They're terrific. They do a superior job. They're on-time, professional, courteous and friendly. They answer all my questions. They do a superior job as far as the maintenance of the units. I would hire them again.

I was told by two HVAC companies that my evaporator coil had an R-22 freon leak. We just moved into the house and had an issue with condensation traveling along a air duct/tube into a 2nd floor closet and causing extensive mold. We called a well known local HVAC contractor and we were talked into $3800 of new insulation r-4 to r-8 and remounting our air handler properly even though it was performing perfectly. This $3800 of work was done in March and in April I needed to run the air conditioner for the first time. After 24 hours it started to blow warm air. I check the air handler the next day and saw that the drip pan was filled with water. I called the contractor who came out to survey the issue. The tech said I had a evap coil leak and then charged me $122 for the visit. Keep in mind immediately after spending $3800 the unit stopped working after the first use. I called the contractor salesman/owner who talked me into the $3800, but he never answered. Instead he sent a text saying I hear you have a evap leak I will send you a quote for a new system. He emailed me quote for $7200 on top of the $4k I paid him to break my system. I was appalled at this complete and utter lack of customer service. I assumed at this point I could get new evap coil for $2-3k or just get a new r-410 A/C system. I decided to educate myself as much as possible. I found out that the evap coil was replaced by the previous home owner in 2015. So the contractor who had done the $3800 of work somehow managed to break a virtually new evap coil. I reached out to Jerry at Wright Design. We spoke 30-40 minutes about air conditioners new, old, and future. All the layman information I had gleaned over the last several weeks I bounced off Jerry for his opinion. I never felt rushed or like he needed to get off the phone. Jerry had some theories about the evap coil and told me hed send his son up the next morning. His son Mike showed up and spent 30 minutes with me until I had to go to work. He said he wanted to test a few things to see if this coil could be fixed. Convinced I had a leak and needed a new one, I told Mike that I appreciate his effort to salvage this unit but not to spend too much of his time (or my money) seeing if this unit could be fixed since I was already resigned to buying a new one. I went to work and 4 hours later got a call from my wife saying that Mike didnt find an evap coil leak and was able to fix the air handler. It has been a week and everything is working flawless. I am indebted to Jerry and Mike for their honesty and knowledge. Mike could have easily sold me on a new evap coil for $2500 and I would have perfectly content. Instead he saved me $2100 by busting his butt for 4 hrs to discover the real issue. With this new house purchase Ive been dealing with many contractors, a lot have left me wanting to do the work myself, but none as much as the HVAC companies that have advised me-they make used car salesmen look like saints. That is until I called Wright Design. It was one of the best customer service experiences Ive had in recent memory. My system is 13 years old and will likely need to be replaced in the next 5 years. There is no doubt in my mind that Wright Design will be installing my new one.

We had just moved into our home, the A/C unit kept freezing up. We were doing a lot of renovations to our home and really did not want to spend the money on a new unit. The first time I called it was very hot out and the temp in the house was around 86. I called them at 3:00 in the afternoon and they actually came out around 5:30 and got the unit to work again so we would have a comfortable night 's sleep. It failed again about a week later, they came out within 2 hours to repair. They got it to work again but the unit froze up again within a week. That was when we decided that we needed a new unit. They fixed the old A/C unit again by installing a used blower, ordered the new one and got it installed within a few days. They never charged us for the repairs or the many hours they spent at our home trying to get the unit to work. I have already recommended them to several people and have gotten wonderful comments back. Ed and his brother Jim were great, very nice, trustworthy and professional. I would use them again in a minute.

Technician Jim was prompt and quickly services my high velocity, 3 ton AC unit which had been diagnosed by a large, well known HVAC company to be beyond repair. Jim turned on the unit, made some minor adjustments & said I was good to go! They savedme with their honesty & integrity!

They were very professional and prompt. However their price was extremely high. Quoted $1300 to replace the fan motor. I declined and later found the motor online for $430. I don't begrudge that making a profit, but 300% seems too much.

First,  the only reason I gave a B on quality was do to a nest installation from last year in November that apparently something went wrong as I returned in January the heat was not working.  Not sure where the issue was.  I had discussed the issue and they came back and reinstalled.  They were prompt, thorough and explained issues I was not aware of.
I'm now a customer three times and still happy.  They squeezed me in at the last minute during the deep freeze last year when no-one else would come for at least three days.

    DDM Energy
DDM energy has horrible service. We called for delivery in October, the first delivery was at the end of December when we were at the risk of running out of oil.  Once you signed up for an account, it is very difficult to stop the automatic delivery. If you like to stop their service, make sure to call them multiple times, let them write a confirmation letter for cancelling account and mail to you.

    Horizon Services
Horizon seems to be a fine provider.  The come within the time frame to which they committed; they put shoe coverings on in the house, and appear to be competent.  They are fairly expensive.  But the key for us is that they spend so much time up-selling that they diminish the impact of their good service.  On the last visit they suggested we replace our heat pump, this time they wanted to install an electronic filter system, they never come w/out trying to sell something else.  Next time we are calling another company for a review of the system.

This service was for my mother's condo.  There was some confusion originally and I was not contacted.  However, when I phoned the company they replied quickly and scheduled an an appointment at my convenience. They were very professional

The installation went fine and I am overall happy with the product.
I recently moved into an older home, and i have consulted them about other projects.  I have given them a low mark in responsiveness because I spoke with one of the owners about installing a vent for my master bathroom and ducting the hood in my kitchen, and he never got back to me.  I followed up by leaving him a voice mail message, and he never returned my call.  I can understand if he thought the job was too difficult, etc., but I would have wanted my phone call returned in any event.  I was particularly disappointed because he is one of the owners.
