    I have an annual service contract with Custom Mechanical. Custom Mechanical was here in the spring for an annual maintenance service on my unit. A service technician came again to my house on August 22 when I called them to say I had no air conditioning. The part needed was to be ordered by Custom Mechanical. It is now Sept. 3 and I still do not have air conditioning. So much for a service contract with Custom Mechanical.

    I had my tenant call me at 7PM and 11PM being completely nasty. I got up at 7:30 and called several HVAC one being First Class AC all told me I was pretty well screwed. I called Chesapeake told them I was with Angie's List and a very nice Lady named Kim got me scheduled the same day between 12-4. The technician contacted me at 10:30 and asked if he could come early! By Noon the unit was up and running, a fan motor was burnt out. I expected to pay a premium for such great service but the bill was only $258!!! Thanks to the Chesapeake Team!

    I was promised an 8:00 AM appointment. No one showed up until 9:20 AM. I called at about 8:20 AM to find out when the technician was coming. The person answering the phone said he was on his way. I called back at about 9:15 and asked to speak to the person in charge. This person said that the earliest appointment they schedule is 8:30 and that the technician could come anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 and she was somewhat rude and dismissive. This is not the first time that this has happened but it will be the last time because I won't be using them after my current contract expires. Two years ago, I had a similar situation. I had an afternoon appointment (Maybe 1 or 2 PM) After many calls a technician showed up after 5 PM. After speaking to various people in charge, I was told that if I wanted them to be there on time, I should make a 8 AM appointment. This year I did and I still had problems . I've been a loyal Service Today customer for over 10 years but in the last few years I have noticed that they haven't been as responsive as they were initially. I believe that they've grown too quickly and are having issues with the growth.

    The service person performed things professionally and promptly. I didn't give them an excellent for responsiveness only because I did not receive an estimate for another modification I wanted to consider. I'm sure all I have to do is make a quick phone call to get estimate.

    Provided quote with 3 levels of equipment quality (good, better, best). Quote included 2 years of maintenance and a 10 year parts and labor guarantee. Labor guarantee is very important as it shows confidence in their recommended equipment. Selected the good system, for a vacation home) and scheduled install date. Install team was great. Really knew their business and had a total of 36 years of experience between them. Did a great job on the installation and you cannot tell anything was even added to the home. Extremely happy with the work and would highly recommend the service.

    Would have given an A but serviceman left a number of screws off of the heat pump. Company sent someone out to install right away. They installed out unit about five years ago and have serviced it twice a year. Great service.

    It was a severe kitchen drain clog located several feet down the pipe..  Eli responded quickly on a Saturday night and worked very hard for over an hour on the problem.  He was successful in clearing the drain.  He was professional and personable and left the kitchen spotless.

    Contacted provider through Angies list.  Got a message that someone will contact me.. Left dates, phone numbers and email address for provider to contact me.  Never got a call, email or a second reply back through Angies list..  I guess they didn't want the business.  I used another company and replace my outside ac unit and air handler.

    They were very punctual and came when they said they would. Theye technicians explained what the problem was and fixed it. They are very professional. 

    They also came out for a knocking in the air handler at a later time. They once again were punctual and fixed the problem with no additional charge on top of the service contract.

    There are just too many areas to go into. This past January 2015 we tried to contact Steve Foster at Austin Cox,, who I believe is the General Manager, but to no avail. Not even the courtesy of a call back. We wanted Austin Cox to striaghten out a few issues before the Deleware energy people would be working in the attic. We also  wanted to know if a load calculation was done prior to Austin Cox installing the new system. Could you forward us a copy of this calculation? Heard nothing. 
     I assumed we had a service contract with Austin Cox but when a service call was made in February the technican informed me we did not.
    Spending $12,000 and getting a system that leaves us in the cold most of the time leaves a lot to be desired..
