    I was billed $357 for a after hours service call that nothing was repaired and Shermans diagnosis was incorrect. I asked why wasn’t the issue ( something wrong with heat system making an odor of gas,) wasnt fixed, and was told that I called the wrong entity of shermans and that I needed to call the repair department. When I asked who came out, they said it was only to check for leaks. Duh, that’s stating the obvious. The “tech” said that it was a leaky valve. The next day I had an HVAC tech come out to address the issue. Because there was still an odor in the house, the first thing he said was “this isn’t a raw propane gas odor, it’s an exhaust odor”, he checked the exhaust pipe for the furnace which ran under the house in the crawl space and exited out through the foundation under our back porch. He immediately saw the pipe had separated at a coupling and determined that was the source of the burnt propane gas odor. So he reglued the coupling, checked the other connections and all was repaired, no more problems. There were no problems with the gas valve at the furnace as reported by the Sherman’s leak testers. After going back and forth with shermans they adjusted the bill to $200 and wouldn’t take any responsibility for their lack of and incorrect service, when I offered $100 they said they would terminate my propane service. IS THIS A COMPANY THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO BUSINESS WITH? THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND PASS THE CHARGES ONTO THEIR CUSTOMERS!

    The installers did not run the drain pipe outside so it flooded the attic. It was plummed into the toilet vent pipe . They had came out on several occasions for the unit not cooling properly. Called them out because water was dripping in the master bath. They said they fixed the problem. It was the pan under the unit had filled with water due to sucking insulation into the unit and clogging it. Two months later, the water was not just dripping it was like a faucet was turned on. I climb in the attic to find the problem. That is when I found the drain pipe taped to the vent pipe. The unit was draining in the attic and behind the walls in the bathroom. I called them out again. The ceiling, walls and floors were so wet the Sheetrock fell in the bedroom and bathroom. It has cost me 15,000 dollars to fix the damage they caused. They have yet to pay for any damages done. The unit still does not work properly. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.....you will pay for it dearly

    The service call was $119.00 per hour.  The parts were $41.47.  The plumber that came serviced my mother's toilet.  My mother did not speak English well, but the plumber knew ahead of time what the issues were.  He spent forty minutes at the home to complete the work, yet he billed for two hours of service.  I did call the office and it did get rectified, but the hassle of having to do that really hampers on the Company's reputation.  I chose Sherman for the Plumbing work because I knew they were a respectable company and I knew the work product they provided.  This was unfortunate.  This perhaps was a one time event, but like I said after calling the office it was rectified.  They have returned the money that was overcharged.

    Do not badger a home owner for payment just because you didn't get your payment fast enough from the Home Warranty company.



    When in fact, the home owner is not someone that is a part of contract when it comes to Home Warranty policies and is only responsible for the co-payment for the service call.  Period.







    Appreciate the fact that the homeowner, (myself) actually sent a check via a business account using bill pay even when it wasn't necessary and then I got badgered because he (Scott) didn't get it fast enough.  Scott Mechanical LLC, needs to learn their manners with dealing with business entities and understand accounts payable and invoicing in the business world.  And, to not turn into a hyper-vented money badger just because you didn't get it fast enough such as within 10 days, especially when there was full communication and concern on my part from the home owner, which I didn't have to do?  The bill pay accounts in the business world are paid when they are processed by the company that does them.  No need to badger the person that initiated it, once initiated it is out of that persons hands.







    As far as the quality of the work, I think it went well...however it took a couple of trips to fully understand all the problems, which is fine if all the problems are resolved.   But I think a more detailed look should of been done on the first visit.







    This company has no patience at this point in their business when dealing with commercial businesses and properties.  They



    are simply too impatient and don't understand the business world yet.

    They caused a problem in my A/C blower changing the filter where the insulation fell in front of the filter. They said it was MY fault for them to come out and fix the problem and tried to charge me a service call for the problem they caused.

    I have never been so unhappy with anybody.  I sat there when they put the system in and it broke.  My children and I froze because they put the wrong vent in my house.  The system was overheating as a result.  The trouble they gave me to come and fix it was bad. I finally threatened to go to the media and that is when they came and replaced the entire unit.  They were horrible.  They did not take care of the customer.  They are miserable.   I will never use them again.  They take advantage of people.  Once they install something it is very hard to get hold of somebody to come and fix something.  I was very unhappy with them.  They don’t care about their customers.  Once they have your money they don’t care about your problems.  The woman on the phone was horrible.

    After making a house call to assess the situation we decided to replace the aging units with more energy efficient models. Once KUDO acquired all the necessary units installation was done in one day. He hauled away all of the old equipment and cleaned up the site which was minimal. We were good to go!
