    Very well. Pike Creek met and efficiently and cheerfully resolved a number of surprise problems at our house in Old New Castle. During the process, they always arrived on the dot, then left the workplace clean and in good order at the end of the day. They were accommodating, in no way intrusive, and did an excellent job. We will use them again.

    Not well at all. I'm not hard to please, I just want what I paid for. The contractor refused to do the job saying that my driveway was bigger than the square footage I paid for and that I would need to pay $73.00 more. The service I paid for was up to 1,000 sq. ft. and my driveway is 24' x 38' and a little jog in the driveway is 4' x 11'. This is 956 sq. ft. where I learned math. He pulled his guys and refuses to do my driveway now. However, Angie's list paid him already. For a service that wasn't done yet! and now I have no recourse. He has my money and Angie's List's response is "Sorry about your luck". Pavement Management of Coatesville, PA and Angie's List - my advice is stay away from both of them. Angie's List will not support you if you have an issue. This guy could have come to my house and took a crap on my front step and I have no recourse - he's been paid already!

    This is a review of what we went through when we hired J. Michaels Painting (owner Mike Purvis) to paint our house and everything was fine in the beginning. He came the day we scheduled for the initial estimate. He was late. He did call to say he was running late. So, then we setup the appointment for ���color consult��� which he says is included in the price. He will help us decide a color(s). Well, he seemed to be frustrated with us trying to figure out which color(s) to choose. He made his recommendation, etc. He seemed to rush us. Which we did not like. Anyway, he left us a swatch book for us to look at. It then turned out that we had to decide a color and that we had to by a certain time. I sent him a text saying Mike we are still racking our heads with colors. What���s the latest we can send them to you. He replied back 4:00..why don���t you just trust me? Your putting way too much thought into this. I replied���that���s us. So, after that I called him and spoke with him on the phone and he again repeated trust me. He wanted to go with one color that he recommended on one wall and another on the other walls. He again said trust me. He said it���s only paint. He then said I���ll tell you what I���m going to do. If you let me paint the one wall the color that I���m recommending and I will give you two weeks to decide. If you and your wife don���t like it I will repaint it whatever color we want and that he will eat the cost. So, me and my wife discussed and said well let him do it. If we don���t like it he will repaint it. Well, the day came to paint the house. They did a good job moving furniture and covering things. The painting was ok. Not as good as I thought it was going to be. Well, we notice quite a few spots that needed to be touched up. They missed a lot of spots that needed to be spackled, caulked, etc. As a few days went by we noticed more. So, anyway we were trying to get used to the one color and as we were stated give it two weeks and see, so we did and after that we decided we did not like it. So, I contacted his office and spoke with Donna and told her that we did not like the color and mentioned to her what Mike Purvis (owner) said. Also, to report that we need touchups to the work performed. She said ok. Then I get a call back from Donna saying that it will cost us $150.00 to be repainted and that Mike said that he was talking about the faux finish wall, which we clearly stated, no matter what we don���t want that touched. So, we just said forget about it. That to me was a feeling of bait and switch. let it be a lesson never to trust or take someone on their word ��� GET IT IN WRITING!!!!! So, now we have an appointment for them to come and fix all of the imperfections that they left. I was told by Donna in a VM that they would be out on that day anywhere from mid-morning to mid-afternoon and that someone would call me an hour before they would come. So, after waiting around all day it was 3pm so I called the office to see what was going on. No answer. I left a message. I figured they weren���t showing up. I then get a call at 4:34 pm saying that we are on our way. I said well it���s too late. I didn���t think you were showing up and I have to work tonight. We will have to reschedule. This was the son of the owner that called. Well, to me 4:34- 5:30 is not mid-afternoon. Well, then I get a call from the owner Mike Purvis he just starts telling me all kinds of stuff before I can get three words out of my mouth. This guy is a class A scum bag. So, I said I didn���t expect it to be this late. He then said ok I will call you Friday to setup another day. I said ok. Well, then that night at 8:10 pm I get a text from him saying ���Changed my mind after seeing how ur family really is self-centered and userous. Stick ur touchups in ur ***���yes, ur entire family. We live better because we r better people.��� I responded with ���If ur what u call better people. Good thing I still have ur secretary���s VM.��� He responded back ���I pay her. She will laugh at ur whiney ***���Try it���c what u get��� AS AN ASIDE: We came to hiring J. Michael Painting after getting a few quotes, while he was not the least expensive, they would be finished in one day which was the selling point. We had also heard of others that used them and were satisfied. We also felt a sense of trust as his son and our niece were dating (the families had never met though so we did not know the owner Mike Purvis at all). Come to find out the next day after the nasty text, that the kids had a falling out that ultimately led to a break-up. At the time we had no knowledge that anything was going on. It was strictly business, obviously J. Michael took it to a totally uncalled for and horribly insulting next step. I wouldn���t recommend this business to anyone who is looking to spend top dollar for painting or for professional and courteous treatment as a customer patronizing a business. I mean really c���mon who talks to people like that ��� a business who obviously cannot separate business from personal issues ��� that had nothing to do with anyone other than 2 people who were not involved with the business agreement, a business who does not care! If you decide to hire him ��� just remember to not have any opinion or too many questions or hesitations or go against what he is saying or interrupt him ��� you will probably receive the same verbal abuse as we did!

    Went very well. I am satisfied with the work and would hire them again. Have already referred them to others. Both Darryl and Josh are enjoyable to work with and communicate well. They also make suggestions for better look and functionality. An example would be changing out the current rubber hose used for ice maker with a copper line.

    Chip and his crew did a phemomenal job. They arrived on time and completed the work in one day as quoted. They were all very professional and cleaned up and moved all furniture back when done. We definately will be calling them again for additional painting in our home.

    Greg was nice enough, but I needed him to complete a job that another painter was supposed to do and I already had the paint from that. He indicated that it would pain him to use the paint that I had already purchased and I should purchase Sherman Williams. I was already out $75 for paint and not about to spend more on perfectly good paint. The price he quoted me for painting was $230 for the walls ceiling and trim for 1 room. The room size was 12 x 11 and the walls were already white. I decided to go with someone else.

    These two men, Daniel and Juan, define the words, "work ethic".   Initially Adrian gave a reasonable estimate of the work to be done and he was very professional and courteous.  The two gentlemen who did all the work were professional, mindful and obviously took pride in their work. They always showed up on time and worked all day with just a break for lunch and they stayed until it got dark, and cleaned up after themselves every time. Any correction or touch up I asked them to do was done quickly and with no sign of complaint. These gentlemen were very helpful and I will be recontacting Ayala soon for some more painting upstairs. My wife and I look forward to having them work with us again.

    They showed up on time and ready to work . The 3 brothers were very polite and courteous and didn't waste any time . The whole job only took them about 7hrs and that was 3 coats to some of walls and ceilings . After they were done they even vacuumed the floors. Never have I had a painter do that ! I highly recommend them .

    From initial contact the owner was professional. We were provided detailed contract within two days and work was done on dates and times agreed upon. I have referred this provider to family and we have plans to use the provider for additional work.

    A water pipe on the second floor burst, causing damage to the floor on
    the second floor and ruining my tin ceiling and damaging the finish on
    the random plank wood flooring in the first floor kitchen, as well as
    some damage to plaster walls. Not only did they have to tear out the
    tin ceiling, but 100 year old plaster and lath behind it. Kitchen
    cabinets and an oven had to be removed and rehung. Floor needed to be
    repaired, re-sanded and refinished. They subcontracted the re-sanding work out,
    as well as the replacement flooring on the second floor and final
    painting, but their Construction Manager oversaw and carefully checked
    on everything. Because of delays getting the tin ceiling, work was done
    over a period of about 6 weeks. The Gibellino contractors (Jeff and
    Walt) did quality, careful work, and took pains to be sure everything
    was completely satisfactory. I've never encountered more conscientious
    workers in 30+ years of home ownership. They taped off the areas they
    were working in and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves every day,
    making the disruption easier to bear. I would give them an A+ if you
    had one, and recommend them without reservation!
