I recently reported a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania regarding: 1. Although it is mandated by HIPPA, they will not release my Medical Records to me, after 3 requests, nor to a new dermatologist, after 3 requests. 2. A gel called Actnic Keratosis, that had their own label on it, was sold to me at an unknown price. I was instructed to use it after a procedure to remove some type of facial cancer at weeks two through four. I had to stop using it after nine days because the lesion was not healing and was producing green/yellow pus. 3. I could not find the gel on the Internet, nor did the new Dermatologist know what it was. They had Private Labeled some type of gel which is possibly illegal and deceitful. 4. None of their receipts provide a breakdown of what you are paying for whether it is a Co-pay or a product. 5. They sold me a sun tan lotion guaranteed to be better than anything on the market. However, I got badly burnt on my face and chest after applying it correctly, before being in the sun and an hour after being in the sun. They are refusing to allow me to return it.

    Balin, Dr. Arthur K.
The work was excellent. I was treated with a cream and every other day I'm changing the dressing, prescribing antibiotics and getting some cultures. He referred me to a hospital wound care center. He's extremely informed and intelligent. He has certifications and his staff is well trained, professional and responsive. We have been his patient since 1980.

    Crawford, Dr. Glen
It has gone very well. I am confident that Dr. Crawford has my interest as his primary concern and that he has given me the appropriate treatment. I can get appointments easily and seldom have to wait long when I get there. He is personable and his staff is very good.

    Solotoff, Dr. Stephen A.
I have been to the office twice now, and on both visits, I was ushered in within minutes of my scheduled appointment, and only waited a few minutes in the exam room. The exams were thorough, and Dr. Solotoff explains as he goes through the exam, alerting you to things you should know so you can do your own self exams between visits. He has excellent bedside manner, is polite, friendly and keeps you at ease. His staff is equally friendly and professional! This is truly an A+ experience in every aspect! First Time Tips: The office is inside a primarily residential building, so ask in advance about parking and access, as the lot / entrance can be confusing. They do not take credit or debit cards as payment. So if you have a healthcare plan with a some type of debit card, you'll need to request payment to the provider (or make it yourself and request reimbursement).

Dr. Hsu informed me the cyst would likely fill up again but insurance would not pay for complete removal. However, I have not noticed any recurrence.

I have gone to a previous dermatologist who told me I was overreacting and I went to them and they biopsied not the place along the side of the lump that I had found, but they biopsied the actual lump which seems to be revolutionary. I don't know why the other dermatologist chose not to but I do know why he didn't find the cancer because he didn't biopsy the cancer that I pointed out to. They did actually biopsy the cancer and I had surgery to remove it before it became more serious. I thought that was probably a pretty good idea to treat the ailment instead of treating a perfectly healthy area. They did a really Advance Mohs Surgery which is an acronym that basically has to do with continuously shaving a little bit of the spot until they get to a place where the examination under the microscope shows that everything that they shaved the last time was cancer free so we know they got it all. They take more than they have to but they don't take any less than they should. It's a really good process. He sewed me up and you wouldn't know I even had a hole. I was really impressed. I had to stay there all day but it was really good. The billing was fine. I see them quarterly. They recommended that to make sure that we stay on top of any other possible outbreaks or problems.

She is excellent! Her scheduling is very precise, as in the office calls in advance for appointments. She is very punctual and explains everything carefully. She is very personable and provides follow up if necessary.

I got to the office yearly, and I was taken straight back to the examining room. I did not have a long wait before the Doctor came in the talk with me. I would differently go back there again.

    Solotoff, Dr. Stephen A.
I had an annoying rash on my arm for several months, my primary physician prescribed a lotion, but with limited success. A friend suggested Dr. Solotoff whose prescription worked within a week's time. Dr. Solotoff is rather busy, but when I mentioned that the rash was really starting to itch, his office managed to make an appointment for me within two days. I must say that Dr. Solotoff is very professional, cordial, and caring--exactly the ingredients you want in a doctor. Thank you Dr. Solotoff.
