    Comfort Plus Services
Kyle showed up on time and thoroughly went over each heat pump checking the settings and cleaning the units. This is the first time I have used Comfort Plus Services. I always had the heat pumps serviced by another vendor at least once a year and expected them to be in tip top condition. Kyle showed me that the cooling coils had not been cleaned properly and a good portion of them were blocked with dirt that had built up over the years. He cleaned the coils and I expect they will run more efficiently and it probably saved me a service call on a hot summer day. I am happy with the services provided by Comfort Plus Services.

Everything went well. As far as the price I am not sure this is approximate cost. I have an American Home Shield Service Contract. This company was one of many to choose from, and so glad that I did. They came in asking questions about the unit and what it was doing. Once I explained they went up in the attic determined it was the blower and relay switch. I was without air as this part had to be ordered at the supply house. I received a call yesterday saying the part came in and that they would be out today to install. If you are looking for a company that will take the time to explain, take pictures, since it was in the attic, be professional and honest, and most important show up on time, I would suggest you give them a call!

Don Faulkner came on "the spur of the moment" because my electrician couldn't make it due to an emergency.  So my electrician - who I highly recommend also (Wayne Cannon 302-465-1170), called Don to replace my thermostat.  Wayne placed the call to Don
about 11 am - Don arrived at 12N and actually saved the day for me.  I cannot go without A/C in the summertime due to a health reason, and it was going to be hot that day.
Don was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, & courteous.  His charges are very fair for the great work he does!
    I'd highly recommend him!

They're very accomidating.  They knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it.  They were very fair, honest, and courteous.  They were also clean and wore those plastic booties to protect my flooring.  They were wonderful and some of the most polite people that I've worked with.

    Blades HVAC Services Inc
I called Blades on Friday and was told the gentleman who could give me the estimate would call me back sometime before 5. I didnt hear from this guy until Monday. When he called, we  set up an appointment for him to come out and give us an estimate. I believe the mans name was Brandon. He scheduled to come out between 9 and 11 am on Tuesday. I said it was fine because we had another appointment early afternoon with another company. He called a little after 10 and said he was running late because he had a meeting that ran over and that he would be here closer to 11.Again, it was fine because he did call. However, 11 am passed and he finally showed up at 11:45, looked at our furnace and said he would email me an estimate. He was here less than 5 minutes, wasn't personable at all and It is now a day later and I have yet to hear back from him about an estimate we inquired about. Although the people I spoke to at the office were very nice, I will NOT be calling this company back for future estimates and/or services because of my first and only experience with them.

They are punctual, reasonably priced, very forthcoming and communicating with us what was going on. He was explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done, and what to look out for in the future. He is just extremely thorough. I am going to have him out at a minimum once a year just for maintenance checks. If you want it to be done correctly and at a reasonable price, call him. He is very personable. He is fully investing in his business and performs the work along with his son. I would trust him with anything. My wife said he is extremely attentive.

    Service Today
They took over a month to resolve my issue and the whole  (inaudible 52:6) was supposed to be covered by my warrantee. They ( inaudible 56:0) a cord out of one of my units after I had a conversation with the overall service manager, Randy. He said that they would take care of me and I saw no fewer than four technicians during that time frame. It is not Service Today, it is Maybe On Time Next Week! The last two technicians that came out, they verified that everything was good covered under warrantee. The bottom line is that we got a bill in the mail a month afterwards for $3000. And I called up and said what about our conversation that we had, and also mind the fact that your technicians said they can't do the service until they verified I discovered about the warrantee. And they did slow and postpone the service. So the company still insisted that we hold them and we got harassed for two years with phone calls. I will never ever use them again. We tried to get hold of the owner to let him know what was going on, and he would not return phone calls. We never spent money with them, we were under warranty. They had actually purchased service contracts from a previous provider that sold the company and I think the owner of Service Today actually was involved with the previous provider. And the bottom line is they didn't honor the commitment. The only silver lining in their company is that most of their technicians tried to communicate and resolved the issue. But their overall management was not willing to help.

    American Home Shield Home Warranty
This review is to ultimately state that American Home Shield is using incompetent contractors in my area.
I moved into a house in Seaford, DE in Sept. 2011.  In October I had a problem with my hot water heater.  Amer Home Shield sent a company called Energy Solutions to fix it.  The man they sent was incompetent...told me I need an 80 gallon hot water heater and that there were no smaller ones between the 40 gallon one that I had and the 80 gallon one. He then said it would cost more to purchase and install and I should buy it through them.  I realized it was a scam to make more money.  I called Sears and they installed a 50 gallon heater.
Then I had a problem with my heat and air conditioning system, and again American Home Shield sent someone from Energy Solutions.  They told me I needed a new system because there was a hole that should not be there and it was dangerous.  In any event, I finally realized that this company was bogus.  I called someone else and they fixed the problem within an hour.
Meanwhile, my friends Joanne and Sandi&Don had the SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SAME COMPANY, ENERGY SOLUTIONS, AS THEY ALSO HAVE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD.  Our realtor purchased this insurance for us when we bought our houses from her.
This week I had a problem with my sump pump.  I told American Home Shield I did not want Energy Solutions.  They said they were sending me Alfred Mousley Plumbing.  When Mousley Plumbing called to confirm the appointment, ENERGY SOLUTIONS APPEARED ON MY CALLER ID!  THEY HAD CHANGED THEIR NAME I'm sure because of all of the complaints.  I then called American Home Shield to complain and they told me this was the only company they used in my area.
My friends and I are not renewing with American Home Shield.  They lost 3 customers in one area because of their lack of interest in customer service and for using incompetent contractors.  I would never recommend them to anyone.

First Class Heating, Air Conditioning Plumbing, I
The service was good but I thought it was a little expensive. They were very nice and on time.  I guess I was a little shocked with the price they charge for the thermostat and stuff.  They seemed to be okay as far as the service.  He was running late, but he did call.  In the future I would do a price comparison before using them again.

First Class Heating, Air Conditioning Plumbing, I
Company owner, Tim Pulice, was our sales person. Tim presents himself and his company in a very professional manner. He is also very accomodating and willing to work with the customer and keeps in touch from the sales call right through to job completion. The father/son installation crew were very friendly and efficient. They completed the job in the time frame given and were also very accomodating. I couldn't have asked for any better experience than the one I had with First Class Heating and Air. I highly recommend the company.
