CSmooth movingThis move started well as the owner was pleasant to talk with at first and the two men who came to do the job were on time and very friendly and courteous. However, there were many issues that arose during the move. First, the owner severely underestimated the time it would take and the size truck they would need to do the job. They took double the time that was estimated and needed to make two trips back and forth from my condo to the storage unit. Even after the two trips, the job was still not done. I ended up finishing moving the rest of the items in my car over the next couple of days. During the move, the movers accidentally broke glass they were moving. There was no apology for the break, nor any recognition from the owner about this mishap. The owner did give me some compensation on the price per miles traveled as his original estimate was way under. I just recently began moving my furniture out of my storage unit. Most of my wood furniture was completely scratched on the top. There was no care taken to ensure this did not happen. The base to my bed was also chipped. I reached out to the owner twice to talk to him about what happened to my furniture and he did not return any correspondence. I wanted his insurance information in order to put in a claim but I have not heard from him and am disappointed in how this move and treatment of my furniture was handled.- Karen H.

James and I discussed the details of the move well in advance, yet he was still flexible on the day of the move to handle things differently as required. The furniture was handled with care and moved swiftly; items that required boxing were also dealt with quickly and efficiently. Once the furniture was installed in the new apartment the team took the time to put together and move around whatever I needed. I would also like to point out the particularly impressive job the movers did in transporting the remaining furniture in the storage facility into such a small unit. Although not part of the move itself, the remaining furniture was so meticulously placed into the smaller locker that I have managed to save a significant amount of money on storage as well as have a smooth move. AAbout two weeks ago I moved interstate with the help of Moving APT and they made the whole process look easy. I have moved a few times before and have always been worried about what surprises can happen. I usually like to do business with someone I know but some of the movers that I have hired in the past just did not have the talent to pick up on my needs so I had to find someone new this time and put in the time doing research and reading reviews. I got fair quote from them and I did notice they were just a bit more organized and clinical about the logistics and knowing what was going on than some off the other company's I was calling. They knew everything about our building and the procedures that needed to be followed with building management. They were very proactive to complete the move with not one thing broken. I would recommend them to anyone needing one.
