    Great! I have been going to Simon Eye for over 13 years. Every time I go there, I have had a good experience. Dr. Brian Gardner is knowledgeable and pleasant, and the staff are always helpful. I have recommended them to my own parents, and they have had very good experiences with Dr. Gardner and Simon Eye also.

    They're convenient. They're located in Delaware in a convenient location. They are not immediately available. Halpern in New Castle County was very good but Halpern in Sussex County was very bad at keeping an appointment. One lady took an appointment and when I went, they didn't even know I had an appointment. She was asking my social security number across the room. She didn't understand the need for privacy. When I was telling her that I can't yell my social security number across the room, she wouldn't understand. I'm not happy with their service. She was not even apologetic. They're definitely not excellent but there is nothing negative also. They are my default choice unless I find somebody better.

    This guy is a fraud and a very poor salesman.  He is so greedy that he artificially inflates his prices if he thinks you might not be paying attention.   What he sold me was not what I wanted or what he said I'd get since he deliberately misrepresented the product to get me to spend more and more money.
    And I woke up one day to find out I was out $700 for 4 eyeglass lenses.  Don't be a sucker. Buy elsewhere........

    • August 2014:  Went for routine exam, requested new prescription for contact lenses.  Physician order two sets of trial lenses.  Asked me to wear each set for one to two weeks before ordering the set that best corrected my vision.

    Third week of August:  Still no contacts.  Explained that I had formal event at end of August to attend.  Did not want to wear glasses.  Promised to order trial pair of lenses correcting nearsightedness to wear night of event.  This never came to fruition.
    September 2014:  Ordered set of contacts that best corrected my vision.  Had empty packet on hand to make sure prescription was correct.  Paid $290 for lenses.  
    October 2014:  Lenses arrived.  Lenses do not correct my vision.  Went back to office to get a refund, which Simon Eye refused to give me.  Insisted that this was my prescription, although my vision was not corrected with these lenses.  Ordered new lenses.
    November 2014:  New lenses arrived.  Still do not correct my vision.
    December  2014:  No lenses to correct my vision.  Simon Eye will NOT refund my money for the original order.  Ordered new lenses.
    January 2015 (third week):  Another set of lenses arrived.  Called to schedule an appointment on Saturday Jan 31.  On the morning of January 31, I called to reschedule the "12:15" appointment.  Simon Eye said they could change to Monday 2/2/15 but I would no longer be able to schedule a Saturday appointment.  I hung up and thought about this.  To confirm, I called back and they said this was the policy.  I said, "Well, I will keep the appointment.  However, I think I should be accommodated considering all that I have been through trying to get lenses."  The clerk at the desk said, "Your appointment is at 2:15."  I said, "Oh, okay.  Then rescheduling is not an issue, because I can make the 2:15 appointment."  I showed up for my "2:15" appointment at 2:00 on 1/31, only to be told that my appointment was for "12:15."  They offered to "let me speak to a customer care rep on Monday."  I feel that speaking to a customer care rep will no resolve anything, as I have already spoken to this person several times over the course of the months.
    In all my years of having care for my vision (since the age of 8), I have never received this kind of service.  I will never return to Simon Eye Associates, and I will not take my children there.  I am really hoping to receive a refund on the contact lenses which were quite expensive that do not correct my vision.  I will be contacting my insurance company on Monday.  Also hoping that my insurance will cover and office visit to another doctor to correct my vision with contact lenses.
    In addition to the contact lens expense, I purchased glasses from Simon Eye for $400.  They are fine and I am very happy with the help I received with the glasses.
    Very frustrated....and the only consolation is to continue to order new contact lenses, make more appointments for me to try them on...very frustrating and very expensive.

    Dr. Wohlhagen gave the most thorough examination that I've ever had on my eyes.  She addressed each of my concerns, giving suggestions and results of her findings.  Not only that but she wrote them down.  I feel that I've found a wonderful doctor and will definitely return.

    This is a very efficient office. After many years with my previous provider who was never on schedule, I was pleasantly surprised by this office. The staff is well trained, friendly and professional. The cataract assessment went quickly without feeling rushed and Dr. Barrett addressed all of my concerns and answered my questions.
    The pre-surgery protocol was presented clearly in an easy to follow format. Dr. Barrett phoned the evening before each surgery to ask if I had any questions.
    The billing options were clearly explained.
    The follow-up visits at 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months were equally smooth. The surgery was a success and I would recommend this practice, especially Dr. Barret to anyone needing cataract surgery.

    I was a new patient and the staff was very friendly when I visited a month earlier to make the appointment. They gave me a copy of all the forms to fill out ahead of time, in order to speed processing on my appointment date. Wait time was about 10 minutes. I had some preliminary eye testing, and then had to wait about 5 more minutes to see th optometrist. She performed a thorough exam, explaining everything as she went along. She told me what her findings were, as well as her recommendations. While I had a slight change in my prescription, I didn't actually need to replace my current lenses, nor did I feel coerced to, even though the office also sells eyeglasses. The people I dealt with on my first visit were friendly, efficient, and thorough, and I do plan to continue care with them.

    Dr. Cristiano is very thorough, such a nice person, and very easy to talk to. It's also very easy to schedule appointments. I had an eye issue previously, and she was able to see me right away. I think she takes very good care of her patients.

    I've been going to Delaware Ophthalmology Consultants for years. I've most recently seen Dr. Abel. He is always very efficient. He gave me lots of good information on how to help my eye floaters. I highly recommend.

    All went well at first but one of the machines wasn't working properly so I had to come back for that test. Then I was told I had to have a surgeon check my eyes because I was close to the limit of not being able to have the surgery. Came back for the appointment and the surgeon actually asked why they had set me up to see him. So that was a waste of money and time.
    Secondly they advertise alternative financing on their website and in the emails they send. But once I was approved for the surgery I asked about the alternative funding because I am in the middle of a divorce and I'm having to clean up my credit report every month. They told me there was only the Wells Fargo credit for the surgery.
    I called the main 800 number and asked about the alternative financing. They said absolutely they had it and took my information and said they would get back to me. Still waiting for the call back!
