    Deceptive Company!! Home owners beware, absolute con-artists! So I called Marc Anthony for an AC blowing out warm air while i had friends using my beach home while i was offsite at my permanent residence. In a nutshell, Jordan from Marc Anthony Services showed up to look at the problem. Jordan instructed my friend to call me to tell me I needed a new compressor or outside air conditioner. He explained that i ran out of refrigerant and due to this the compressor had seized. The compressor was $2200, or new AC was $2900-$3500, not counting labor. Feeling pressured with my friends in the heat, I told him to go on with the new AC which came along with a 10 yr warranty and the compressor had to be ordered which could take a few days. After the phone call, not feeling secure with the decision, I called a few friends in the business. They basically told me this was impossible for this to happen. I called back and cancelled the order and called for a second opinion with Eastern Air. Eastern Air showed up a couple days later to tell me the compressor is fine and the capacitor was bad. A $62 fix!!! They went on to check the refrigerant level which was non-existent according to Jordan. Eastern Air told me I was practically full with refrigerant and didn't even need to be recharged with more coolant. All in all, Marc Anthony Services was trying to be deceptive and tried to take advantage of a situation since the home owners weren't the ones in the residence. This company should be locked up for what they tried to do in trying to swindle thousands of dollars for something that wasn't even broken. I would avoid Marc Anthony services for any of your home needs. They try to take advantage of vulnerable people and are completely deceptive in their practices. You have been warned! Be very careful with these crooks.

    Just an FYI. I purchased a service contract from Artic through Angie's List. Sent them two messages via Angie's List including phone number, location and dates for service. Never received a reply to the messages nor a phone call. Contacted Angie's List twice. They were very helpful. They even contacted Artic who said they would call me immediately. Nothing. After 2 weeks I finally canceled the contract. Angie's List refunded the money immediately so no problems there. THEN 4 days later I heard from Artic via a message asking me to call them. Did not. I heard good things about Artic. My F is for response to a new customer. Was not happy with their professionalism in never contacting me.

    Our 12 year old Central AC unit burnt out and needed replacing. We contacted our current service company for an estimate to replace. The sales rep showed up with three estimates prepared that exceeded our budget. We went on Angie's List and noticed that First Class had very good ratings so we contacted them for an estimate. The sales representative for First Class Service was Duane who showed up on time and after looking at our unit reviewed all of our options with us, including repairing our existing unit. We discussed our budget for the project and based on that, Duane prepared 3 estimates (best, good and budget) for our consideration. The estimates were less than provided by our service company and the warranty was for 12 years. We also were able to use a Angie's list coupon to save an additional $500, so it was an easy decision. Installation went well. The two technicians Cameron and Matt showed up on time and did a great job. Our new system works great and so far we are very happy with it!

    It was an emergency call so I had to pay a little extra. We have used them in another location. They came out when they said they were going to. They were dependable. I'm not sure if they're inexpensive. It was a Sunday and my air conditioner quit running on my so I needed somebody right away and they did come. I thought their pricing was probably okay and the technician was pleasant.

    They made arrangements with the realtor of the seller to obtain the key, arrived on time and did the diagnostic for me. They called me from the home to let me know there findings and charged me the amount that they said it would cost. Very easy and convenient. 
    The staff in the office that made my appointment was helpful and the technician that called me was professional.

    Custom Mechanical gave us an estimate, stuck to the price, delivered the equipment and installed it when they said they would and has provided us will an excellent service policy.  We are delighted with the new furnace and with Custom Mechanical's professionalism and knowledge.

    Service technicians arrived on time and worked in a professional manner.  It took most of the day to complete the removal of the existing system and installation of the new systems.  Because it was late when they finished there was not much time to review using the newly installed thermostat.   We had to resort to using the "Not Too User Friendly" operating manual and also calling upon Custom Mechanical staff later that week to answer questions not found in the operating booklet. 



    Around May 23 we attempted to use the AC system (the first time after installation) and found that the unit was not cooling.  A technician arrived early the next morning and found broken wiring at the module mounted to the furnace.  This was repaired and the system was checked to assure proper operation.



    We have had a long term relationship with Custom Mechanical and have always been satisfied with their technicians - Chad is our favorite for doing our service and maintenance.  He arrives on time (or calls), is pleasant and professional and a darn good technician.  



    My only suggestion to Custom Mechanical is that they make an effort when they sell a new system to contact the customer within a few weeks to say Thanks for Your Business and to assure that the customer does not have any questions re the new system and its operation.  I think this is a great way to let the customer they are important!

    Misled me by estimating Freon needed in my AC unit as "could be 2 or 3 lb's there's no way of telling." Then put in 11 lb's. Gouged me on the price per lb. R.E. Michael hvac dist. sells R22 Freon for appox.$16.65 a lb. wholesale. Blades charged me $90.00 a lb.,that's over 500%. When I asked if they had fixed, what had to be a very large leak, I was told that that would be an additional $500.00. This was after they filled it. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau ( claim # 9533555 ), if you would like to see a more detailed description.... DECEPTIVE ESTIMATE, PRICE GOUGING, INCOMPETENCE. If they do not answer my claim with the B.B.B. my next step is small claims court to get my money back. SENIOR'S BEWARE.

    They are fantastic! We have been working with this company for a few years now and will continue to use. They also replaced the boiler central air unit last year and it well very well also. They are very responsive!! Always willing to help us with anything we need.
    They are branching out into landscaping also. Hihgly recommend!!!

    We called several companies the day after Memorial Day weekend. Fields was the only one that would come out the same day (of course it was already 90 degrees!!). They gave us an appoximate time and then called when they were on their way. The technican Tim was great. He was personable and definitely seemed to know what he was talking about. He spent time researching everything that could possibly be wrong. He cleaned all filters. The Freon level was low so he added some. No problems since. We were happy with the cost considering the time he spent at our house. He also explained in detail how the system should work, what could possibly go wrong in the future and what we can do to keep the system like new. Thankful to have a Heating/Air company that we feel we can trust to not "find" things wrong just to jack up the cost. Highly recommend.
