  • CRG was great! We originally hired Cornelio & crew to redo our master bathroom, as their quote was extremely reasonable. When they removed the drywall in the bathroom, they found a great deal of water damage and structural problems. Cornelio walked us through the issues, and then gave us another reasonable quote to repair the problems. He initially quoted three weeks to finish the bathroom, which ended up being five and a half weeks due to the structural issues. The crew started on time every day and finished on time every day. All of the workers were very courteous and everyone did a great job of answering all of my questions. Cornelio was on site every morning and walked us through what was going to happen that day. When we had minor issues, they were fixed immediately, and when we had a few add-ons, Cornelio gave us a prompt (reasonable) quote and incorporated the changes into the contract. Ultimately, we now have a structurally sound house, and a beautiful new bathroom.

  • Ferney did an excellent job, and I've already spoken with him about other jobs that I would like him to do. His prices are neither high nor low, but reasonable. If you're looking for quality and timeliness, then Ferney Leal is the guy to choose.

  • The only thing I can say about Boss Design is that they are AMAZING! Having a large open concept kitchen has always been my dream, but in an original 1940’s center hall colonial it was hard to imagine. Boss Design offered profession solutions and a genuine design, unique to our home. Sean is very talented, it’s unbelievable how he transformed our kitchen and we couldn’t be happier. Tyler is amazing as well.Tyler and Sean stopped by several times to guarantee a perfect design. They made me feel like my project was their priority and was proven in the result. I recommend anyone who is serious about remodeling project consider Boss Design.

  • Would recommend for an old house that needs specialty care. Steve clearly knew how to work with the quirks of an old house and get the basics up to date with a new valve for the main shutoff, needing to make an access hole for the bathroom, etc. He was very communicative and pieced all the jobs together over a couple of days in a very busy season. This guy is clearly in high demand in the neighborhood and for good reason. He first came by to see the state of the house, ask questions, and give an estimate. He seemed to really care about the state of things and clients understanding what needs to be done and why. The guys came out over Labor Day weekend to get it all finished when they got behind with other emergency jobs and stopped by first thing on labor day to check in. He works non-stop. That said, C on price because it ended up being much more expensive (for a lot more work) than anticipated. Like, three times as much. I would rather get an accurate, higher quote and not be surprised when it turns out to be a weird house with difficult plumbing. We would still refer to Progressive for our next job but hold them to the quote!

  • I finally have my dream kitchen thanks to Boss Design. Sean Okur and Talha Gursoy were recommended to me by a highly regarded designer who has known me for years and knows how particular I am and how much I enjoy cooking. Sean Okur and Talha Gursoy are both excellent designer and understand what a kitchen needs. From the very beginning, they listened to me and worked very hard to get the look I was after. If a request proved to be beyond our budget, they always had an equally attractive replacement to offer. Sean Okur is a genius at keeping track of all the budget details, Talha is amazing at all the construction details and Taha was such a wonderfully experienced project manager with a warm smile for us every morning. Our designer April excelled at the difficult task of fitting in all the detailed storage spaces and still making it all come together beautifully. The entire construction process was as painless as could be even considering the extensive work that we had done. We stayed in the home during renovation and I was here every day with 4(!) chihuahuas all in one room which turned out to be surprisingly easy. All the workers were here every day at the same time and all left at the same time. They provided me with a timeline and a breakdown of what would be happening when so I was never wondering about the progress. I love organization and this company has it in spades. Every contractor knew exactly what was expected of them due to this organization and Taha keeping them all moving along like a machine. And on top of everything else they are all just really nice people. Taha told me on the first day that he wanted me to have a smile on my face every time I would go in to my new kitchen and I have. It has been completed for several months now and there is not one thing I would change. Needless to say, it was completed on time and of course on budget. We have enjoyed our new kitchen immensely.

  • This company is the absolute worst. I don't know how they have a B rating outside of writing the reviews for themselves. They are F level or worse. I bought a run down house in SE and paid ARJ for a total renovation. They were great about getting a contract in place and getting a deposit. They were really professional upfront. They worked about about two weeks, and then stopped working. To get them back to work, that is when the games begin. They send one guy out who does nothing all day. The guy only speaks Spanish, and when you asks how long he worked with them, he says they got him off of the street that day and didn't tell him what he was supposed to be doing. Then Raj - the owner - calls and says he can get more people over, but needs more money up front to make the job go faster. You give another deposit and they vanish. When he vanished, I got another contractor to finish the work. That is when we found out this man is not only a crook, he also does bad work. We found they tiled over floors he was supposed to demo. He tiled over trash from McDonalds. He plastered over a wall caked with dead roaches and insects. (You can see in the photos below). He was supposed to demo that wall, but did not. He plastered over dead insects instead. He plastered over mold. He put the ceilings in so they were crooked. I wish I had a picture. It looked like a squiggly line. He put joists in wrong and left joists missing. I had to pay to tear out an entire brand new bathroom floor to fix it, when he should have done it right the first time. I paid him 10k for electrical work. The electrician showed for a few days and then everybody stopped working. Finally, the electrician calls me directly and says Raj never paid him for the electrical work, but he can finish the job for more money. They know you cannot move forward until you finish the electrical work, so they hold the job hostage. The owner and electrician are working together to scam clients. None of the people working for him are licensed - Not his electrician, Not his plumber, no one. A few are competent, but some come right off of the street. Hire a reputable company to do your work. He baits you in with great prices, gets your deposit, and runs off. This guy is a con artist and his work is a disaster. Take your business elsewhere.

  • VALLEFUOCO CONTRACTORS claim on their website they're the ultimate professionals when it comes to ceramic tile AND claim they've also trained in Italy to acquire more knowledge about different ceramic tiles, as well as, unique tile design installations. Sounds great, doesn't it? They never bothered to call or even email me. This demonstrates exactly what type of "professionals" VALLEFUOCO CONTRACTORS are. And since they couldn't be bothered to contact us about a small project at our DC property, we did not hire them for our new property in Alexandria where we had 3 large full baths & 1 powder room - ALL requiring complete renos with new ceramic tile. We do NOT recommend VALLEFUOCO CONTRACTORS for any project. They're to be avoided.

  • I would NOT recommend Sosa. They complainded daily of the long commute to DC. They never used a table wet saw. They broke one of my 4 foot pieces of tile and did not offer to replace! Sloppy work and rushed. I highly caution anyone to use these guys. The person cutting the tile (by hand) is under 20 years old.

  • It was rough. I think every remodel is probably rough, especially if you choose to stay in the home like I did. I am so lucky that I chose the right contracting team. I think I would have walked away in the middle of it if it wasn't for Brandon, Juan, and Bryan. Having never undertaken such a task, I had no idea what I was getting into and no idea what to expect. It looks so easy on TV. I'll admit I was pretty high maintenance as a first time remodeler. I had a champagne taste on a beer budget, but Brandon walked me through my different options and helped me decide what was most important to me and what projects I'd benefit most from. For example, I originally wanted a fancy "pop-up" because I needed more space, but Brandon explained that a project like that would take the entire budget. Now don't get it twisted. He would have done it if I insisted, but he listened to me and understood my motivation enough to recommend other options that would still accomplish my goals. Most guys would have just done the easy and most expensive project. I could go on and on, but let's keep it moving. Instead of giving me an additional level, Brandon proposed many smaller projects on the other 3 levels that would make my house look and feel like the vision I had for the "pop-up". Now I have a renovated hall bathroom, a brand new master bathroom upstairs with a closet and laundry room, an open concept first floor, and a fully remodeled and insulated basement. He helped me make the most of what I already had instead of just building on top of it. Much appreciated. Even though it was all Brandon's idea, Juan, Bryan, Jose, Daniel, and Rudy did all of the work. There were some other guys too and I appreciate them, but I especially love those guys. Juan was my go-to guy. He was very patient with me and my constant requests for his professional opinion. Like I said, I had never done a remodel before and he walked me through everything. He explained the difference in materials as well as when it really mattered and when it didn't. He guided me like he would guide a family member. His advice was solid and I'm very thankful that he was available to me. He kept me and the project on track. The only bad part about the project was that I chose to stay in the home while it was going on. I didn't have an option and the guys understood that and did their best to accommodate me. It felt like forever because there was always some part of the house I couldn't use. The guys never left me hanging though. They made sure the power and water were back on when they left for the day and they gave me a warning so that I could make other arrangements if I needed to. They even went so far as to halt the project for holidays when I had visitors. It's the little things that matter and that's what makes me consider these guys my friends instead of contractors. I know that's lame but I'm keeping it real. I don't know how else I can explain what they did for me other than invite the world over for a housewarming party. I used to hate going home and now I can't wait to walk in the door. I'm sure there are other great companies that could have done the same thing, but I chose this company based on a review from another customer when I didn't know any better. Now I'm paying it forward and maybe going overboard, but I want to tell anyone who has doubt that Brandon and his team won't let you down. You can feel comfortable trusting these guys with your dreams.

  • Kam Construction are very friendly, they helped with the planning and design of the entire project. Kept the project in budget. They are knowledgeable and honest. An excellent attention detail and the best quality materials. The workers worked with us all the way. We strongly recommend Kam Construction.
