    WILLOW HOUSE DAY CARE CTR
My daughter has been a student at Willow House in the preschool program for over a year and I couldn't be more pleased. Many of the teachers have been with Willow House for over 15 years and they take the time to get to know and work with the students on a highly individualized level. My daughter has a food allergy and Willow House has been very accommodating and makes me feel safe leaving her there. I have watched her grow both intellectually and socially and she is always excited to go to school and play with her friends. I really like how the learning environment is ever-changing with new stations and engaging activities. Parents are encouraged to participate in events almost weekly and a real community is built around involving the families. We looked around at many facilities in the area but as soon as we visited and met with the staff at Willow House, I knew that this was the place.

    Carta, Dr. Tris J.
Dr. Carta and his staff were very prompt and professional. Because of scheduling, I had a first visit for the cleaning and then another visit for the exam. Dr. Carta made a special point to come in and introduce himself and briefly chat during my cleaning, which I appreciated and made me feel like a valued new patient. During the exam he and his assistant took their time with me and I felt very well attended to and my concerns well addressed. He did not recommend any further services on his part, but referred me to a convenient specialist that he thought I should see.

    Jesse Eisler MD,PHD
Dr. Eisler, his Physician's Assistant Jon Szydlo, and I believe it was their assistant Lisa (sorry - no last name), were all extremely excellent. They carefully examined the x-rays I supplied (coming from one of the chiropractors I'd already consulted) and told me in no uncertain terms that my back was in very good shape for someone my age (early 60's). Dr. Eisler in fact said he could not discern from the x-rays whether they showed the back of a 35 year-old or someone in their 60's. They told me that they could not actually directly help me, which in fact gave me a great sense of their integrity and the honesty of their response. We then had a very detailed discussion about exactly what and how I did my various exercises and stretches (averaging probably 45 minutes a day). They listened very solicitously and we spent what I felt was a reasonable time, without a sense that the three of them needed to rush off to see people with "real" problems.
They in no way doubted my symptoms, nor questioned my issues, but they told me to just keep doing what I was doing since my symptoms were in fact largely controlled by my regular exercising (they were in fact quite admiring of the regimen I'd developed on my own over the years). What they did do was recommend some slight changes in weights, exercise repetitions, and motions to my regimen. In addition, per my speculation that my problems perhaps stemmed from my muscles over-tightening, Mr. Szydlo wrote me a prescription for a mild muscle relaxant (the pills not helping, but it showed he was listening and we did eliminate that particular guess of mine as to the source of the problem). Long story short, I tried some of their adaptations which in fact have been most helpful in addressing exactly my neck problem and even made my exercise regimen a bit less taxing. For me, I had someone carefully listening and clearly providing me exactly the service I asked for and needed at what I considered a quite reasonable price (three expert medical professionals for 20 minutes at something over $100). Even though all I saw them for was a consultation, per the other recommendations I've seen for Dr. Eisler and his office, I really cannot recommend them too highly.

    Dr. Lisa Talati
They're usually pretty good on availability. There are some people that work for her that don't have any personality whatsoever. She is personable. You can talk to her. Usually, the wait is about 10 minutes.

    Dr. Clifford Rios
It failed miserably. The office environment was good. Personally, he is a nice guy. He didn't tell me a lot of things I found out afterwards. They billed me. They should have given my money back. I guess, they're just doing their job. I had six months of suffering, needlessly, for an operation that I was told afterwards that it would have never worked.

    Thiele Chiropractic Life Center
Almost unasked for and in such distinction to so many other medical offices that seem almost reluctant to share your own medical records with you, Dr. Thiele's office provided me a CD-ROM containing my spinal and neck X-Ray images (great little piece of software on the disk for zooming in and carefully looking over my own spinal issues!). In addition, their Angie's List special made the whole consultation extremely affordable. My treatment is still on-going so I cannot really comment on it as of yet, especially as I had no specific pain or medical issues needing to be immediately addressed ? my concern being a consultation on where he saw my back and neck issues going and what he might recommend in terms of long term care. I feel very much I got and am getting what I was looking for. I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever and do very heartily recommend him and his office.

It's going better than I EVER thought possible!  Honestly, I didn't think that counseling would help...and I've been pleasantly surprised!! Carmel is a pitbull when it comes to getting down to the important issues, and a gentle lamb when showing compassion. Did I mention that she's a counseling genius?? She is amazingly intuitive and perceptive. Please don't give up on your marriage...there is help right here!

Went in for a tour of the facility as I was trying to find a daycare for my 2 year old. Let's just say I didn't even want to stay for the tour right after I opened the front door. I've been to LOTS of daycares trying to find the right one plus my daughter has been in two daycares already. When I walked up to the facility I tried the front door like I always do to see if it's locked, well it wasn't. I asked if the door was ever locked and the director said no. The only thing in front of the door when you walk into the facility is a little chintzy half door that's not even really latched and you can't even really call it a half door because it's basically just a piece of plywood that's probably 2 feet high with a little eye hook keeping it closed. The "half door" is probably 5 feet from the front door which can just be kinda pushed open and the daycare building is probably like 20 feet from a very busy road, route 83 right near the 84 overpass. Imagine one child of like 3 or 4 years old, getting through the front door and into the road or worse up the street to 84. The facility itself just seemed dirty not normal daycare dirty either, there was an awful smell I can't even describe it was like dogs and cats and kids and dirt and cleaner on top of it all mixed together it was just awful. So I went to the toddler room because that's what my daughter would be and normal day cares that I toured or that my daughter has attended there of been toys, sensory tables, or things to keep the children occupied during there day, here there was like minimal, minimal toys almost none and one play kitchen thing that looks like it belonged in the 60s. The outside play area was old and the toys were dirty, and dirtier more then because it was outside, the toddles and babies were mixed in the same area not a big deal breaker overall but the babies/infants wee just strapped in the strollers in the sun, while the "teachers" were standing around talking and not paying attention to what was going on between the children. While I was outside, there were three toddlers on a seesaw toy and one slapped another right in the face and not one of the teachers saw it, or even reacted to it until the girl that was slapped started crying. The teachers had no idea what happened because they weren't paying attention, I had to tell them what went on between the two girls. I was done with my tour at this point and the director was trying to get me to commit to bringing my child there. She had the "hook line" ready of " I have another tour for the last spot tomorrow but I'll give you first dibs if you want it, I'll tell the other parent I'm waiting on you" I'm like really I work sales I know lines when I hear them. I basically ran out with my daughter because that is somewhere I would never want to bring her or would I feel safe leaving her there for the day or even 10 minutes alone.

    Wichman, Dr. Kenneth
Dr. Kenneth Wichman was available to come to my home the next day after I called. He was on time, very efficiant, friendly, and did a great job. He has been out twice to my home, and both times we were happy with the results. I would recommend Dr. Wichman.

    ProHealth Physicians
They are very good. I have been going to them for over 20 years. I have an appointment with them next month. The doctor is very thorough, and I am able to get appointments when it is convenient. They keep me informed if they send me for any blood tests or any type of a test, they call and give me the results. They have a new thing where we can communicate on the computer for refills of subscriptions and things. They have been prompt. I go to Dr. Casarini, and if she is not there, the other doctors will respond, and if I call for a refill when she is not there, they will respond with the pharmacy. The staff is wonderful, and they bill the insurance company, and take care of all that. I have no complaints about them.
