although the commercials on TV tell you they have a factory, they don't make their own sliding glass windows or doors? He went on to tell me that there was no replacement door on order for me and that Colin should not have told me he had the authority to correct their problem. At this point I lost my temper and am guilty of using profanity, Mr. Rose hung up on me. I tried to call Earl Rahn, but he will not return a phone call. I just heard from Mr. McCarthy who claims he might have a door panel in stock that will fit and will call me back today or tomorrow. Anybody taking bets that I will receive a call? If they had this panel in stock why have I waited an extra month? Wouldn't you be lowered to using profanity if you were jerked around like this? Just remember, don't raise your voice and don't use profanity or you will go to the bottom of the list. The funny thing is I still owe these people the final payment, the check was made out and has been sitting on my desk since December the 9th, I guess they are so busy and successful they don't want to complete my contract and pick up their final payment. If you have nothing better to do and love to fight then by all means do business with NewSouth, but if you are out in the world trying to make it on your own then steer clear of these people because their deplorable customer services will suck you dry and take days out of your schedule that you will never get back or be compensated for. I own my own small business and my life blood is customer service. I would be out of business if I treated just one customer as I have been treated. My business is a member in good standing with the BBB. Their complaint page is my next stop after I post this.

    This work was performed on a property that we're preparing to sell and I was not present when the work was performed.  I spoke with Mr. Harper on the phone, explained the work I needed and that I needed the work done quickly. My Harper came to the property the next day and repaired everything.
    The work was superb, price more than fair and the clean up was spotless. 
    He was extremely professional and friendly on the phone and most certainly adjusted his scheduled to facilitate my needs. I'd highly recommend this gentleman for any of the repair services he advertises.

    I was in need of quick action to move my wall back 5 inches to accommodate a new sub-Zero type refrigerator that we were replacing at counter depth.  Since installation of my entire kitchen was waiting on a last minute discovery that the wall needed to be moved, Paul came to the rescue after our initial phone conversation and sending a few pictures.
    I had arranged to have electrical moved so Paul could focus on the wall.  He arrived on time, was EXTREMELY professional in helping me figure out what measurements we needed for clearance of new appliance door to open properly.  He had to move and replace floor tiles, match curved wall edges and match out knock down texture on the walls.   
    To our amazement he delivered beyond our expectations and matched everything flawlessly.  He was organized, prompt, accurate with the quote, and his work was well thought out ahead of time so he had no mistakes.  WOW!  He was thrown into our project under pressure and we were lucky to find him.
    I will use Paul on the many other projects we have coming up and highly recommend his work (and my husband is meticulous about these things).

    Lorena has a "get'er done" work ethic! I couldn't have gotten everything I needed done without her help. She just got right in there and helped me with everything I needed, from "soup to nuts". :-) She was such a great help during my move. She saw things that needed repair before I did.   I had to purchase a lot of furniture for our new home, and Lorena and her crew helped me assemble everything. They even helped me with decorating ideas, went shopping with me and told me what would look good where, as I do not have any talent in this area. She was a God Send! I will be using her services in an ongoing capacity as we are using the home for a vacation rental and need a local maintenance team.

    Mark was friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns as well as answered all my questions.  The measurements we're taken at 11 a.m.  this morning and I received an e-mail estimate an hour later with a follow-up phone call from Diane. I eagerly paid my deposit to get construction of my door under way and look forward to the next step when my door is ready for install.  
    I expected the entire job to be a few hundred dollars more than the estimate I was given. With what we asked to be done, you can't go to a hardware store a purchase a new door unless you want the same $800(+install)  security risk glass slider.....


    Update: I had the door installed 2 days ago. It's amazing. The technician that did the install work went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my door purchase. He explained how the door install. He was even nice enough to help us figure out the positioning on our alarm system. 

    The whole process from start to finish is under two weeks, I enjoyed that they pulled the permits for me and even set up the inspection. I would definitely use this company again.
