    Overall, the experience was a good one, with a few hiccups thrown in.
    Before I ordered the big deal for the recessed lighting, I emailed the company to make sure they serviced my area since their website did not mention it.  I received a response in less than an hour, which was a great start to our relationship.
    After purchasing the deal, I waited days to hear back from the company (it said on the deal they would contact me to schedule an appointment).  I ended up reaching out to them to get the ball rolling.  I found this a bit odd considering how well the communication went before I bought the deal.
    The day of the estimate (a Friday)  the workers showed up on time.  The overall process took about half an hour in which they checked my electrical panel for compliance, did a visual inspection of the area for the recessed lighting, talked me through the additional options we were considering, and wrote out an estimate breaking down the price by option.
    The following Monday, I received a call to see what work I wanted  as well as to set up the actual service appointment.  When I told them I wanted to have all the work done, I was thrown off by the fact that  they asked what time they could come THAT DAY.  Now I appreciate quick service, but both my wife and I work full days jobs and there's no way one of us could take off the day of to be home while they work.  When I asked to schedule for a Friday down the road, I was told they'd rather do it ASAP because they "wanted to get their Angie's List deals out of the way", so that the very next day would "work best for them".  Again, I can't complain too much about a business trying to get the work done quickly, but that felt a bit pushy and didn't seem like the company was trying to put me, the customer, first.  I tentatively agreed to have the work done the very next day (Tuesday), and I say tentatively because we hadn't even chosen a chandelier yet so we had to go out that night and make a decision on the spot. (I'm a big research before I buy guy, so this made me feel a bit uncomfortable).
    The day of the scheduled appointment started off on the wrong foot.  I was told that a technician would be arriving between 9-9:30AM.  Just before 9, I receive a phone call from the tech saying they'd be about an hour.  OK, a little late but no big deal...9:45 rolls around and I receive a second call, this time from their secretary: The technician is on his way....OK, maybe they'll be a little later but at least they're communicating.  10:45 comes and I try calling the  technician to see where he is.  No response.  Eventually, a 3rd call from a 3rd individual, (the tech, Bill,  who originally came out for the estimate).  Somehow the first technician got mixed up and now this guy is coming.  Bill arrived just before noon, so over 2, bordering on 3 hours later than I was told to expect to someone.
    Bill was an extremely pleasant guy.  He was jovial, hard-working, paid attention to detail and overall seemed like he wanted to put out a good product.  He spent the better portion of the day/night working to complete the job in one day, which I greatly appreciate considering how late he actually began the work and the fact that I in no way wanted to have this become a 2-day job. 
    In the end, I'm willing to look past the few negatives because everyone has an off-day.  They weren't critical errors and the product I paid for looks great, works great, and will keep us happy (hopefully for years to come).
