Not well at all. I'm not hard to please, I just want what I paid for. The contractor refused to do the job saying that my driveway was bigger than the square footage I paid for and that I would need to pay $73.00 more. The service I paid for was up to 1,000 sq. ft. and my driveway is 24' x 38' and a little jog in the driveway is 4' x 11'. This is 956 sq. ft. where I learned math. He pulled his guys and refuses to do my driveway now. However, Angie's list paid him already. For a service that wasn't done yet! and now I have no recourse. He has my money and Angie's List's response is "Sorry about your luck". Pavement Management of Coatesville, PA and Angie's List - my advice is stay away from both of them. Angie's List will not support you if you have an issue. This guy could have come to my house and took a crap on my front step and I have no recourse - he's been paid already!

Came out right away because my old alarm was chirping and driving me nuts. Was prompt, nice, very patient bc there were a few logon issues (my issue nit his). Very affordable I'm comparison to other quotes. Will use again.

Went very well. I am satisfied with the work and would hire them again. Have already referred them to others. Both Darryl and Josh are enjoyable to work with and communicate well. They also make suggestions for better look and functionality. An example would be changing out the current rubber hose used for ice maker with a copper line.

Abe claimed only 1/4 of the list could be done in 8hrs time and was only interested in handling the siding issue. I left the house at 8am and returned at 1pm to find the work had been finished, so he was basically paid for less than 4hrs worth of work on an 8 hour special. I would be willing to accept that if it weren't for the fact that he used obviously used materials but charged for new ones. To make matters worse, an energy auditor that audited the house a few months later commented that whomever had put up my siding didn't install it with any backing for the siding (Tyvek). A directional wind would allow rain or snow to get inside the house due to the obvious short cut with the siding. Well months later the siding became loose and was flapping in the wind which made a tremendous amount of noise. I called Abe back and asked him to please correct this situation. He said he would come out the next day to look at it and never showed up. This went on for weeks until I threatened to call Angie’s List customer service to complain. He finally stopped by late one evening on his way from another job. I pointed out the flapping siding he had previously installed and also advised him the auditor told me there was no backing to the siding he had installed. I expected excuses and denial but what I did NOT expect was for him to say someone had stolen the nail used to hold the siding in place and then he blamed the auditor for taking it! I told him that was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! Why would someone put a ladder up to my house, and climb on the garage roof to steal one nail? I also advised him the auditor was never on that side of the exterior of my home, All his work was done inside my home so how could he have stolen a nail from the outside and what possible reason would he have for doing so? Abe just kept mindlessly repeating the nail had been stolen. What ticked me off even more is I live within a few minutes of several home improvement stores. The time we spent arguing about an imaginary stolen nail could’ve been spent going to the store to purchase a new nail and banging it in place, in addition to saving his reputation. I stood there in disbelief as he pulled off never to return while my siding continued to bang noisily in the wind. Needless to say I had to hire a different contractor to undo all of his inferior work and complete the job correctly. AB Contracting is a prime example of why people hate to hire contractors to do much needed work in their homes. The only reason I hired them was due to good reviews on Angies List. Good help really is hard to find. Thanks a lot Abe.

Arrived a little late Removed powder room sink, tried to put in peristal but it was a few inches too long. Said they would come back to finish and for me to just call them. They did remove and install the kitchen faucet. Got the sink the next day, tried to reschedule and left several messages, but never received a return call, the number started being busy all the time. Be careful with this company, because of my past experience with contractors, before I purchased the deal from Angie's List I called them to be sure they would do the work I wanted. They assured me they would, but they encouraged me not to buy the deal thru Angie to purchase with them and they would give me the same deal. Because I had them on he phone I said ok. So thru no fault of Angie's List this happened. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

We absolutely loved his work!  He completed everything efficiently and even brought in help to ensure the project was done on time.  We had pulled him off his original project to do a couple odds and ends and he did it with a smile on his face.  He even taught us how to do a few things for the future!  For example, we were going to throw some chairs away.  He took them from us and in two seconds, they were fixed!  We didn't think they were salvageable. I highly recommend him!

I had a schedule appointment and they never showed up or called me. I left four messages and nothing. I finally called again and got someone and she confirmed my appointment twice and said that the handyman was sick, apologize over and over again, and said that someone will call me back that day. And again, no phone call. At this point, I become upset because I take time off from work and my time is as valuable as their. I'm sure it is not the first time someone became ill so why would they not have some type of procedure where you at least call your customers and say that he will not be able to make it. I could have work on getting someone else or doing some other things this day. Things happen and I understand that and ultimately, if you do not want my business for what ever reason, I can understand that too but at least say so and I can move on. But when I finally reach someone and to still not have someone come by or get a phone call back is unequivocally, disrespectful and unprofessional.  Unfortunately, throwing the word sorry around causes it to lose its power and makes me think that you never did value my time or business. But I'm only one customer so I guess it really doesn't matter much.

Brian was on time.  I like that he assesses the problems first and then tells me what he can do.  He even went shopping with me to pick out the right types of faucets.  I highly recommend him to others.

Joe contacted us immediately after receiving our email.  He was more than happy to help and did an excellent job in assembling everything diligently and with care.  He was extremely cordial and was an absolute pleasure to do business with.  We highly recommend Joe's services and will continue to do business with him in the future!

The projects took a few days (with time in between due to a holiday and weather) but the results are beautiful. He knew what he was doing and was not bothered by kids or dog. Worked with us and used supplies we had already purchased for the jobs and gave guidance about what else was needed. Did not try to talk us into additional services, only what we really needed. Would definately use again!
