Absolutely flawless. Great job! Very nice guy. Quality job for a fair price and done right the first time. He did not show up to do one thing then try and sell me on something expensive or ridiculous. I highly recommend Sammy and will utilize him exclusively going forward.

It went well.  The initial inspection was quick - a quick glance and he determined the problem.  He returned at a later date to insert the new liner, and remove the debris from the old clay liner.  Very satisfied.

Our initial visit went very well.  They were able to assess the issue at first glance.  They provided us with a detailed guide of the re-lining process, and a cost intimate.  When they came back to do the work, it went quickly.  We will definitely call them back if we have any other issues with this chimney (Which I hope we do not since they inspected it.)

It went fantastic! It was a pleasure doing business with Louie and his roofing company.
Louie and his roofing team were professional, organized, clean, and responsive. They have a systematic approach to replacing roofs. To watch them replace a roof is like watching a symphony at work, only with out the music.
Louis gave me peace of mind and that was huge. Louis would say "don't worry about nothing we will take care of it".
They have great value pricing. I no longer have to worry about finding a roofer. He will be my roofer moving forward.
If you need a Roof, please call them! You are crazy of you don't call M&J Roofing for at least an estimate!

Paul was very honest and forthcoming. He also explained the different repairs needed for each part of the chimney. He supplied me with reasons why a different kind of repair was needed for each flue. He explained why he could not do the job and declined any money for his inspection and opinion. He even gave me important questions to ask a contractor I might hire in the future. I feel he is certainly honest and a homeowner could trust his suggestions for any chimney repairs

It turned out that our smoke box was gone, and they said that I could apply the Deal credit towards the installation of a new unit.  I’m grateful for their diagnosis, but I’ll likely go with installing a wood stove with someone else because they didn’t carry the brand and style that I wanted.  They were on time, cordial, and overall professional.  I would recommend them.

The chimney cleaners came on time, introduced themselves and proceeded with the chimney cleaning. After a few minutes, I was asked some information about the last chimney sweep. I told him that I was a new home owner and it was recommended that a chimney cleaning and inspection be done soon. The guy then showed me some residue and build up from the chimney. He alerted that the chimney liner was old and deteriorating and needed to be replaced soon. He also mentioned that there had been some water build up inside the chimney. After they cleaned out the chimney with the vacuum, we discussed how much it would cost to replace the chimney liner. He said it would cost around $1500 and I would have to call their office to discuss the details and make the necessary arrangements. I told him I would think about it first and decide later. So when the guys started packing up their equipment, I got a phone call from a guy in their sales office. He started asking about how the service went and I said "Good so far. The guys are still here though." He seemed a little surprised and said he'd call back later after they left. So after they left, sure enough he called back. He proceeded with asking me how the service went. I told him I was satisfied with the service. However, they guys recommended I get a new chimney liner installed. He asked what did they quote me and I said $1500. Then he went into his sales pitch mode and said he could do it that day for $1200. I told him I needed it in writing first and that I needed some time to think about it. He then said he wanted to get it done, while his cleaners were still in the area. I told him I still needed a contract in writing first, before I could make a decision. Then he said that I didn't have to pay that day and we could work something out later. At this point I felt like I was being rushed and bullied into something I didn't want to do. He then told me that the cleaners would be back that day with the contract. Sure enough, the cleaners came back within 20 minutes. The guy knocked on the door and told me that they were there to "install" the chimney liner. I told him that that was a mistake. I just requested a contract in writing and that's it! He paused for a moment and said "Sure. No problem." He went back to his truck. I then got a call from the sales guy saying that "I" must have misunderstood what he said earlier. I said "No. I just wanted a contract with the details for the chimney liner.

Very professional.  Appointment was verified the night before.  Paul was running early so he called rather than just show up a bit early.  Work was done quickly and cleanly.  Explained everything.

During the blizzard, our pilot light in our gas insert went out.  I had read somewhere that the glass had to be taken off in order to relight it.  Since I didn't know how to do this, I called Total Chimney.  I also had a couple of other questions and also needed the bottom of the unit that housed the wiring cleaned.

I called Total Chimney and left a message.  Within a short time, my phone call was returned and an appointment was set.  Ed A and Rob were our service technicians.  They not only fixed our problem with the pilot light and cleaned the unit, but they also explained everything they were doing and told us how to fix the pilot light in the future.  During all this, they were extremely neat and clean and very professional, putting down a tarp to protect our carpet and cleaning up after the work was completed.

Even though our unit wasn't purchased at Total Chimney, their service fee was very reasonable.  While Ed and Rob were efficient and professional, they were also very personable and able and willing to answer all our questions and concerns.

I believe that the service a company provides is the most important when purchasing an item, and, with that said, I would recommend that if anyone is in the market for a gas insert, please consider Total Chimney.

Again, thanks Ed A and Rob.  You both made our day.

They showed up within the time frame and performed the jobs very quickly. They put cloths down so as not to make a mess and cleaned up everything after themselves. They saw that we don't have a cap on our furnace chimney, but didn't push the product on us. Just told us the cost and how easy it would be to install it. Will definitely use them again.
