Terrible. The install went fine, but they did not ensure that the necessary building permit got closed at the end of the project. Maybe it was a mistake; not a huge deal. But when I found out it was still open (a few years later) they agreed to help work with the city to close the permit (that they had opened). But then they did nothing. When I repeatedly followed up by phone and email, they refused to respond. Avoid if you don't want hassles and problems with your project.

Every person we dealt with at Swift Services was a true professional, from the owner, who came out right away when we called, to the extremely knowledgeable diagnostician and his apprentice, (we learned A LOT) to the multi-tasking office manager, to the skilled workmen who did our entire installation. Everyone was very pleasant, communication was easy and clear, we got exactly what we wanted, and most importantly, safety is their priority. They also cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. I'm glad I chose Swift Services and will be using them to clean and maintain our system for years to come. Highly recommend.

The experience was not good. We set up the appointment. They first went to the wrong house, eventually they found the house. They went up on the roof and inspected the chimneys, but after several calls I never got an estimate from them. I called them 4 times. They were nice, but not responsive.

Well it would have been less, but we just moved in to the house. instead of just coming in to do the sweep we asked them to also do the inspection, that's what brought the price up. it was still relatively cheap, we compared them to four other companies in the area and they were lower. Now going forward i will only need the cleaning and thats less than half of that. Two people came out to complete the work it took under two hours to two and a half.

We have only been through the inspection (EXTREMELY thorough) and estimate process so far, but the wealth of knowledge shown by both the owner and his expert crew have been invaluable. They REALLY know their stuff. We are looking forward to the next phase in our chimney repair. .

We had a excellent experience from planning the deck, discussing materials, to Mike, Connie and their wonderful family and crew building the deck. Mike and Connie took care of obtaining all necessary approvals from our HOA and getting the building permits. We didn't have to worry about a thing. They work tirelessly for 3 days, (1 day was very raining and cold, and they were still smiling and happy and working away). They never left a messy work area at the end of each day. Everything was neatly organized for the next days work. When the deck was completed the yard was completely picked and clean of any odds and ends of materials from building the deck. Connie even made a Christmas wreath and hung it on our deck railing. (Our very 1st Christmas in our new home, I was really touched). The gate needed a minor adjustment a few weeks after the completion of the deck and Connie had one of the crew out within a day or 2 to make the adjustment. If we ever move and need another deck, my husband I will ONLY use Get Decked. Their workmanship, quality of work, professionalism, happy dispositions are by far above any other decking company we used in the past. We wish Get Decked continued success. Thank you being the wonderful group of people that you are.

I do not think they were professional at all. I had a noise which is gone, but now I have a swish that is in my powder room. They told me they did not take something apart on my chimney. I saw something on my roof and the cap was off and there was a black cylinder sitting on my roof. I want to see how they will follow through and take care of this problem that I did not have until they came to my home in December. I talked to the main man, he said he cannot get to me within two weeks. Awaiting satisfaction.

The guys showed up without a care about the ash door. They insisted upon a $249 inspection, stating they needed a whole picture of our fireplace system. Ok, so they ran a camera up the flue, got on the roof, looked in the attic, etc. Guess what? Even though we have had the chimney cleaned twice in the last five years, Stovepiper is reporting "dangerous" build up of creosote, our chimney cap is too short, the flue is undersized, etc. (For the uninformed, some creosote is a normal result of burning wood. Deposits on the concave mortar joints are a logical build up site.) Stovepiper can cure all of these ills for the everyday low price of $12,000, by rebuilding a "modern" system - fireplace insert, rebuilt firebox, exhaust liner, and so on. IMHO, they came intending to do nothing about the ash dump door, with every expectation to scare us into a system upgrade. They even "advised" us not to use the fireplace until the repairs were completed. I don't think these guys are sweeps or offer chimney repair - a lot like replacement window sales pitches, their real business is fireplace inserts.

Chadds Ford Chimney Sweep just left my house. After a quick glance up there, CFCS representative said that it looked clean and probably fine to use but he couldn't really tell without putting a camera up there. That would cost an additional $200. When I told him that the man on the phone made no mention of any additional inspection costs, he said he heard the same thing from another woman the previous day and he doesn't understand why the man handling the calls doesn't tell potential customers of the full costs involved. He then told me that the bricks in the chimney needed to be parged and it would be $500-1000 to do so but he wasn't sure where in the range it would fall. I asked him if we'd be okay without that being done and he said probably. I told him I wasn't interested in getting that done and he told me the five minute visit where nothing was actually done would cost $95. I wrote a check, disgusted at feeling swindled by the man on the phone and wondering why I'm paying for Angie's List membership when I could find this kind of unreliable service for free on my own.

Burn Clean did a great job. They were friendly, professional and neat. Pete thoroughly explained what needed to be done. The price was very reasonable. I will only use Burn Clean and have already recommended them to others.
