    Used the company for the first time a few weeks ago. Nothing negative to say good price they came out when they said they would fixed my water heater and cleaned up behind themselves.  Took care of other stuff I needed to get done.  Realized they did HVAC and electrical when they were here.  Good to know they do more then just water heaters. I will call them again if I have something else break down. Call them before you call the other guys you wont be disappointed.

    Everything went very smooth from calling in to getting a call when the guy was on his way to a email today asking how everything is working and if I needed anything else.  Its nice to know customers still count with some companies.  Just with the technician explaining what was wrong made me feel at ease and knowing they followed up with me is just icing on the cake.

    Last week I had another hvac company from Smyrna out to service my heater for the season.  While the tech was there he said I had a crack inside my heater and needed to replace my entire thing.  Said I was looking at almost $9 grand!  Holy Crap!  I decided to get a second opinion and my girlfriend recommended Chuck and his wife.  So glad I did.  She was so sweet on the phone, and Chuck came out today and used an actual camera to look inside my unit.  Showed me pics.  SURPRISE, no crack! He said I should start thinking of replacing my unit because of its age and its not running efficient but there is no need to replace it now.  He also finished my tune up because the other company stopped once they said I needed to replace it.  I will only use Chuck and Shirlene from here on out!  Great company!

    Fletchers provided prompt professional service to identify an issue that a competitor could not find. Restoring AC function and taking on the responsibility to process manufacturer warranty which will allow for permanent resolution. They were at the property within the hour on a holiday weekend and took steps to minimize peak call out charges. I've used them for years for plumbing and will now do the same for HVAC.

    New install at a rental home 12 hours from my location. We've needed multiple service calls within a year. Each time refrigerant has to be added, yet they insist there is no leak and charge for the refrigerant, all the while saying it's the filters (obviously not). They also have no answering service only an answering machine that seems never to be checked. I finally called a professional provider (Fletcher's) who went out within an hour on a holiday weekend. Shockingly the found evidence of a leak that Air Quality couldn't or wouldn't find.

    The technician arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and was very courteous.  He was careful to put on shoe coverings so he didn't track dirt through my house.  We had to have our heater inspected after having an electrical issue, and the technician listened to my concerns and made sure to check everything to be sure that the heater was safe.  He changed the filter as requested (The B grade for price comes into play here.... filter was priced at $55 while another company has the same filter for $40.  It was just easier to have it done all at the same time.).  He did find a problem with a part and brought it to show me and took the time to explain what the problem was and informed me that he did have the part on and asked if I wanted to have it done. After he completed the work, he took the time to go over the invoice and explain all that had been done and the results of his inspection.

    About a week later the AC unit was not functioning properly and I called them back out.  They discovered at this second appointment a part needed to be replaced and they were able to replace it on that visit.  They did charge me extra for this part and it was inconvenient to have to have them come back out.  Then, we would have have them out in November to repair our furnace, but they informed us it would take 2 days to get a service tech out.   I called them back after a different company could come out within 20 minutes and they refunded the service contract total. Their professionalism was ok but I got the impression that I wasn’t a very important customer to them.

    His attitude was great. He was able to immediately diagnose the issues with the air conditioner and fixed issues above and beyond a normal service. He was very clean and came into the house to fix my thermostat as well.

    For each call without exception, a live person answered, was courteous, and worked with me unitil a service appointment could be set up. All appointments were within 24 hours of my call, except for the air filtration system, which was not urgent.. Each time, the service tech arrived on time, always calling when he was on his way to make sure I was home and to give me an estimated time of his arrival. Each time, the technician worked quickly, and quietly, made minimal mess, and cleaned up after himself so well that no one could tell that work had been done. Each time, the technician accurately diagnosed the problem, and was able to fix it completely at that visit, unless a part had to be ordered. When they did not have the necessary parts on the truck, they went to a nearby supply house to purchase them, returned promptly, and completed the job. I have not had to call them back to redo any work; the quality of their work is high, some of the best I have seen in the last few years. That being said, the cost of their work, before adding in the cost of the parts, takes my breath away at $80.00/hour. This seems staggering to me-- I am a retired teacher who, after 35 years of teaching in the public schools made about $28.00/hour at my highest.. The only part of the job that exceeded the estimate was the time it took to complete a couple of jobs. It is impossible to predict how long a job will take until the expert comes out and looks at the situation. So, a couple of jobs that Fletcher's did for me actually took longer than expected; however, I fail to see how that could have been avoided. I am satisfied that the technicians worked conscientiously and consistently until the job was done, However, Fletchers is worth the price. I get quality work from highly skilled technicians, and usually same- or next-day service. I have never asked for a specific person; whoever comes out to do the work has always done an excellent job, regardless if it was the son of the owner or others. I have always had an outstanding experience with this Smyrna company; I am more than surprised to hear strong negative remarks from other customers!

    I have used this company twice before for plumbing jobs, and was extremely pleased with the results. When I needed to stop fine lint and dust particles from blowing through the house, and in general, improve the air quality, I called their duct- cleaning department. Brian, the third Fletcher generation to work in the business, came out to evaluate the system and work up an estimate. I was amazed at the extensive knowledge this young man has already acquired. He gave me a detailed description of my system and explained exactly how and why there were problems. Then he recommended certain upgrades to the air filtering unit, all of which would solve my problems. Each of the models he proposed had extra features, which would enhance their performance as well as the cost, Brian made no attempt to influence my decision. No pressure. He had given me enough information that I could confidently make a choice that would work best for me. Brian's knowledge is extraordinary; he explained everything so well that a layman could easily understand. On the day for installation, Brian and his assistant arrived exactly on time. They started work immediately and did not stop until they were done. It was one of the most efficiently carried-out jobs I have had. When he was finished, Brian showed me what they had done, showed me how to operate the new unit, and also how to switch back to the old filter system if I ever wanted to. When they were finished, Brian and his assistant cleaned up thoroughly. The same thing happened each time one of Fletcher's plumbers came out, so this has to be a company standard. This company reflects what people have traditionally looked for in a family-owned business: personal attention, extensive and detailed knowledge; experience; fair pricing. In my family, only my cat Nicky had a problem; he did not appreciate the drilling and hammering during his morning nap time.
