    Very impressed with the overall service provided by Expert Wire. I had a problem with 3 outlets which were not working. Our electrical box was the original one from the 1970s and knew we probably needed to have it changed. I initially contacted their office on a Friday to schedule an appointment for early the following week. I got a live person on the line and she was very cordial, professional and helpful. We scheduled the appointment for Monday morning which was excellent! The tech contacted me 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He showed up when expected. He was very knowledgeable. He explained and showed me the issues. What he proposed made sense - changing the box. He gave me a price which was right in line with the price range I’d determined during my research. He was very organized and completed the work. He explained and showed me the finished work. He was very neat, wearing booties over his shoes. I’m very happy with not only the work, but the overall process of working with Expert Wire. I highly recommend them!

    5 Stars. Matt K and Brian G came out and gave me an initial quote to do extensive wiring of my renovated basement. They followed up by completing the rough-in, and final installation of receptacles, lights, and smoke detector. They were courteous to a fault, answered all my question, made sure they understood what I wanted, and made suggestions for improvement. The final bill was in line with other quotes that I got. I am pleased with the entire experience, and would recommend Expert Wire to anyone needing electrical work.

    My family planned to spend Easter vacation at our beach house in Delaware. When we arrived at our house, we walked into an electric nightmare. Both our stove and refrigerator were not working and the electric was whacky, unable to turn lights on or keep the TV on without tripping breakers. I did a search and contacted Expert Wire. Service was great from beginning to end! Andrea was the first person I was in contact with from the office. She was professional, informative and dispatched an electrician to our house promptly. Our service technician was Dave. He troubleshooted the issue and explained things in a way we could understand. We had to wait until the electric company could come out which wasn't until the the next morning (Andrea also assisted in contacting them). Dave was back out with 2-3 other technicians and fixed the issue. Dave kept us informed throughout the whole process. He was very professional, informative, polite and respectful. We have additional work to be done and will be using Expert Wire for this work. Andrea and Dave were easy to work with and were helpful in getting us quotes for this ongoing work. I highly recommend Expert Wire!

    We purchased a new home and noticed that the front porch lights did not work and the hallway light fixture acted strange in some 3-way switch configurations. I called Shore Electric and Doug came out and troubleshot and fixed the problem with a faulty wired switch within 20 min. He also advised that I get new switches in kitchen to control new LED bulbs I was installing. Very professional and I highly recommend.

    Installers arrived on scheduled date and time. I was never inconvienced by the work performed. Unit tested and one on one instructions given to my husband and myself after job was completed.     The work was performed quickly and efficiently. High Point has done a wide variety of work for our company. From house renovations to outside kitchens. All their work has been very clean and neat. They are personable and a pleasure to have on any job site. Will himself is very conscience and knows more about codes then most inspectors.     I requested an estimate to replace a condenser fan motor and was told that they would not provide an estimate over the phone, even though I had the part number and the air conditioner make, model and serial number.  They gave me a date close to 2 weeks later for the estimate, with a  5 hour window.  The representative arrived and said I needed a replacement fan.  Only after I repeated the motor had become stuck, the rep said I needed both a fan and new condenser motor.  I was already aware of pricing for the motor, about $65  for after market, and $80 for a new, OEM fan, about $145.00 total.  The estimates for the repairs were $624 for after market parts, and $704 if I wanted to replace with all OEM parts.    I asked the rep to re-check the prices since it seemed very expensive, almost $500 for installation, described as less than 1 hour for an a/c tech to complete.  I was told those were the correct prices off their price sheet, and I declined to have them do the repairs. I was then charged a "Diagnostic" fee of $89.00 minus the Angies List coupon of $25.00 for a final price of $64.00 .  I mentioned the Angies List information for First Class indicated "Free Estimates" but was told it only applies for estimates for a complete replacement system, not repairs or replacing parts.
    I am very disappointed with First Class. I had used them last year for an a/c tune up, and the price was very reasonable, and the tech was very thorough and professional.  At that time I was very happy with their service. In the end,  I purchased the parts and contacted another a/c contractor to install them.  For the repairs quoted by First Class, I paid $289.08 total for parts and labor compared with the quoted prices of $624 and $704.

    I have been using the company for about a year and a half. They are punctual and the pricing is excellent. Jon is very professional and has great workmanship. He was happy to work with my schedule and was easy to schedule a service with. He never complained about anything I asked him to do and he always had a smile while visiting. I trust him so much I gave him a key to my home.

    I was impressed with Wade's qualifications and initial presentation. He was high on my list of possible contractors.
    He said that in order to accurately price the project, his subcontractors would have to determine costs. The electrician looked over the project, but time went by and I never heard from Wade again. If he couldn't do the work, a phone call would have been a responsible response!
