FPurchased a Big Deal for 2 hrs of plumbing labor. Going on 3rd full week without getting a response from them, decided to refund the deal and try someone a neighbor used. Seems quite a-typical compared with their reviews here, and quite disappointing as I have plenty of other projects to tackle.- Adam A.

BIt was $119 then he ended up charging over $200 for the work. Actually it was a job that somebody had messed up. The job they were going to perform was something that was already started. They took the job, they came back and the guy from Angie's List came and finished the work. The price was reasonable. They could have covered the area where they did the work but they didn't cover it. It was already open to do the job. The first guy had to make that opening to do the work then we had to fire him because he wasn't doing the right thing because he was making too many holes. The second guy from Angie's List did the work but he didn't seal the holes. Now I have to hire somebody else to come and seal the holes that the first guy did.- Rene V.

AMy problem was a blocked culvert under my yard, about 150' in length.
First, I read his reviews, and the lady who excoriated him for declining to turn from a plumber into a jackhammer operator. I read that as he did the job requested just fine, so both reviews were positive.
I called him, and he showed up the next day to take a look at the job. He walked the length of the culvert, checked the flow into and out of it, and agreed it was clogged. (I had visions of some animal having climbed in and died; luckily that wasn't the case. :-) He was ready to start right in. Unfortunately, we had an appointment coming up, but he was perfectly happy to come by two days later. And he did so, right on time.
I thought he was going to run a camera to check the problem, but he explained it didn't really make sense, because he'd have to do that anyway after clearing it the problem, so he'd first run a water jet to clean it up. He started at the upper end, but couldn't clear the clog. He ran his hose to the outlet, and that cleared it.
After that, he tried to run his camera through, but it hung up at a bend a third of the way along, and wouldn't go further. He then took off his jacket and _climbed the length of the culvert_ to verify that it was clear.
I happily paid his price, which was reasonable for the job, and remarkable for what he had to do.
Any problems in the plumbing and I know who I'm gonna call.

ATony booked a 2 hour window and told me he would be working about 15 miles away. We agreed he would call me as he was leaving that job so I could leave work and meet him. They called when they were leaving the job, and arrive at my home about 5 minutes after I did. Right in the middle of his 2 hour window. He and his partner tested and tried a couple of things before taking apart the valves and discovering they were both not working correctly. They went to White's plumbing (because they ALWAYS have what you need). They were back and completed the installation and clean up very quickly. The entire job took less than 2 hours. The cost was $195 for parts and $211 for the Angie's List deal for 2 hours of labor. I am very happy with the work they did and how pleasant and informative they were during the process.
I would definitely use them again.

AI got the name of this plumber off of the E.O. Smith website after I discovered a leak on my hot water heater. I called up and Bill took the time to explain why he recommended a replacement hot water heater given the age and model of my particular water heater. I told him that the work had to be done that weekend as I needed to leave town on a business trip and didn't want to leave my wife and child without hot water. He was very understanding and accommodating. The work was done efficiently by Bill and his helper. I would definitely hire him again.

FTerrible, it took a year rather than 2 months. The craftsmanship was so bad. They had to redo things two and three time and still everything was crooked and off line. The workers had no idea what they were doing. After a year I threw them out and had to hire another company to fix their mistakes. The floor came up, the counter and cabinet seams came apart. When they installed the sink it leaked into the floor below and stained the ceiling, the exhaust vent from the stove to the roof had to be done over. They filled my garage with trash from the rip out and left it there for months. It was a nightmare - really they could not have done a worse job.- j b.

At about 320 pm Manny came to home assessed situation explained about service fee about 60.00 and diagnostic fee about 223.00. I was able to use Angie's List coupon purchased for $119.00 for $200.00 worth of service and my remaining bill was $83.00. Manny cleaned up work area he was polite and professional. This was my only bathroom and I have a relative staying with me so I am very pleased with the prompt reasonable service and would definitely call again for any future needs.

AI had previously used TC's Plumbing b/o reviews here, so I wanted to use him again. I finally got around to contacting him when I had a leaking toilet between the tank and the bowl. He got back to me pretty quickly (I think within a half hour), and it happened that he had a guy (Burt) just finishing a job in my same town (several blocks away). He arrived within about 15 minutes, and was good enough to think to clean his shoes before coming into the house (raining outside). He looked at the toilet, quickly diagnosed a broken gasket/washer, and I let him do his thing. He immediately got to work pulling the tank, swapping in a new gasket set and inflow pipe, and put it all back together again, no apparently problems. While chatting with him, I mentioned that I also had a bathroom sink faucet that I wanted to replace, and he said he could take care of that at the same time. Apparently just in time, as the faucet water connection snapped off while he was removing the old set, and could have gone at any moment. So, I let him do his thing -- he replaced the faucets, and installed a new drain as well. New item works great, and now I'm leak free. The whole visit cost less than the ballpark $250 bid I had gotten from him previously to just install the new faucet. Great job, and I will be contacting him again on some larger plumbing jobs I need to get done.

AExcellent service . Dom gave us a quote on our job and that was exactly what it cost (less 10% discount for Angie's list customer). Sent out two workers for the job and they actually arrived an hour early which is never heard of! Very pleasant and professional workers. Had the job completed in two hours and left no mess. We would definitely use East Coast Plumbing again.- Mary Ann C.

FDID NOT FIX PROBLEM AND WAS UNRESPONSIVE WHEN CALLED AFTER HE COMPLETED HIS WORK.
IN FACT, HE SAID THE PIPE MUST BE BROKEN --- NOT HIS PROBLEM.
AS IT TURNED OUT, THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. ANOTHER VENDOR SNAKED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM.
WE HAVE SINCE BEEN TOLD THAT THE $526 MENNILLO CHARGED WAS EXCESSIVE FOR
WHAT HE DID (ASSUMING IT HAD WORKED).
WE HAD HIRED HIM BECAUSE HE HAD GOOD REVIEWS ON ANGIE'S LIST, BUT HE DID NOT
DO AND GOOD JOB AND HE DID NOT CARE THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN PROPERLY DONE.
