    Patsy has always responded quickly to our requests and come to our house very soon to discuss the projects. He is very knowledgable, explains everything carefully, and really listens to what we want. His estimates are extremely fair and the final price never varied from his estimates. He is a pleasure to work with, and we are relieved to know that we will always have him to turn to!

    Installed on time. Refrigerator fit into space among cabinets but had plastic on top which blocked cabinets above. Refrigerator also stuck out beyond cabinets. Now understand there is a "counter depth" fridge. Paid @ $500 to have cabinets adjusted so they were useful again.

    JGM just refinished our twelve year old kitchen cabinets (35 doors and 13 drawers) – they look NEW! They removed the doors, drawer fronts and shelves and refinished them, front and back, in their shop. They enclosed the kitchen in plastic sheeting and meticulously filled in little cracks and dings in the cabinet frames before applying multiple primer coats. They took care to sand between each coat and applied two finishing layers of lacquer. The results are amazing! The fellows who did the work are true professionals who take obvious pride in their work. I could not be more pleased with their work.

    The washer was available at purchase; however, dryer had to be ordered. Dryer arrived within estimated time. Since we were not living at the home at that time, we were told they could hold it at the store until our next scheduled trip to Lewes. All we had to do was call them a couple of days before we planned to come down and they would schedule us for installation. When the installation was scheduled, they arrived on time , and got the job done quickly and efficiently. No additional charge for installation and connectors.

    From the moment we walked into the store, we were greeted with a smile and a friendly atmosphere.
    The staff was very helpful and accommodating with time and attention. 
    They assisted us in selecting a free-standing stove/oven combination as well as an above the stove microwave.
    This process was painless.
    The day that they were to deliver the item went smoothly.
    The crew installed the items quickly and efficiently - they also were mindful of and cleaned up their own mess.
    Well done.
    Also, the "B" for price is just because I don't like spending money.  :o)

    The bookcases look wonderful. Mr. C. added trim to make it look truly built-in, with great results. He bought the millwork, and used his carpentry skills to make them. In addition, he painted them to our specification ( two colors).

    I was surprised and pleased that Ward's charged a little less than another local company that offered only slip covering instead of the full upholstery that Ward's offered on the couch.  I bought my own fabric on line. They made the process easy, suggesting we have the fabrics sent directly to them, which we did. They were very accommodating with pick up and delivery of the furniture, with no extra charge for this. They did an absolutely beautiful job. We have received many positive comments from friends and family. They are very nice and professional. I highly recommend them for any upholstery work.

    Mr. Keith provides excellent service.  He, and his father before him, have been servicing my piano for ten years.  I have always received superior service from this company, which begins with receiving a yearly phone call from Mrs. Keith, a wonderful voice of the business, to remind me it's time to tune my piano.  They have always been on time, and given me their full time and attention while at my home.

    They did nothing on that service call but look at the range. No tools came out and no testing was done. They told us a new a new heating coil was needed and they would have to order one. We were charged $100 up front for the visit. 
    Two weeks later, we had not received any word from them. However, we received a bill in the mail for the cost of the part. My husband went to the store to find out what was going on. They could not find the part we had been charged for. Obviously my husband did not pay that invoice. The employees were rude and not helpful. My husband decided we were no longer going to do business with them. 
    It is a shame. We had been doing business with them for over 20 years (that was before the business changed hands).

    The washer and dryer were delivered as agreed upon but the stack kit was not the correct one so it had to be stacked with a piece of cardboard. That was not a problem because they said the correct one was in another location and would be delivered within a short period of time. I waited for a call but none came so I called to determine the status. I also told them that I had not received one of the manuals. The response was that I could find it on line if I needed it. they also knew nothing about the stack kit and said they would look into it. Again I waited but no follow up. I called again and again no one knew anything about it(I had already paid for everything). I asked for the manager who found out that the stack kit had been sold to another person so it would have to be ordered. I waited again and called back a couple of weeks later. It had come in but they hadn't called. We set up a time for delivery and the saga ended. I never did receive a copy of the missing manual. My family had used this company for years and the service is not what it used to be. That makes me sad because I do think it is important to buy local.
