Steve Morgan Pressure Washing & Painting
My concrete tile roof was looking cruddy and not so red anymore when I asked SMPW to clean it. This company had done so once before, with excellent results, so I had confidence that they would repeat the performance. I was not disappointed. Rico was the technician assigned to the job, and he took all necessary steps to get it done right. Not only was the roof beautifully red again, but he washed all windows and even cleaned the outside of the house, A/C units and a small deck to our sunroom. The entire house looked new again.

    The English Painter
I couldn't be happier about the quality of the job. The English Painter is the best service company I have ever dealt with. Not only is their work exceptional they are punctual, accommodating and very pleasant people. My home looks brand new!

    Paris Handyman Connections
David called me back a short time after I left him a message. He came to my home and quoted the work and said that he could begin the work the following day. The next day he showed up on scheduled and completed the work under budget, and passed the savings on to me. I would hire David again without hesitation.

    The Pool Specialist
Overall it went well. There was some delay in the project due to the weather so it took a few weeks longer then anticipated. The work is beautiful the pool looks great. It was an easy process. The things I was not happy with was that the sandblasting made a mess and no one returned to clean it for a month. Despite me asking a few times. I had a huge pile of sand in my back yard and they didn't tell me there would be sand everywhere I would have protected my patio furniture and plants better. I still have sand coming out of places that could have been easily prevented with an FYI of how far the sand actually travels. Other than that the tile work is beautiful. And the resurfacing is very nice.

    Handyman Orlando

As an experienced (but older) handyman myself, I have an uncommon appreciation of people who do a good job in all types of handyman work. It's hard to find a good handyman and if one is luck enough to come across one, there is a natural selfish tendency to keep him a secret. However, Mike is too good to keep a secret. We hired him for three days in November, 2015 to do a variety of work around a house that we were prepared for sale. I prepared a long list of tasks, assuming that the handyman would only get through the first part of the list, leaving the rest for a later date.

Mike demolished the list within the three days allocated. He has such a work ethic that he arrived the first day before the appointed time and jumped in to start the work even as I was reviewing what needed to be done. He worked unsupervised for the three days, and sent pictures of each task as it proceeded so that I would be aware of what was going on. He took about 5-6 hours for the large drywall repair job. I had had two estimates of the work from drywall specialists; both estimates were for in excess of $1,200 (and 2 days for the work); with Mike's billing rate it cost less than $250. He also repaired two sets of double doors with dry rot that I thought would need to be replaced. Plus some additional tasks (see above).

After those three days, Mike mentioned that he taught classes in electrical and plumbing for the other handymen employed by the firm. I then compiled a further list of work, including plumbing and electrical repair/restoration, plus some woodworking in repairing cabinetry, etc. (again see list above). I again made up a long list an reserved three additional days of Mike's time in December, 2015. This time he went through the whole list in two days. HandymanOrlando were kind enough to charge me for only the two days, although I had reserved Mike for three.

Although I obviously can't speak for all the handymen employed by the firm, Mike is unbelievable. He has an unusually strong work ethic combined with some decades of experience and a sense of pride in his work. The quality and speed of his work was truly impressive. I would also like to say that my interactions with HandymanOrlando by phone (Tammy) and through email was thoroughly professional. They are easy to reach, responsive and very well organized. I would go back to them in an instant!

    Top Dog Screen Repairs Inc.
Andre and his staff are true professionals. Our screen porch was old and the screen was held on by staples & boards. After he gave us a quote, he was able to complete the job within a weeks time. They installed the proper materials and have made our porch usable again. We love it!

    Total Home Roofing
I am not often impressed with sales presentations, but the salesman was professional, and informative with out being pushy and came prepared with copies of licenses and +certificate of  insurance. Asside from Angies list which I used to pre screen 3 roofing companies, the presentation and preparedness were the 2 main reasons for choosing this company even though they were slightly higher.
The job went as expected except for one deck repair I wasn't happy with, that was immediately corrected with out further discussion. I am a hands-on homeowner constantly asking questions and inspecting work done. At no time was I made to feel that I was in the way or asking too many questions all of which were answered immediately. The work crew was professional, prompt, and worked hard to complete the job properly.
The icing on the cake was the wind mitigation inspection. The only fault in the sales presentation was that I don't remember a lot of importance put on this,  (although it was circled on the proposal)so I didn't remember it when I was notified after the job completion that there would be an inspection. THIS WAS AN IMPORTANT INSPECTION FOR ME. In my case, it wasn't until 9 months later that I presented the report to my insurance company (even though the inspector reminded me I might save a little money) That inspection after presenting it to my insurance company resulted in an  refund of over $500  on my prepaid insurance from last fall (aproximately 25% on a 37 year old house with an already competitive policy), and a reduction in my upcoming insurance of a similar amount. Before the roof wears out, the inspection will have paid for the whole job in less than 14 years on a job guaranteed for 30 years. Is your roofer offering this inspection??

    Trinity Fence & Deck
Installation of stairs for deck was performed on February 19, 2013.  Mike Gonsalves, "owner" of Trinity Fence (now Trinity Fence & Deck), said he'd gather enough composite boards from the decking work he was doing on two decks, and save the remainders for my deck.  He asked me to send a reminder email around July 1, 2013 which I did.  He did not respond.  I forwarded that email on September 15, 2013 with another reminder.  He did not respond.  I forwarded the two prior emails on May 4, 2014 with a third reminder.  He has not responded as of June 10, 2014.  I do not know if he is associated with Trinity Fence in the Dallas, TX metropolitan area, but he advertises in Angie's List monthly booklet (see page A14 of the May 2014 Orlando Area issue) as "Trinity Fence."  Hence my query about any association with Trinity Fence in Dallas, TX.

    Blue Horizons Pools & Spas
Their prices are excellent. They have a good record, I will be very comfortable doing business with them. They are a larger provider, they have more work going on. I feel very comfortable with the gentleman that came, the services they offer and all the brochures he brought. He was very professional. The price was good.
