ARockland Fence, LLCThis fall we completed a very large backyard remodeling project, including stone steps and retaining walls, patio, etc. The company doing the stonework provided us with a different company for the fence, pergola, and railing needed, and the initial quotes from that company were absurdly high. I proceeded to get quotes from almost a dozen fence companies, and Rockland fence not only had the most affordable quote (one that other companies would not even consider matching), but Matt quickly understood the scale of the work and had the best vision of how to complete it. The project itself spanned 5 months, and required coordination with the stone company, landscapers, electrician, and carpenter. In the entire execution, Rockland was extremely accommodating to the narrow windows required to complete the work, and seamlessly coordinated with the other contractors. The execution was stellar, with a strong attention to detail and much care given to not disturb the stone or landscaping work in progress. In addition, Matt was always available to discuss next steps and answer any questions related to scheduling concerns or material delays (due to COVID). In short, they treated me the way you hope to be treated as a customer, and I could not be more pleased with the final results.- Christopher C.

AARROW FENCE INCVery well. On time for the appointment for the estimate. The crew did the job over two days, removing and replacing as they went. They worked steadily and they worked hard. They were pleasant to work with and highly professional. There fencing was two sides of a back yard, one side gently sloping downward toward the back of the yard. Somehow they installed that side so that it was evenly and perfectly aligned with the slope. They removed all old fencing and even as much of the brush that they could fit on the truck, even though that was above and beyond the contract. Total cost with CT tax was @ $8200, and $280 of that was for the materials for the gate replacement and repair. Outstanding experience from start to finish.- Catherine S.

ARockland Fence, LLCI called Rockland Fence to install a fence in my backyard. Matt came out quickly after I reached out. I had a very specific vision and several aspects would require customization. I wanted horizontal layout, with parts double boarded, I wanted a reddish finish on the wood, and a gate that wouldn't be too heavy. Matt listened to everything. He was professional, responsive, open to my ideas, and really wanted to understand my vision and make sure I was happy at the end. He was super helpful in selecting the best wood for the project, problem solving when I insisted on not losing trees, etc. When the project started, Matt remained in close contact with me, checking in pretty regularly, and coming by when I had a concern or question, and figuring out a solution we agreed on. Pete and Ed installed the fence. They were stellar! Friendly, polite, super helpful, and always professional. They showed up every day at the same time, and worked hard throughout. They took their time when it was needed to ensure I was happy - they seemed to really care that I was getting what I wanted, and were responsive to my questions/comments. The quality/craftsmanship was top notch (and believe me, I'm not easy to please!). My only complaint was how long it took to get started. I first met with Matt in June 2020, we agreed on a mid-August project completion, yet the project didn't start until October 5, 2020. Some of the delay was due to lumbar delay given COVID, so out of Matt's hands. Still, it was disappointing. In the end though, I'm THRILLED with the beautiful fence they built! Overall, it was a great experience! I highly recommend this team! They are TOP NOTCH PROS!- Lori G.

AWe had a great experience working with Adie and his subcontractors on our shower renovation. Our shower was leaking water and we received some estimates to repair the water damage, fix the plumbing, and retile the shower. We chose East Bay and were very happy with the service. Adie was reliable and texted me every day to let me know when he was arriving, and gave a good summary of the work that was going to be done each day. Adie & subs wore masks for COVID at all times and were respectful of our space. Adie had some nice ideas such as adding some marble slab to the shower entryway and using concrete board in our crawl space. These were both suggested after giving us the quote, so he did not charge extra for either, or for fixing some leaky PVC that I wasn't aware of when requesting the quote... Adie just seemed like he wanted to genuinely do a good job. He is also a pleasant & honest person to work with. Definitely give East Bay a try.

AI had considered trying to do this job myself (well having my step-father do it), but after seeing a video review of the strength of the various "DIY" polls vs. the Protect-A-Child fence I decided to try and find a vendor to install it. I came across Susan and Jeff and am so happy that I did. They were really easy to communicate with, and offered some great suggestions that ended up changing the way we wanted to have the fence configured. Jeff came and had it installed in a half day, connecting up against an existing fence. Really happy we went with this company, any extra money over what a DIY version would have cost was certainly saved in stress and time.
