CThe Asphalt MaintenanceThey were very pushy with the estimate process and sent late night text messages after 10:30pm and then texted me at 10am the next morning when I said it would be better to communicate after Noon. CDaley pavingupon completion, asked about side not being tamped to keep stones packed together. He said I can't roll over it. I said you can tamp it, so he went around with a torch and pushed it in with his foot. Also has questioned about 3inches of asphalt in some areas. I waited 4 days and called and informed him I was concerned about some areas, the edges and some soft spots. He said to me no one is going to be driving over the edges and that we need to back fill it in with dirt. He was hesitant to return, but I said I would feel better if you would come out so I can go over these areas with you. He finally agreed to come the following Saturday at noon. He never showed up, never called. Yet he says he stands behind his work. Would not recommend. I have just saw 2 driveways just installed by another company this week and all sides were tamped tight and no crumbling stone. This is not what I got.- Sandra B.

FBlack Rock Paving & Sealcoating IncThey used substandard material. The paver laid uneven ridged blacktop which was uneven and had valleys in it. Less than a year there is small potholes starting where the blacktop is coming apart. They refuse to fix their workmanship. They said it was good for 30 years and it has not lasted a year. They have been reported to Delaware BBB and they refused to respond. Presently waiting to see if they respond to the Delaware AG office. This company is a ripoff company who does not stand behind their work. As a Senior Citizen I consider them a con artist company who rips off Senior Citizens. Do not believe or trust them in their verbal agreements. Work was done on 1/13/2020 and last contacted them on 8/24/2020 before contacting Del BBB and Del AG office.- Allen P.
