They did a very good job with the gutters. I actually referred to other painting on the porch. That not so much, he was too busy for that. For what they advertise for, yes. They did a very good job. I paid more because it was more than what they advertised. It was $699 for a certain amount of gutters but I had a longer amount. They were fair with price.

They were also my home builder. The roof was under warranty, so there was no charge. They were very responsive. I have been there for a couple of years and you get a one year home warranty. It was beyond that, but I had one other problem with the roof in the same general area, and they fixed it. I would consider this a follow up even though this was a different section that they fixed.

They were fine. There is nothing they could do to improve. The job is not done at this point, I am just waiting for them to follow up. If it is under warranty, I would use them again.

It went great. I called Mr. Donahue and he was able to come out, give me an estimate and complete the work within a week. Mr. Donahue replaced my flooring and I have already hired him for another project, an all season room. He also adjusted several windows with no charge, He was always punctual and very easy to deal with. His employees were all professional. Highly recommend!

At the outset it appeared that the primary source of the leak was coming from an area of the roof where an air vent/stack was also located so the roof shingles/underlayment surrounding the air vent/ stack/were replaced with new shingles and underlayment. Additionally the flashing of the air vent/stack was checked and determined to be in good condition so at that time this was not considered to be a source of the leak but as a precaution the area was re-caulked. It was suggested that I inspect the area after the next rainfall. In doing so, unfortunately I did see some rain drops. Notified Empire and a roofer was dispatched to investigate and after some additional trouble shooting surmised that the rain could also be running down through the aluminum air vent/stack entering through a hole so small (pin hole) that it was not readily visible to the human eye. Rather than telling me that air vent/stack be replaced, the roofer suggested that he would first try applying a type of silicon (it would have to be specially ordered) made for this type of situation. The special ordered silicon was applied to the entire height of the air vent/stack protruding through the roof . Since the application of the silicon...after nearly three months and several heavy rainfalls there has not been one drop of rain. Bottom line; Any and all individuals that I had contact with from Empire, ranging from the customer service reps, to the roofer(s)/installer(s) were courteous and easy to work with. Also, noteworthy that Empire did not seek additional monies and stood by their initial quote to repair the roof.

We had a very specific and detailed design that we were hoping to achieve and Roberts Property Management exceeded all of our expectations. We tend to be perfectionists and they were very patient and accommodating with our requests. They definitely want to do good work and satisfy their customer. We would use them again for any remodeling and highly recommend them. Our house looks fantastic!

Since the repair was completed 5 months ago we have encountered some very heavy rain storms with no signs of leaks.  Mike used dropcloths and ensured everything was cleaned up after his work each day.  Very professional work!

Subsequent rains revealed the leaks were still occurring.  Follow-up phone messages were not returned.   I stopped payment on the check after two months had passed without being cashed - perhaps lost in the mail.  I obtained another contractor to fix the leak.

    Hire him.
We spent a long time looking for someone to do our deck/porch. In "lower slower Delaware," that meant meeting some interesting characters. We were pulling our hair out. Some of them clearly did not understand the complexity of the roof-line for fitting the porch to the existing home. Some could not show up sober. Then we saw the logo on Phil's truck when he was replacing the roof on Ocean View Liquors, on Cedar Neck Road. We called. He showed up, understood the project we proposed, prepared a very competitive bid, and delivered on every promise he made. Excellent work, creative and flexible thinking, prompt, and honest. We recommend him to everyone.
The porch/deck project was in 2007. The next year, one of our parents had a bad roof leak on a rotting rubber roof. People gave us crazy estimates on the work. We called Phil. Job done. Reasonable rate. Hooray. Then our own roof leaked at the dormer flashing. Called Phil. Perfect work, and a perfect pleasure to work with. All of that is pre-2010. Now we have a leaking roof vent (pipe?). (What is it with the builders out here?!!). I couldn't find Phil's contact information anywhere, and I thought he had moved. I had to hire someone else. Big. Mistake. They have supposedly "fixed" the problem twice. But their "fix" is so awesome that I now have to replace drywall. Meanwhile, I rediscovered Phil's contact info. (Oh thank God.) Bottom line: I don't want anyone else working on my roof out here, ever again, and I won't use or recommend anyone else until Phil retires.
Seriously, if you are in the Ocean View / Bethany Beach / Millsville / Fenwick area and you need roofing repair, Phil Deeck is the man you want doing the work.

I cannot say enough good things about David Byler.  Working with him was a great experience.  He was pleasant, professional, polite and always willing to go out of his way to be helpful.  I am very thankful I found his name along with great reviews on Angie's List.  I would definitely call him again for any future work I may need on my house..
