How to Make Kitchen Appliances Last Longer

    A Action Appliance
Great. Brian came out the day before we left for Yosemite. The fan on the condenser was shot. It would have to be ordered. Was afraid the condenser would fail without a fan while we were gone. Brian suggested buying a small fan and cooling it that way. It worked. The new fan cooled it until Brian came back to fix it. Done in one half hour.

    Action Appliance Repair
Overall a good company with good service. They showed up within the agreed upon window. I have dealt with many appliance repairs over the years and they are all very expensive. Action is no exception to this rule. When considering an appliance repair research what it would cost to buy it new in order to determine if repairing it is really worth while. Any repairs seems to always run $250.00-$300.00 at a minimum. That is a given in this day and age. Action charged me $300.00 to fix the thermostat in my oven. This oven new would be about $800.00. If I should ever need another repair the cost to repair will match or exceed the cost to purchase one new. So you really need to look at the numbers. It seems if the appliance is not real high end it is almost better just to order something new. It took over a week for the part to come in for my oven. So not only was it $300.00 but I had to wait a week to boot. I could have had a new oven delivered with in 2-3 days. Anyway I would use Action again but in the future I am just going to lean toward replacing the appliance instead of the repair. Good Luck.

    General Appliance Service Inc
I would never call this place or recommend to anyone. Replaced electronics to fix my dishwasher and was assured by technician that everything else was working great (since cost was border line on getting a new one.) Less than a month later, electronics flashing and technician couldn't replicate issue but again assured me all was good and electronics reset was all it needed. Maybe since he was almost two hours late on four hour window, he missed the fact you had to press the start button to replicate the issue because I found shortly thereafter it still was not working with same electronics flashing issue. Fourth visit now and he finally "found" that the pump isn't working (although was working fine all three prior visits) which would cost me another few hundred to repair. Third office person I spoke to tried to explain why I hadn't been charged enough to date for all these visits so they weren't going to do anything besides sell more parts and services to fix it. But the owner would call me to discuss. That was days ago and I haven't heard anything from the owner.

EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL TIMELY SERVICE - Our cloths dryer broke and he was the first to response with a rough estimate and came the next day. In home service performed -explained what he was doing, possible reasons and solutions to avoid problem in the future. Can't see why anyone would go elsewhere. Joe C.

    Paul Ford Appliance Service
Marty, who works for Paul did an EXCELLENT job.  Arrived on time, was friendly, professional and had the parts already for the repair so that I didn't have to wait to have the repair done.  I was kind of embarrassed that the inside of the dryer was so dusty, but he went right to work with a smile.  Honestly, one does not find that quality of customer service much these days, and at a price that I could afford. I plan on telling EVERYONE what a great repair service this is . And they will be the first ones I contact if another appliance stops working!!  Only wish I could go higher than an " A"  I would give them overall an A+++++++++++++.

    Paul Ford Appliance Service
The man who came to the house was friendly, professional and knew what he was doing.  I had another repairman attempt to fix the problem some months previous, and his solution worked for a short time.  This time, the inside tub of the diswasher was dismantled and the problem was really fixed.  I joined Angie's List for this problem and I couldn't be more pleased.

Reliable Appliance & Dryer Venting Service
Bob was excellent! I smelled burning after running my dryer so I called him and he was available the next day and gave me a two hour window when he would arrive. He called to confirm he was coming and called when he was a half an hour away. He was very knowledgeable about washers/dryers and gave me safety tips as he did the work. He was able to quickly figure out the burning issue and also replaced some of the venting in the attic that was too clogged to be cleaned. He gave me a detailed invoice with everything he did. He even tested the washer and dryer to make sure that there were no further issues. He was very nice and I'm very happy with his service. I would recommend him to everyone I know!

    Paul Ford Appliance Service
Called Paul for some advice on a dish washer I was having trouble with. By talking with him for 5 minutes he set me on the right and correct  path  to get the dishes done, and done right. A honest guy whose not going to soak you dry.  I'll think of Paul again when I need his type of help.

    Paul Ford Appliance Service
He was polite and on time. He explained everything he did. He made sure I understood what the problem was and how he could fix it. He told me there were 3 possible scenarios that might be causing the problem. he eliminated each one until he came to the magnets. he had the parts in his truck and replaced them quickly. He cleaned up and asked if he could be of any further help. He was a joy to have in my house.

    Paul Ford Appliance Service
It was an unexpected pleasure in this impersonal day and age to find a professional willing to help a potential customer, even at the cost of forfeiting a profitable sevice call.  I will call Paul for all my appliance repairs in the future and recommend him highly
