    Pro Contractors of Conneticut LLC
We were moving out of state and hired this contractor to get the house ready for sale. We found it easy to communicate with Steve. He understood what we were looking for and was able to offer options and ideas based on his experience with other projects. The scope of the project ultimately grew beyond our initial plans because multiple smaller items were added as we went along. Work was performed by a team of dedicated and hard working employees under Steve's supervision. The final result exceeded our expectations. The total amount paid for the renovation was in line with the quality and range of work performed. We found a buyer within a week of the house being on the market. I strongly recommend this contractor.

    Much Construction
I hired Much construction on 2009 for electrical and other work and it went well. In 2019, I brought 3 contractors out to quote a bathroom renovation. Much Construction was the highest quote by 5%, but my previous experience with them in my home made me feel comfortable moving forward. BOY WAS I WRONG! The signed contract estimated the work would be completed in 6-7 working days. The first round of the job took 15 working days. During those 3 weeks of work, there were numerous instances of inadequate communication between Barry Much and his workers which led to rework when I identified the necessary corrective actions. Of course, all of the work was outlined in the contract, so failure falls directly on Barry Much as a leader. After the initial 15 day work period, we used our shower for 2 days before we found it leaking through the floor and into the kitchen below. The membrane at the base of the shower had not been installed correctly, and worse, the grout was done improperly and water was pouring right through a small hole in the grout where 2 pieces of backer board seemed together and the membrane was cut significantly too low. Short story... the water poured over the membrane, seeped through the wooden sub floor, and destroyed the kitchen ceiling. Much Construction came back onsite and had to pull the tiles, rework behind the wall, and replace the tiling and grout. While on-site for this additional 7 day period, Much Construction created additional delays by under staffing the work. There are countless other threads to this story to describe the craftsmanship and leadership, but I'll leave it at this. As I reviewed Much Construction on Angie's List I saw the statement, "Barry Much will be the first to meet with you to discuss your project and be onsite everyday until project is completed to your personal satisfaction. We guarantee it!" Barry never even came to my home himself to assess the damage done after his team built a leaky shower. BARRY MUCH IS A LIAR. ' I hope anyone reading this is so disgusted, that any thought of hiring Much Construction is gone, shredded and discarded forever.

    ES TILE HOME IMPROVEMENTS INC
Just outstanding. The price was fair and the work performed was great. T and S Tile are great to work with, we would recommend them to anyone, 5 stars from start to finish. Eloy and his team were very helpful on material selections, vanity/sink/counter-top, where to shop and what was recommended for our projects. In 2011, we first had T and S Tile completely remodel the existing master bathroom and make it wheelchair accessible. We were so pleased with their work, we have used them for every project over the last 7 years. We could not be more pleased!

    American Craftsmen LLC
I chose American Craftsman to completely remodel my main upstairs bathroom. I also had them repair a piece of the downstairs ceiling that had been damaged from a leak in the bathroom. And I had them replace a toilet in a second bathroom. The entire experience was fabulous. First, other estimates I received required me to buy the components for the bathroom at places where the companies would then make money off of my purchases. American Craftsman sets up the process differently. I chose and bought each of the components such as the tile, cabinets, sink, toilet, and faucets. I also selected the paint color. Kenny from American Craftsman guided me through the selection and purchasing process. Kenny also gave me his discount on the tile, took the time to show me how to use discount websites for the other components, and then took delivery on the parts and held them until they were installed. Second, the installation process was terrific. The crew of American Craftsman is professional, friendly, and respectful. They laid down protective sheeting all the way through the house and up the stairs every work day. They cleaned up every night and again when the whole bathroom was completed. I have a dog that they not only didnt mind, but actually took care of while I was at work. American Craftsman does not subcontract out their work. Each section was completed by an American Craftsman expert in that area such as tile or carpentry. And a terrific employee named James worked at the house every day and told me each evening what would be occurring the following day. Third, the final product is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. I also want to mention that my bathroom was remodeled in August, 2017 and Im writing this review in late April, 2018. My point is that I still love the bathroom remodel after using it for eight months. Thats important because Im not going off of first impressions. The bathroom has been used by a lot of people, the bathroom has been cleaned, and I still love the remodel. I highly recommend American Craftsman for bathroom remodeling. I believe in this company so strongly that I would them again myself.

    Kitchen Gallery Inc
These guys were great, would recommend them without hesitation. Karen did our design work and gave us exactly what we were looking for. Oscar and his team did an amazing job on the installation, there was quite a lot of extra structural and utility work and the final result exceeded our expectation. They also managed installation of new wood flooring on first floor. It was a big job and we love the end product.

    Holcomb Cabinetry
Holcomb was contracted to install our new kitchen and floors in our family room, hall and powder room. Don the owner was very easy to work with and did an excellent job designing the kitchen. However, when we had callback issues after the installation, we we're completely ignored. For two plumbing issues (an improperly installed toilet and leaking faucet) we were referred to the plumber they subcontracted and were told by him to seal the faucet ourselves and that he did the toilet as a favor and wasn't going to fix it unless we paid him. A subsequent callback about discolored tile and discolored cracking caulk were ignored by Holcomb. We were asked by Holcomb if we used the maintenance kit and instructions that we were given for the tile installation -WE WERE NEVER GIVEN ONE. The installers Joe Ward and Bob Power are the best craftsmen I have ever worked with and I would recommend using them and their company Joseph Ward Remodeling

    TNT Roofing
Tom was very courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He took the time to correct mistakes that a previous contractor left on work we had done. His rates are more than fair, and he is very down to earth. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking to have home repairs or other work done. He is very honest and I have already saved him as a contact in my phone book! We will definitely have him back out for future projects. In this day and age it's very hard at times to find someone for home repairs that you can trust and depend on. Tom is definitely one of those people! Thanks Tom!

    C.K. Lewis Construction Inc
Dennis took our 5x8 full bath down to the wall studs and floorboards. Replaced subfloor, cement board in tub alcove and drywall, laid mosaic tile flooring and floor-to-ceiling ceramic tile tub enclosure, installed tub, sink, fixtures and toilet. We had a last minute idea to add wainscoting and chair rail on Friday and Dennis purchased the materials and installed on Monday. Looks great and our family and friends are very impressed

    BEST CONTRACTING ASSOC
They cut corners fixing uneven ceiling spackling and spaces between cabinet sides and walls if the customer notices.  Their skimming/plastering of ceilings leaves nails, bumps, seams/cracks visible - painted right over.  The person who installed 2 new windows did a great job then cut corners installing kitchen cabinets.
