    The system ultimately needed to be replaced because a year later the same problem happened again...and, in good faith, we decided to give American Vet Heating and A/C a second chance to do business with us; however, this time after leaving several messages we never rec'd a call back so we moved onto another Service Provider that proved to be very prompt and efficient. We used the telephone book and the internet to find that Company.

    The engineer came out but it took a couple of days. There were some other faults with the problem. It wasn't just necessarily a tune-up problem. He found some other things wrong and basically addressed that as well. They got in contact with me quickly. For the deal, there were no additional charges but there were some other things wrong with the heating and air conditioning unit that needed to be addressed that were outside of what was covered. I was okay with that. Everything's working fine now. He needed additional parts. He completed the job in three days.

    I can't say enough good things about them! The tech was excellent, and took the extra time to explain to me all of the things he was doing. I tend to be nosy about how things work, so this was a great experience for me. He also pointed out some things that we had been missing as far as filter changes and how to use our humidistat.. I would highly recommend this company!

    I called for service. They replied promptly.
    Plumber came to make the repair timely.
    Another pipe began to leak again after he left.
    I called again and another repairman came
    Soon thereafter the first pipe began to leak again.
    I called again. the receptionist answered with an attitude.
    Someone eventually came to fix it. But, I won't use them again.

    One very important reason for the expense has to do with the fact we had other services performed while the technician was here.  We will be using this Company on an annual basis to perform efficiency check-ups on our heating and airconditioning systems.

    The heat wave was brutal.  Everybody's air-conditioners broke too.  They were working really hard.  They got to me as soon as they could.  They were very professional.  They could have told me that the whole unit was faulty, I wouldn't have known the difference, but they didn't.  They told me it was the fan and fixed it. In the middle of the heat wave, I am sweating in buckets and wouldn't have hesitated.  They could really have taken the advantage and they did not.  I appreciate that.  My husband was ill.  He passed away a year ago.  I don't have a man to tell me.  If one hears a woman calling them for servicing, they see an opportunity of a single woman, but they didn't take advantage of it.  The guys were great.  Their price was very reasonable.  I will definitely use them in the future.

    I was happy with their service. They fixed the air conditioner and there was no problem. The technician was very courteous and reasonably priced. It was a difficult time for this are because half of Delaware lost its power, and it was a terrible heat wave. They were really very accommodating because I was back and forth to New York and they just worked around my schedule even though they were busy. They were running the trucks 24/7 but they just did their best to help me out. When they did come, they were honest about what was wrong. It wasn’t the whole unit, it was just the motor. They could have told me anything and I wouldn’t have known the difference.

    Two years ago the fan motor on the furnace wouldn't come on, and I purchased a new thermostat thinking the problem existed there.
    After I installed the new thermostat the fan didn't come on, therefore, I called the installer of my furnace to check out the problem. He indicated the circuit board on the furnace was corroded from moisture, and installed a new one in the same location under warranty. Two years later I have the same problem, but Community Heating relocated the circuit board in an area that would not be exposed to moisture. He seemed to understand the problems of various issues that the competition over looks or doesn't care, as long as it resolves the problem for now, John and his wife Mary operate their business as a team, and their business succeeds through referrals of satisfied customers. There are plenty of larger competitors in this business, but get your wallet out when the arrive.

    I like him very much other than the fact that the heater broke down and he had to replace it. They did a very nice job. They were very professional about it. I'm quite satisfied. I got three estimates and they were a little high. I actually have a maintenance contract with them and the service they provided was well over the hired cost. They were very knowledgeable. Once they found what the problem was, they sent someone out to look over things and recommended a new heat pump for us. He did so and they actually moved the heat pump because the location of the heat pump was not good. So they moved it for us and we were quite satisfied. I think they are fair and do good work. I have a maintenance contract with them for probably two years now and I've been very satisfied with them. There were a number of things that went wrong with this heat pump and they repaired it several times at no additional cost because I had the maintenance agreement. I would use their services again in the future.

    We have been experiencing 100 degree weather. Our A/C went out last night around 9pm. I called tem at 7am and they were on the premises by 10am and replaced the fan and a couple other parts that had given up the ghost.
