    My technician was proficient, and got my computer back. Had Microsoft not given out the "free" upgrade to Windows 10, everything would have been fine. They do not work together. I'll get a new computer in 2020, until then, My Computer Works will keep my computer running smoothly.

    Love this company. Customer service is the best. I signed up to pay a fee each month and am able to reach a tech whenever I call. I just leave a message and someone calls me back within 2 hours. (Sooner if the problem is critical). Their entire staff is wonderful, always eager to help with any problem. I can't give you a price because it depends on the work involved. I found them to be most reasonable and ask them about paying a monthly fee so you can call them when a problem arises.

    I love them. He is the nicest guy. Sean has been to my house many times. I have had alot of phone conversation with him. He is the best. I had and aol was taking over He ad to re-do my email. He charged by the quarter hour. It wasn't a whole heck of a lot. I think it is a standard rate. I have been a customer for a long time. I can't remember; it was under a $100.00. He billed me by the quarter hour. Sean is the guy. He owns the company. He comes out and he knows computers. He just knows everything about computers. Some people are into sports; he is into computers. He just knows everything and he can fix it. Alot of times he can fix it on the spot and which 99 percent of times that has happened, but once in a while he has had to take my unit back to the shop to work on because it was an extensive chang-over or something. He just does everything. He explains everything. He is just very nice, clean. His wife works on the phones, and she is just very nice too. He comes to the house.

    The staff was very friendly and professional. I received my laptop back within a couple of days and the black screen was gone. It also ran much faster than before because they switched out my antivirus program with a better one. Apparently the one I'd had in there had been slowing everything down. I was extremely happy with their service and will definitely go back if I ever have anymore problems with my computer.

    I am a writer and rely on my computer to make my living. Larry came to pick up my laptop on a Friday afternoon and delivered it with all the upgrades on Sunday afternoon. Pick-up and delivery were free of charge. Over the weekend, Larry encountered some problems while installing the software, and each time, he called me to explain the issue(s) and the possible solutions. For one, the original hard drive was too slow for the upgrades. He provided me with a range of options within a range of prices. I elected to purchase a much faster hard drive, and he proceeded with the installation. He called me later to say that he had finished everything but was still getting one error message, so he had to start all over again. This made me anxious, but within half the time, he called me back again and asked, "Are you ready to get your computer back?" I certainly was! He came within the hour and hooked everything back up. He downloaded the most recent versions of programs I had on my PC (eg, iTunes), removed software that was harming my computer (Norton!) and installed his own maintenance/safety software that is programmed to run automatically and alerts him if something suspicious appears. If I have any problems or questions, he has the capability to access my desktop (with my permission), and we can work through the problem.
    In this current business climate, where it is seemingly impossible to find anyone who knows how to do their job, and worse, doesn't care, The Wired Weasel is a breath of fresh air! This is likely because he comes from a generation (like myself) that did not grow up feeling entitled, but working hard to make our way. He is a delightful, professional, knowledgeable service provider with whom I hope to do business with for many years to come.

    Erik persevered when he ran into problems with my machine and kept me apprised of his progress.  He will keep my computer "healthy" in the future by coming to my house every 3 months and checking it.  I am glad to know I have someone to contact if I run into problems.

    I didn't have to unplug my computer and lug it to a store.  The work was completed at my home, at a time convenient for me.  The technician was on time, courteous and efficient.  The work was completed within an hour!  I will definitely call Fastteks again if needed!

    It was clear from talking with the technician that the problem was one with which he was familiar. He described best and worst case scenarios, and asked which types of files I wished saved if the problem required reinstalling the operating system, etc. The repair was effected in the time estimated and for the his lowest cost estimate.

    I had dropped my laptop and when I opened it to see if it was still working, I was very devastated to see my screen looking really crazy and not responding to any input. I had pretty much resigned myself to buying a new laptop, but after a little research on the web, I thought there might be a chance it was just the screen, hoping it wouldn't cost too much for them to just tell me if it was even fixable.  After calling one of the big chain computer repair places, and being told what the diagnostic fees would be and that they would probably have to ship it out for repair, I decided to try and find a local company.  I looked on Angie's List (luckily, I had taken my business laptop home for the weekend) and found Computer Renaissance, and discovered they were open until 6pm (it was a Sunday).  So I got down there about 5pm, and the guy at the counter took one quick look and said it was the monitor screen.  When he said he had one in stock for my laptop, and that he could fix it that day within 30 minutes, I wanted to jump for joy!  I thought for sure that if it was repairable at all, it would take 3 or 4 days at least.  He quoted me $200, which included the part and labor.  While I was on their website, I received a $25 gift certificate for signing up for their newsletter, and the gentleman applied this to my bill, even though I had had no way to print it out!

    My wife works out of the house and she has both a desktop and a laptop and it was the desktop that was giving problems. I think she went online to Angie's List and got the name of somebody in Philadelphia and it's only about a 25 minute drive to Philadelphia so we contacted him. We took the computer to him, he works out of his house and I think he did have to come to our house to hook it back up and check everything. He doesn't drive so I had to go get him, which again the distance was not a big deal. He was very professional and very good and he was pretty prompt. He knows what he is doing and knows what he is talking about. He is efficient and polite and a nice guy. I am sure he doesn't get too many jobs out of Wilmington or out of town where people have to pick him up and take him back home. But again, I didn't mind and the distance was no big deal. He appreciated that and I think my wife was very satisfied. Since then there has been no issues.
