    They told me that it was unfixable but it ended up being fixable. It has nothing to do with the appliance. When I called the vent people, the dryer started working again. There was one guy and it went very well.

    We wanted to restore our 1934 Steinway M and got quotes from multiple companies. We're glad we chose Mr. Piano Tech. Mike was awesome throughout the whole process. During the quote, he explained the range of options but didn't push stuff on us. He clearly explained which options were aesthetic, what affected the action or sound, and what would affect resale. For example, another company quoted over $20K for the rebuild and insisted on repairing the soundboard and putting a Steinway logo on the board. Mike explained that if we liked the sound right now, we shouldn't repair or replace the board. Either option would change the sound. Even putting the Steinway logo on would require a coating on the soundboard, which would dampen it and change the sound. He said that historically, less than half the Steinways out of the factory have a logo on the soundboard. Mike���s knowledge and flexibility gave us the confidence to choose him for this project. Our rebuild was pretty extensive since the piano had been in an un-air conditioned house on a river before we got it. The cabinet needed major work. During the whole process, Mike kept us updated with pictures and explanations as he made progress. The end result looks and sounds awesome. You can see it on his website because Lorena made us a book to document the restoration. Since the delivery, Mike has been back several times to check on the piano and re-tune it as it settles into its environment. These visits were included in his estimate, and he says he'll do as many as it takes until the tune holds. His attention to detail is great. We clearly made the right choice to trust Mr. Piano Tech for our restoration. We look forward to having Mike take care of our piano for a long time to come.

    Excellent! Chris arrived to my house 45 minutes after I contacted him. He quickly did the repair and everything works perfectly now. This is the second time I've contacted Chris and both times he's done excellent work and had terrific availability. Chris has become my go to guy for appliance repair.

    We have a "high-end" fridge that has made terrible noises since we got it. Lowe's told us to contact the manufacturer for warranty repair. That manufacturer blamed the installer and said there was nothing wrong (sight unseen). We were going nuts because it sounded like the fridge was going to fall apart or explode several times a day. We finally called Ken Garvin based on Angie's List reviews. He tried to talk us through basic trouble shooting over the phone to save us money, but we insisted he come look at it just to be sure. He was able to come by the same day. He found the problem in minutes, and hung around for a couple cycles to make sure it was cured. He also explained everything as he went... very informative and professional. We won't hesitate to use him again if we have other appliance repair issues (or guitar amp questions!).

    First time working with Sunshine and, based on the quick service appointment that we received and the work that Jerry did, Sunshine is now our go-to plumber.
    Installation of our new gas water heater was very challenging and complicated due to space limitations and location of old connections, but Jerry, obviously a very experienced plumber, figured everything out, and we are completely satisfied. Jerry's work is meticulous, with all plumbing neatly and carefully done and with extra-clean job site, plus Jerry was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the new system as he went along, and we were especially impressed with his concern for safety with his checking and re-checking of all gas lines for a leak. We could see that he is a true professional who cares about doing the highest-quality work in an efficient manner, so we feel very lucky that we chose Sunshine for our new system and that Jerry performed the installation.

    Mr. Garvin arrived promptly and proceeded to take apart our ice maker. He replaced the bad part and the unit seemed to cycle properly. However, it still was not making ice. He ended up replacing the water valve, also. This resulted in an addition hundred dollars cost to the initial repair of the ice making unit. He was here for quite a while replacing the water valve. After he was done, not only did the ice maker crank out ice flawlessly, the in-door water dispenser showed greatly increased flow volume. All-in-all, we were very much pleased with the quality of his service and would not hesitate to call him again.

    One day my husband realized that the refrigerator was not cooling and noticed that the freezer items were defrosting. So we made the call to set up an appointment to find out if it was the compressor or something more easily remedied. They were able to come out 2 days later. Unfortunately, Michael from Cornerstone, confirmed that it was the compressor and we should really replace the fridge as soon as possible. He was really professional and helpful to our circumstance.

    Gas appliance owners, do not despair. Dave's Appliance Service is one of the few people who will service your gas appliance in this area. I was very pleased with his service and will use him again when I need help with my gas appliances. I am sure he also does electric appliance repairs.

    Many years ago this company had provided me with a nice refrigerator on an emergency basis and I was very grateful. Two additional times I then went back to them when needing major appliances. Since I had been so happy with their first choice of appliance, I went with their recommendation on my second visit. I had trouble with and disliked the washer/dryer recommendation they had. If I ahd problems, their only response was, "Gee, we haven't heard that. You should contact the company." They had also chosen their top-of-the line product. I gave them one more chance when I moved into a new house and need a washer/dryer and refrigerator.  I had problems with the washer/dryer almost immediately and was referred to the manufacturer, with no assistance from the store. Problems continued. I then had what I thought was a rather strange problem with the washer. I was getting hundreds of little pieces of what looked like crushed leaves in the bottom of the washer, and thus also in my clothes. I called them a couple of times and was told they never heard of such a problem and perhaps I had leaves in my pockets from working in the yard. (Absurd) I finally collected a bag of these pieces and literally drove the 20 miles to the store to show them. The owner just once again said he had never seen such a thing and that they were probably pieces of yard debris from my pockets. I finally saw a commercial about how a residue can form on the outside of the washing drum itself and should try Tide Washer Cleaner.  Since the problem had gone on so long and there was so much debris, I initially used that product 3 days in a row and then rather frequently. The pieces disappeared and I now use the product as directed. Just to think that these people had no clue is amazing!  And, once again, they had recommended the top of the line appliances, the most costly, and I followed their recommendations. (I spent about $3000 on the last 3 appliances listed above.) Also, I had received an email about purchasing an extended warranty that would be honored by the store itself. I purchased it, but then the store said they knew nothing about such  thing and there was no such warranty. I give up! I will NEVER use them again. I am stuck with expensive appliances once again that have not worked well for me and been treated with nothing but disdain and disbelief by Gary Martin.
