    Technician arrived an hour later than the appointed time. He articulated that he did not want to go upstairs to figure out what was wrong. He spent all of his time on his cell phone texting. He took two hours to run his diagnostic test and told us that he thought it was a leak in the line but that he had no idea where it could be or if they could even fix it. There was no leak.

    Steve and Jim were warm and receptive to answering questions as well as being very professional. You can tell they know what they are doing by the way they paid attention to all the details needing to be done to install the system. I highly recommend this company not only for all their employees, with whom we have always had good experiences, but also for the quality of their appliances. You'll pay more for work done by Horizon but you do get what you pay for. You pay more but you get more.

    They did not have a 24 hour service. They might have changed that but at the time, I couldn’t find a 24 hour service. They are prompt. Sometimes, they try to sell services that I probably don’t need.

    Fabulous! Of course, as air conditioners always do, our system broke down on the hottest week of the year. Not only that, but it was in the middle of a family reunion, and there were sixteen people staying in our house, including ten children under the age of seven. We called the service company that we usually use, and they said they could get a new system in probably in a week or ten days Another company told us it would be two weeks. Horizon sent a wonderful representative out to our house at 6:00 that evening, and we had a full work crew at our doorstep by 8:00 am the next morning! Every single Horizon employee who worked in our home was clean, polite, and very considerate of the family members, large and small. They did a great job of trying to stay out of the way, cleaning up after themselves and treating our home and family with respect. The entire experience was a pleasure and the cool air in the house is divine.

    eExcellent.  I called Jim about 9P.M on Sept. 28, and he called called me back at 9:00 A. M. the next day,   He agreed to fix my problem that afternoon, and arrived right time.  The guy whos name is on the sign and on the truck is the guy who does the work.
    He had all the equipment and, most importantly, the knowledge required to clear the two drains.  He put down protective cloths to keep my floors from getting dirty or damaged, got right to it, and completed the work in a timely fashion. 
    Jim is also a very pleasant and engaging man.  I enjoyed talking with him and he did not mind that I did so while he was working.  If you ever have a need for a plumber, I'd strongly recommend Jim E. Malin's Plumbing and Heating.  Mine was a very pleasant experience, and the drains work great now !

    Existing unit failed on 6/23/15 - storm related incident.  Called Gold Star on 7/1, by 3:30 that afternoon a tech was here and diagnosed the unit as needing to be replaced.  Waited several days for the insurance response.  contracted with Gold Star on 6/30.  We were going on vacation so arranged for the installation on 7/8/15 - the day after our return.  When we signed the contract they took a modest deposit, with final payment do at installation completion.

    As promised, the crew arrived at the house just before 7am and completed their work around one.  removed the old furnace and outside AC unit, installed and tested new equipment, installed a new thermostat and explained its operation.  Additionally, through online registration of these Trane units we received a 10 year parts/labor warranty.

    The experience with Gold Star has been great, I expect the Trane unit will be also.  Will recommend Gold Star every chance I get and will use them again in the furture should the need arise.

    I called for emergency service.  My gas furnace stopped working and outside temperature is 2 degrees.  I was told they were busy and the earliest the could come was three to four days!

    I called for emergency service because my gas furnace stopped working this morning and the outside temperature is 2 degrees.  He said they were extremely busy but he would try to fix the furnace this afternoon.  He then asked me several questions to trouble shoot the problem.  After telling him the gas flame was burning in the furnace and the thermostat was working, he told me to check the air filter and he would give me a call back in an hour for an update.  I replace the filter.  The furnace started working when I closed the door to the air filter.  I will definitely use him to service the furnace in the future.

    The do a great job and they have been doing work for us for about 8-10 years. We are very happy with them. We have a maintenance contract with them on our furnace. They come out right away when you need them. The technicians are always very polite, on-time, and they put booties on their feet so they don track stuff around the house.

    Leon did a tune-up on my A/C unit.  He was professional and prompt and the person I spoke with in the office (Lisa) was also responsive and professional.  I gave a B for punctuality because Leon did not make it to my home the first time he was scheduled.  I understand that he was held up at the job before mine and I understand that happens.  I was able to promptly reschedule my service and he was on time and did the job efficiently. I was contacted by either Leon himself or the office and updated as to when he would arrive at my home. 

    I was afraid that the tune-up would result in costly repairs and maintenance, but Leon informed me that my unit was in perfect working condition which I was relieved to hear!

    I would use Accurate Air again in the future.
