They did a great job on putting our new windows in. There was only one guy that came out and did the work and he was great. He helped me move things and put them back when he was done. There was one window that there was a problem with, it wouldn't close the way it should. And they took care of that for us, ordered a new window that day and stayed in contact with us on when it would be swapped out. They didn't have to replace the whole framing for the window just the glass frames. And they look great. We are so glad that we had this done. We had talked about it for some time now and they came out looked at our old windows and we talked about what we wanted to new windows to look like and they gave us a price that we just couldn't pass on. And we are so glad we went ahead with it. If you need new windows Power Home Remodeling is the ones to get.

As of 14 March 16 - Work was accomplished Aug 13

I am doing this review a later to express my thanks for the work accomplished. John was awesome to work with and very professional. I had many contractors come out and look at my requests and ultimately chose him as he seemed the most knowledgeable, met my budget requirements and had a reputable reputation from my research.

After estimate repairs were agreed upon, work was started promptly. His roofing team accomplished a Dutch colonial roof from what I can remember in about 4-5 days. This was a complete tear and replace as the previous roof was 2 layer cedar and by Delaware code could not have an additional layer added. I was completely okay with this.

Internal team to include painted and foreman craftsman accomplished all other activities within about a 10 days. This included a complete remake of the spare bedroom removing a drop down ceiling that was trashed due to leaking roof. A new ceiling was anchored and laid. Anchoring was required due to house settlement.  The old siding in the room was replaced and replaced with drywall and then painted to my liking. Windows were replaced and a new ceiling fan installed.

Additional drywall replacement and painting was required through various part of the house due to water damager caused by a poor roof and unforeseen hurricane.

There was minor delay on some ending touch up to certain areas I felt needed attention. I believe this was due to high business volume of the company but John did get back to me ultimately satisfied my needs.

I recommend John and Double J Construction in the Delaware area. Hope this review was helpful. Will load pictures sometime in the future, maybe 2018. haha

It went very well. They were punctual as well as professional.  They took the time to explain what they did and the repair job was excellent.  I would definitely use this company for all my roof repairs.

Grant Roofing and Siding did a great job. They came and did it and was gone in one day. I could never even tell they were there, except the roof looked great. The clean-up was great. They didn't screw anything up in my yard or anything like that. I asked around for prices, and their prices were very reasonable. The shingles looked good and everything looked like it should. They did pretty good and were very professional.

I contacted them just before Christmas(a Weds.) and they came and gave me an estimate of the Friday after Christmas. After researching the cost, I decided it was fair and reasonable. I gave them the required deposit(1/2) and they completed the work yesterday. Even though it seems like a long time for services to be complete, with the weather(cold, rain, snow, etc.) it was done is relatively quick time. I came home to roof removed, new roof installed and everything cleaned up. All work looked good and done in 1 day. Would recommend them to friends and would use again if needed.

I had purchased a lawn mower and they offered me a free estimate on my roof.  I spoke with a consultant and signed an e-contract at the beginning but they told me they would give me a contract also.  They came on 5/30 and removed the roof and threw the rubbish all across my lawn and driveway because they had no dumpster from the start, which I found unusual.  They left this in my driveway for at least 5 days it did rain a few days but I can't believe they didn't have a dumpster before starting the job.  The job wasn't complete until 6/12/13.  I say the job was complete until everything was removed.  They didn't remove the roof vent like they said they would either.  The work supervisor was just awful, I had to end up yelling at him.  I still haven't received my contract and I have called twice to get my contract and finally have contacted an attorney to see if he can obtain this contract for me.  I will say the roof looks good but this was such a sloppy job during the process that I will not be using them again.

With Hurricane Sandy, I had leaks that came in through the roof, and essentially water came down three stories of the house, through the roof, the attic floor, ceilings of my son's bedroom and bathroom, down the walls, through my son's bedroom floor, through the tin ceiling in the kitchen, etc.  When John came to estimate the repairs, he actually climbed up onto the roof, and located a open area that was allowing the water in. Before leaving the estimate, he used spare shingles to "patch" the roof, which he did free of charge and without knowing for certain that I would hire him for the repairs. Instead of using the insurance money to repair the interior damages, I asked John to estimate the replacement of my roof, which at the time was 23 years old, and was the cause of the leaks. John did this estimate, and in place of completing the internal repairs, John's crew tore off four layers of shingles (we were only supposed to have 3 on the roof, so don't know how that came to be). The extra hidden layer of cedar shakes that had to be removed did increase the original estimate somewhat, but John was straightforward about that. He put plywood on the roof and re-shingled. There were  a few incidental damages along the way - one of the roofer's foot came through the ceiling in my office, and the gutters/downspouts were damaged somewhat. John repaired the office ceiling and had the gutter on the back replaced.  My roof looks great!
John was easy to work with, fair with his pricing, honest about problems and repairs. He was responsive when I called or emailed him. I still have interior repairs, and I feel confident that they will be done with the same integrity as the exterior work.

The roofers were thorough; did a neat job on the roof; picked up all debris and did a magnetic sweep for nails. They also covered shrubs with tarps to protect them from damage and raked out debris around the shrubbery. The crew was very friendly and answered all of my questions. They did some additional work adding copper flashing in a small area where the shingles abutted a brick wall and they repaired some gaps in the vinyl siding. I was very satisfied with the work done and plan to have them re-roof the back side of the house in a few years.

They were absolutely fantastic. They were efficient. They were on time and delivered what they promised. They came back with magnets to clean up any nails or anything that could have been thrown out on our grass. When they examined something in the attic, they volunteered to replace an exhaust fan for one of our bathrooms. They also did that without additional charge. We have a very large roof for the whole garage and everything. It was one level and so, everything had to be redone. We also had architectural shingles and everything put on. Overall, they were excellent. Their price was probably average. If need be, I would most definitely use their services again.
