RPM Construction / Property Management, LLC
Dennis and his crew were outstanding. Flexible on the scheduling, arrived on time and completed ahead of schedule. Dennis had quoted a price range, dependent on the time required to complete the work, and actually came in lower than the low end of the estimate. They came up with a perfect solution to a difficult problem and the carpentry work was great. Would recommend RPM to anyone.

It went great. Not the first time I’ve called Something Constructive. Every time communication is good, prices are very reasonable and the work done is perfect. I highly recommend Something Constructive and I will be calling them again

    MG Roofing LLC
Marvin, the owner of MG roofing is a pleasure to work with.  Over the past few months, MG roofing has done two big jobs for us, and both experiences have exceeded our expectations.  We have a ~1910 row house with a Spanish Colonial tile front roof, which was in need of some TLC.  The roof was sagging around the dormer window due to some rotten wood, and many tiles were broken or missing.  Marvin came out soon after receiving my request for an estimate and while he was on the roof sent pictures of the damaged areas.  We met shortly after to discuss our options for moving forward, and it was clear at this time that Marvin took a great deal of pride in his work.  We were looking for a contractor who was willing to work with our original structure and didn't just want to rip out the old and replace with new.  Marvin understood our desire to maintain the original look of the house at price that we could afford.   Marvin's team  took great care to remove all the tiles from our roof, repair damaged areas of the roof, and replace the tiles, using as many of the original ones as possible.  The tiles he found to supplement the originals matched beautifully.  The majority of our main wood soffit was damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced.  We wanted to maintain the look of the original, requiring custom fabrication.  Marvin went to one of his suppliers who quoted him a price that far exceeded what he thought was reasonable so his team did it themselves for a fraction of the cost.  It looks perfect!  One of the things that makes Marvin stand out from the pack is the way he stands behind his work.  When the new tiles went down, there were some issues with their spacing, causing the rows to be crooked in places.  Marvin immediately went back and had his team address this issue to our satisfaction without so much as a grumble.  He saw the problem and immediately corrected it. We also had maintenance done to the main, flat part of our roof which went smoothly.  In addition, our chimney sustained some damage following the earthquake and was in need of some tuckpointing.  Marvin agreed to repair and repoint the chimney while doing the maintenance.  Upon seeing the finished product, we were thrilled.  Marvin didn't repoint the chimney, he rebuilt it.  There was a lean to our chimney, and Marvin's team corrected this, and left us with a beautifully straight chimney.  Above and beyond what we had asked for.

    V.H.R. Services
Scott first provided an estimate for adding additional wiring and installing under- and over-counter L.E.D. strip lighting that was less than other bidders. We started with the re-wiring, and I watched as he did the work. Top notch. The L.E.D. strip lighting was similar. When we got a new sink installed, we needed the faucet and drains connected, and he did this work expertly. The biggest job was tilting the new backsplash--a rather complex job because the glass tiles came in 1' x 1' sheets with interlocking tiles that required some careful planning and execution. His work was stellar. Since then we have hired him to do various other jobs, including installing ceiling fans, repairing a shed roof, and trouble shooting and re-caulking skylights. Obviously, we think his work is top notch and his rates reasonable, since we keep hiring him back!

    NOBLE Construction Company
They were so nice and patient with me. I asked a lot of questions and Mr. Noble gave me great suggestions and information for my kitchen. They arrived on time, and finished the job before the estimated completion date. I am so pleased with my new kitchen, it’s currently my favorite place in the house. I highly recommend them, they are worth every penny.

Patsy coordinated the finishing of a large portion of our basement including a full bath. He worked with us on the design, obtained materials, performed some of the work himself (with assistants) and retained subcontractors as necessary to get the job done. The quality of the work is great and we are extremely happy with the finished product. Working with Patsy is a pleasure - he pays attention to every detail and assured the quality is up to his, and our, high standards.

    The Neighborhood Handyman
Steve Crass, The Neighborhood Handyman, located in the South Jersey area, is amazing! His wife Rose works in the office for him, and she is amazing too. We found out my elderly and disabled dad was going to be released from a rehabilitation facility, with very little notice. We learned that he would need important changes made to his home in order to live there again. Steve and Rose answered my desperate phone call while they were on vacation! They squeezed my project into their schedule with very little notice. They accomplished the remodeling we needed before Dad came home! All this happened in like a week. During the work, Steve was in communication with us, and helped us make decisions about the project. The project included carpentry, plumbing, tiling, etc. The quality of the work is excellent, as we knew it would be from a past project with Steve a few years ago. I cannot say enough about how helpful it is to have this kind of caring and support when you are in a time of need. There are so many details to take care of when bringing a disabled person back into the home - health care services to implement, etc. Knowing that we had Steve and Rose involved made the whole this so much easier. Thank you Steve and Rose!
