The repair professional, Jason, arrived on time, analyzed the problem rather quickly, ordered the part and returned within a few days to install the part. Problem solved! I was extremely pleased and felt as though the service was truly excellent and the price seemed very reasonable. I would definitely call upon this company again.

    The cost to repair out weighed the cost to replace. we opted to take the CHW cash offer since the washer was discontinued and had a history of failure. The cash offer didn't cover the full cost of a new washer but it was delivered on schedule and we were satisfied with the outcome.

    When he tried to put in the microwave oven his knee hit the door and he said there must have been a crack in it because when he leaned against it the glass broke in the oven door. He fixed it and he didn’t charge us anything. He came on a Saturday and replaced the whole thing. He is really good.

    local dealers struggle to compete against the ?box? stores.  Recently Amy
    resolved a rare factory defect issue with their Frigidaire (Electrolux) supplier.
    By honest and consistent communication, they were able to provide superior
    customer support. Well done!

    If AFC is rated 2nd best home warranty company, what is the last rated one like?  They provide customer service people to answer the phones and take the claim information but they provide nothing else.  I woke up the other morning and found water on the kitchen floor coming from the refrigerator.  The ice  in the icemaker was melting,  I called AFC after checking the circuit breaker and turning off the ice maker.  Five hours later, I called them back and was told the policy did not cover leaks from the frig.  I asked why did they not call me to tell me that and was told they had to get the claim filed etc. I called a local repairman and he came out within a few hours and the frig. was fixed.

     In November I had a problem with the heater.  It would not stop running and the thermostat did not register the excessive heat.  I called AFC and they took the info.  I called them back several hours later and was told they could not find a company that would come out.  I called a local company and the technician spoke with AFC and they told me I would have to pay the bill and them would be reimbursed.  II did that and am still waiting for the check.  I have submitted the paperwork 3 times and nothing had happened.  When I call they just pay me lip service.

    I am paying for service from a company that does not stand behind what they offer and also paying for repairs they should be paying for.

    Contacted HA via email and gave model number and description.  Almost (within 15 minutes) response from Trevor that the left front burner was the large 16K burner and gave some troubleshooting hints to ensure that the problem was a failure. 
    I replied (via email) that the valve was indeed failed and he replied that he could order the part and install it on 3/31/14.  I returned email agreeing to time.  Trevor and an associate replaced and checked the valve for leakage as scheduled.  Very nice and professional service.

    From the moment we walked into the store, we were greeted with a smile and a friendly atmosphere.
    The staff was very helpful and accommodating with time and attention. 
    They assisted us in selecting a free-standing stove/oven combination as well as an above the stove microwave.
    This process was painless.
    The day that they were to deliver the item went smoothly.
    The crew installed the items quickly and efficiently - they also were mindful of and cleaned up their own mess.
    Well done.
    Also, the "B" for price is just because I don't like spending money.  :o)

    I definitely would call this company again. They were quick to return my call and came out during the narrow time frame I had my rental property available. They ordered parts and called when the parts were available .
    Very professional and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need.

    My 12 year old dryer was never cleaned of lint. Today it was. The repair person had to thread a new tube through the inner workings of our house from the outside vent to the back of the dryer a floor higher. He did this with great agility and patience since the opening was the same size as the tube. The work was performed efficiently and professionally. I will not hesitate to use the Henlopen Appliance shop again.
