  • I am a new patient to Dr. Brown and although he is quick and doesn't spend much time with his patients, he doesn't try to fix something that is not broken.  He is very old but I do believe that this is a good thing because he is very experienced and does his job well. I went to his office initially for a crown. When they went to put in my new crown, it didn't fit.  I had to come back and the second time. This did not bug me because I don't believe that this issue had anything to do with Dr. Brown's office.  I have also had a cleaning and a check up at his office.  If you get the hygienist that likes to work backwards by brushing and flossing first, ask her kindly to follow the normal procedure because you will be left with lots of debris in your mouth afterwards.  His assistant has the best bedside manner that I have ever seen. He is so kind and supportive.  Overall, I appreciate that Dr. Brown's honesty.  If you want a dentist that will only fix things that actually need fixing and doesn't want you just for your wallet, this is your guy!

  • This is update to my 2012 review of Grady Dental Group. My husband had major dental surgery performed by Grady dentist - Dr. David Hayward - after my earlier review. The result of the work by Dr. Hayward has been years of pain and expense with subsequent attempts by multiple dentists to correct and control abscesses and serious problems from teeth beneath cantilevered bridge work performed by Dr. Hayward. Each dentist who examined my husbands mouth after Dr. Hayward was amazed at the poor work. An oral surgeon in NewYork State offered help with how we could report this terrible dental experience to professional dental overviewers. My husband had told Dr. Hayward the bridge was not correct and very painful. He returned to the practice for adjustment with no success. We moved from Georgia in 2014 with continual discomfort in the bridge area and lived in two states. Subsequent dentists and two oral surgeons were required to cut out the very expensive bridge, remove diseased teeth below bridge, attempt repair of teeth connected to bridge and finally my husband was left with additional pain and expenses including removal of teeth, an upper denture and need for implants to support this denture. .A family member had similar dental work performed by Dr. Hayward. She had to go to an oral surgeon in Johns Creek to remove the bridge and correct damage - with multiple dental implants required. Our basic dental work performed by Dr. Grady was fine, but all work performed by Dr. Hayward was a disaster!

  • It was awful.  I took a day off of work which was a big mistake.  From the moment I sat in the chair Dr. Perim seemed like he saw dollar signs.  He talked about everything from growing bone, orthodontics, and graphing my whole bottom line of gums.  He tried to sell me nightguards for $175 a piece ($350 for the pair).  He started talking about payment plans and how he could stretch the treatments over several insurance years.  He even gave me a copy of his book.  He said that he would mail me a consultation after he did a pre-determination with my insurance company and I never received it.  All I received was a bill for $90.  I wouldn't recommend him to anybody.  He seemed like more of a salesman rather than a doctor that truly cared about his patients.

  • It's not frequently that we've had to use him but all family members have used him at one time or another. Very nice. Very quick. Professional. When you go in there, he does his job. He takes good care of you. Good followup. I had to go in for an evaluation about a lump. He was kind enough to tell me it was just a salivary gland. In the chair and out, no charge. He's a really nice guy.

  • Check in and administrative work was handled very effeciently. The staff did a great job keeping the process going in a very relaxed manner. Dr. Aloe reviewed the x-rays and information from my dentist, ran further tests and confirmed the need for a root canal procedure. The procedure was thoroughly explained, decided on, and performed.  Things went fairly smoothly. I was handed a printed sheet with instructions, and things to look for, expect, and home treatments to assist in healing. I was given contact information should any need arise.  Everything in the procedure and in the healing process after was just as it was explained.
