Urgent Care reviews in Washington DC

  • We live next door to them. They are convenient for us. They are first class. They have all kinds of clinics. Their medical school professors are top of the line. We are very fortunate with them. My GP is a problem with availability but all the other doctors are not. Their office is not really pleasant because they take everybody. Every doctor knows everything about every other doctor who's dealing with me.

  • My visit went well. I did not have an appointment but they were able to fit me in without a long wait. The office was clean and modern with many TVs. The doctor saw me promptly and was quick to make a diagnosis. The only issue that occur that arose during the visit is the doctor writing me a prescription for $180 medicine not covered by my insurance. Upon learning the price of the drugs, I returned to the center to get another prescription for a generic substitute. Thankfully the second drug prescribed was $4.

  • The facility is really run down but the doctors are really good. There can be long wait times. I do not think the organization is top notch. I would say that if you need someone who is very qualified, go there. But, if you care about the comfort of the facility do not go there. They are outdated and they are shabby. They have top-notch doctors and intensive care for newborns. Sometimes it is an important trade off.

  • I had a rash that grew on my eyelid. They were fabulous. I was in and out really fast. Without an appointment, I had very little waiting. They knew exactly what was wrong and took care of me quickly. They were great.

  • Walked in.   Filled in paperwork.  Saw nurse practitioner.  Administered TB test and did basic physical.  Came back in three days to get test results (neg) and then collected paperwork.

  • In each case, the doctors and staff were polite, fast, asked relevant questions, did a lab test on the spot, and gave me the appropriate diagnosis and prescription. Both doctors were very warm. The office also handled my insurance smoothly. And they sent the prescription electronically immediately to the drugstore next door. I was in and out of the urgent care center and drugstore and headed home in less than an hour.

  • Both of my visits were handled reasonably well. The second time I did end up waiting longer than I wanted to. The woman at the front desk was not especially helpful either time, and seemed to be distracted with other issues. The physicians I saw were both straightforward and helpful (two women, I do not remember their names). The first visit included a blood test, which I requested. The doctor was good about giving me a call a day or two later with the results. The second visit, for a short physical, was quick once I got in to the see the doctor, and she provided me a short letter which was enough for my human resources dept to allow me to use the employee fitness room. Since then, I have found doctors at Georgetown and GW that I am more comfortable seeing, but if I had an illness that needed immediate attention, I would consider returning to Farragut Medical.

  • A+ all around... After I finally had my hand surgey, I was in excruciating pain and the Rx the Dr gave me was doing nothing for it... Sibley gave me morphine injections and far stronger oral meds than my surgeon.. but they were careful that it would not interfere with the blood thinners, I am now on for the remainder of my life... thanks to Arlington Hospital's inept ER.
