  • He is fantastic. My wrist was shattered in a skiing accident and he reconstructed it. He is fabulous. I've gone to him for various aches and pains. I would go back to that practice because I think they're all good. One of the other doctors is a team physician for Washington Capitals hockey team. He probably knows a lot about injuries. The office and everything is fine and the x-ray people are fine.

  • After (MRI-verified) diagnosis of a torn ligament in my shoulder, had 3 options:  1) do nothing 2) temporary shot 3) arthroscopic surgery. Tried option 2, which didn't really help, then eventually opted for surgery. Dr. Guidi was great in his diagnosis, surgery and treatment plan.

  • Overall, scheduling appts and surgery, treatment plan and clear communication with the doctor was excellent.
Downside was wait (appx 35-45 minutes from arrival to seeing doctor). Also, had lingering billing/insurance issues that were not communicated to me punctually and ultimately were resolved easily (but took several weeks to resolve). Overall, these were pretty minor administrative issues.

  • Dr. Lutton was very kind, the office was clean and inviting, and after it was determined my issue needed another specialist, he provided me with information on how to proceed with treatment. I really liked the practice and will definitely go again.

  • I've been to Dr. Lavine several times now for shoulder pain after an arthro-MRI. He recommended physical therapy which helped a lot. He also provided me with other alternatives as well. The biggest downside to him is that you can wait for over 90 minutes past your appointment time to see him - that was the worst wait time I had - I would say the best was 20 minutes past my appt. time. He seems very knowledgeable though.

  • Dr. Hughes was excellent. He was able to provide a diagnosis. A previous physician failed make a diagnosis and a painful condition continued.

His expertise was welcome. My previous doctor threw around the possibility of surgery while trying treatments that didn't work. Dr. Hughes emphatically stated surgery wasn't an option and prescribed an effective course of treatment.

  • Thanks to the excellent preparation, surgery, and after care, I am well on my way to recovery.
[VMMC] gave me a extensive booklet during my preop consultation.
While I was unable to attend the bi-weekly Total Knee Replacement class, I followed the advice, and performed the extensive exercises.
I recommend TKR candidates prepare by doing the exercises ahead of time.

  • The doctor gave me 2 cortisone shots after we discussed various treatment options. He then abruptly left without giving me the stretching info he had promised. I got it from a nurse. I felt weak after the shots and had to find a nurse to attend to me until I felt well enough to leave on my own. I thought the doctor was quick to end the appointment.

  • I really like Dr. Klimkiewicz. He is one of the best knee surgeons in this area and he cares about his patients. He's very busy, but he always answers my e-mails. It is very hard to get an appointment with him because he is so busy.

  • Dr. Danziger always give me a thorough diagnoses along with my options for treatment. He suggests that I go through physical therapy, which is a part of his practice and located in the same building making it very convenient.
