  • Called yesterday morning and left a message with their service - stated it was an emergency and was told I'd hear back from somebody right away and I'm still waiting. Fortunately I hired another Angie's List provider who called me right back and got to my house last night.

  • They come out 4 times a year. We have a contract. They’re not doing any spraying. They plug up holes and stuff like that. I think their price is good. The quality is very good and the person who does it is very nice, polite and professional. They’re very responsive. They come right on time. They check all around. They have little boxes they put out here. I’d say it takes them about half an hour to 45 minutes. They’re very responsive and acknowledgeable. I don’t want them to spray in the house so they don’t. I think they do some spraying outside. They also wear booties when they are inside checking their little boxes.

  • We had a new concrete driveway installed in an area that used to be sandy, and within 2 weeks, one of our plumbers (who was under the house installing a new hose bib right next to the driveway) came out crawling with ticks, which have never been a problem in our yard or house.  I saved one of the ticks to give to the Agricultural Extension agent who came out the next day, he took it to their lab, and their staff identified it as a juvenile male dog tick.  Last time we had a dog outside was two years ago, but you can read stories everywhere about ticks burrowing into sand to lay eggs that can remain dormant for years, hatching and emerging only with a disturbance.  Like excavation for a new driveway, for example.
Brassure's came out right away and proposed a monthly spray around the perimeter of the house, emphasizing areas around the new driveway and just under the edge of the house. Each month, the technician came to the house on time, stopped to warn us about keeping kids indoors or away from sprayed area, then treated the house exactly as described. Every month went the same way, these guys were good. No unexpected disruptions, always quick, efficient, professional.  And they knew their stuff, too. We talked about the nearest vegetation (phragmites) being too far from the house to be an ongoing source of ticks, and they knew exactly how to limit their service (to the perimeter of the house) to be effective. We talked about the deer that frequent the area, and how deer ticks would not have the right habitat to encroach on our yard.
We never had another recurrence of ticks, of any kind.
I would use this service again in a heartbeat.  Be educated, know what you want, tell them what you need, and Brassure's will do the job.  Great service, great experience.  Highly recommend.

  • There was no charge since it was less than a year since we had had the original termite treatment. In addition they consulted with us about some ants we had found and said that once the damp wood was replaced there would not be a problem with the ants. So they did not recommend that their company do any treatment for the ants.

  • We paid the $425 for an inital treatment, and were in contract for 3 more treatments at $125 each. The service was finished in November. They called us for 3 months after the treatments trying to set up an additional treatment. I told them were were finished with our treatment contract but we may do preventative treatment in the Spring. This continued through February. They billed us for 3 months we didn't receive treatment. I called the company to let them know of this error and ask for a refund of $375. They had me speak with the owner's son Mike. He told me I had to contact him to stop treatment in writing. When I called in before no one ever told me writing was needed they only confirmed my contract was completed. Mike agreed he would refund me the $375 even without a written notice because he could not charge me for services not received. Mike did not proccess my refund, he said I needed to sign a contract for a spring treatment first. Mike finally agreed to just refund me. I checked in March, not only did he not refund me but there was another charge. The charges now totalled $500, but Mike would only refund for $375. He said they came out to our home but no one way home so they sprayed the outside of the house. We were never notified or aware of them coming out and you can't treat bedbugs from outside. When they called each time I explicitly  told them we did not want treatment. I had to contact my credit card companyto dispute the charges. Mike called me upset because the credit card company charged $500, I tried emailing him back, when I did talk to him on the phone he was so angry I told him to just email me. He did finally issue a credit of $375, which did show up on my account. I told him I still wanted the $125, I finally did receive it. After the fact, Mike then started sending me collection bills for $500 charge back fees and other fees on top of that. My credit card company confirmed they gave him back the $500 that had been pending so I did not know anything to him. Mike stated the credit card company took $375 plus $500 out of his account. If any issue still exists this would be between Mike and the credit card comany. I am pretty sure the credit card company doesn't owe any money to him.

  • If you have a service contract with them, they will come out for just about anything when you have a problem. They've taken care of mice, ants, moths, and other pests. I really like them. They go above and beyond and will even leave extra pesticide for us to use in case we notice anything. They will spray around the perimeter of our home, but they are very conscientious of our pond so not to get pesticide in the water, just to make sure our fish aren't harmed. They are great to work with and don't try to nickel and dime you like other services.
