Excellent and honest service. Took my vehicle in the day after Christmas for a leaking transfer case. They were able to remove, fix and reinstall in less than two days in time for weekend travel. The dealer was trying to schedule me a week out just for diagnostics. Customer service was great, I asked them to check for other service needed while they were working on the vehicle and they were straight that minimal additional items were needed due to mileage and inspection. Only charged me for brake parts, not labor, since the front end was already apart for transfer case repair! Very happy with the experience!

Next month, I'm going to have an oil change again and probably the antifreeze changed to get ready for winter. It's a good car. I don't drive that much. The car only got 70,000 miles on it. The car is in good mechanical condition. It's free lifetime oil change there. When I bought the car, that's what they do and Toyota still does that. Otherwise it would cost $35 to have the oil changed. Sometimes they have a tendency when they change the oil, I have to remind them to only fill the oil up to the dip stick full line. Very frequently, they overfill it and I have to have them correct the situation. They put oil with an automatic thing and sometimes the stupid thing goes over. I have to watch that. I tell a lot of people that if they go out of a garage and think everything is run before it, it's not. We have to check it ourselves. I do my own air pressure on the car and make sure my air pressure is 35 pounds. I had garages put air pressure in it and it went from 28 pounds to 38 pounds all over the back and I don't like that. I had to double check what they did to my car to make sure I'm satisfied. Dealerships are sometimes a little bit high but I prefer to have my car 100% Toyota so I'm willing to pay for it. I had to go back and say they missed something or they left something loose, I keep track of it. There are mechanics who don't take the time to give me the class A workmanship that they should so we should keep an eye on them. I have monitored the things that were done to the car. I don't take their word for it. I had a problem with a gasket leak on the car 3 years ago and the guy that changed the gasket on the oil pan down there cracked the exhaust pipe. I brought the car back and they changed it for nothing. They generally do a good job, but I watch it. They are good now with their responsiveness because they know me. I am a friend of the general manager there. He takes care of me. When I go there, the service advisers there all know me so they get the job done right. They are very good. When I call and I need an appointment, they give it to me right away. They are good people. I usually make the appointment for early in the morning so I'm one of the first ones that they get. I'm out of there within an hour. They are very courteous. When you buy a Japanese or Korean car, you always get a call from the general headquarters and they actually ask how was it and if they treated me right. They want to know. This is the second Toyota I bought. I bought one in the '80s and then I traded it for this one. I had 150,000 miles on the '86 so as long as this car is running like it's running which is like new, I'll keep it. No problem with it. It's very powerful and it takes me where I want to go, and it's dependable.

When I arrived in the service department they didn't have the part for the recall. They were very unorganized and provided poor customer service. I ended up calling the President of Hyundai trying to resolve the issue of getting the recall fixed and to talk to them about the poor customer service. They are still trying to resolve this issue a few weeks later.

Both my wife and I use them consistently. I had the car washed a few days ago. At that particular instance, there was no charge. I had the oil change about two or three weeks ago and the car wash was part of the oil change. Their system was down on that particular day. They hadn't had the wash done and they gave me the rain check. I went back a couple of days to get the car wash. I would use them again in the future.

The oil change did not take long for them to do. The oil change did not take long for them to do. They then went over recommendations for other work that might be needed to be done on the car. The exterior wash came out nice. When I found a problem with the vacuuming and interior window cleaning, it was promptly and professionally handled to my satisfaction. This impressed me. The first worker who was supposed to do the vacuuming and window cleaning barely did an effective job. There was still a lot noticeable that had not been vacuumed, and there were dirty spots on the windows that had been ignored. I brought it all to the attention of one of the workers and he personally did the vacuuming and window cleaning, and also informed his supervisor, who had come over to my car to see what the problem was. That impressed me, also, to see that a supervisor was interested to know about the situation so he could look into it and to do something about it. My time there took a few minutes longer than I had expected, but I told the worker that he handled the problem very professionally and courteously, and I said, "I will be back." Overall, the times that I have been there, Splash workers show a positive effort to try to earn your business. It seems to me that the management at Splash make sure to let their employees know the value of a returning customer, as compared with some other places where the workers don't seem to have much of a clue about what a customer is.

The section seems to be redundant, so I copied and pasted the above.
My Wife's car was totaled and we needed a replacement. She really
wanted a Subaru Outback. Our funds were limited and any vehicle which
seemed to be a good candidate was beyond our budget. I checked Graig's
List, but didn't feel comfortable buying from strangers. I then
figured, "What the heck, let me check Perkins Subaru" I met the
salesman - Tom Montanaro and gave him my somewhat unreasonable
requirements. He treated me with respect and said that he doubted they
had anything like that but would check. It turned out that an employee
had been issued the exact car I was looking for and they made it
available to me for my budget price. This was on Friday 11/2 and we
picked up the car on Monday - 11/5. the car had been detailed and had
its oil changed and completely serviced.
This was the second car I
purchased from the Dan Perkins Group. The first experience was just as
pleasant, but I figured that I had just bumped into a unique salesman.
Now with my second experience I realize this is simply the business
culture of the way Mr. Perkins does business.
If you are in the market for a car, by all means give strong consideration to the Perkins Group.

This is an EXCELLENT service station. Please give them a try.
(Alot of people at the West Haven VA Medical Center also take
their cars to Marshalls Garage.) I've never heard a and quot;badand quot; review
    from anyone.
And LADIES...I MUST say that Marshalls Garage was very fair.
They didn't try to and quot;sell me stuff I didn't needand quot; or tell me
I needed a and quot;special partand quot;. I have OVER 104,000 miles on my car
and now it really runs great!!

We have a Chrysler Town and Country Van. We lost the breaks and had
the car towed to Marshall's Garage on a Friday morning. It turned out
that a break line had ruptured and had to be replaced. This required
the removal of the fuel tank - which had just been filled. Marshall
explained to me - in detail - what the possible problems would be
regarding making the required disconnections of various fittings. If he
had to and quot;Break the Connectionsand quot; we would have the expense of replacing
various components. His estimate was that in a worst case scenario the
costs could run as high as $800. I told him to do his best but take
what ever time he needed to and quot;easeand quot; the fittings out and let them soak
    with penetrating fluids.
He did the repair, he was able to save the components he was worried
about. When I picked up the car the bill was about 1/2 the worst case
scenario, and the fuel tank was full as when he got it. At $3.75 to
$4.00/gal I appreciate the integrity of putting all the fuel back in.

I am very satisfied with them. I've been using them for six years. I am very, very happy with their service. They are two brothers and they do fabulous work. Ron is the person I talk to and he asks me questions just in case I am not sure what I want. That is what I like about these two. They take good care of my wife when she goes in. It is the best experience I've had with a garage or a mechanic. Their pricing is very good. Sometimes I have to call them because they are busy and they don't call. They could use a secretary but they won't spend the money. They at least need a receptionist to answer the phone. I will continue to use them and we recommend them to our friends.

I have gone to him for years. I like it because I know he does a good job but I also know that if something goes wrong after they have fixed it they have no qualms about bringing the car back in and fixing it again and they don't charge you. At least they have never charged me. If there are any issues with anything they take it right in and take care of it. They are reliable and responsible. Some people tell me his price is a little high but I don't mind paying him because I know I am getting my monies worth and I can trust all of them with my vehicle. You get what you pay for. He put a new engine in my daughter's car. He let us know how long it would be and he let us know of any issues. She had trouble with the new engine. He called the people who sold him the engine and had them replace it for free. He is very good. My husband knew him for years. The family has had the garage there for years. The father of the current owner ran it and now the son runs it.
