    They had to order the part for the older washer, it turned out to take almost a week, but it wasn't their fault. The washer doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles on it and I wanted it to be done a certain way. These guys went above and beyond, it costs some money, but I'm thinking I have another 10 years of life out of this machine. I like them. They are responsive and they are good guys.

    The installation had a few issues, including a cooktop that didn't fit even though GE said it would, but a new one was ordered and everything was finally installed.
    HOWEVER, today I found a piece dangling from the bottom of the new refrigerator and called the store to talk with someone who could tell me if this is a problem or not. The salesman, Eric, who answered the phone informed me that this was not a warranty issue, notwithstanding the fact that he had no idea what this piece is. He went on to say that there were no service people who could talk to me, and that someone would have to come to the house---and we would be charged for this visit. He told me I should call GE directly myself and have someone there help me.
    I find it hard to believe that an installer couldn't spare two minutes to call me and tell me if this is a problem or not.
    I emailed the salesman who worked with us, but I've yet to hear from him. I'm hoping to get the owner's email address and send him a copy of my concerns.

    The original salesman called me and began the conversation by trying to explain the reaction from Eric. I cut him off, not interested in any conversation that would try to excuse bad behavior. He did have an answer to my question. It would have been so much easier and so much more pleasant an experience if that had happened when I called originally. I still would not recommend this store.

    We have a side by side Frigidaire Pro; model year 2009.
    Our refrigerator stopped working over the weekend (fridge cooling to 58; freezer cooling to 37)--we called Ray's Appliance and left a message on Sunday.  They called back when they were open on Monday to find out our schedule and then called back to let us know what time someone could come out, giving us a 2-hour window.  He arrived on time that same day, and spent about 10 minutes at our house--he let us know that it had stopped working because of all the ice build up on the back of the fridge and hypothesized that it was some aspect of the defroster.  We had to unplug the fridge for 12 hours to allow the ice to melt, turn it back on, so he set up a return time for Wednesday--giving us a 15 minute window for what time he would arrive.  We weren't charged for the service call on Monday.  He returned Wednesday (within the 15 minute window), ran diagnostic tests, confirmed that it was the defroster limiter, and replaced it.  Found him to be professional, prompt, and efficient.

    Ray returned our late-in-the-day call promptly and we agreed on an appointment time the next day. The following day Ray called an hour earlier than our appointment to see if he could come then, and came right over. He was very pleasant and courteous, came in and diagnosed the problem, replaced the pump from a supply in his truck, tested for leakage and returned the washer to its location ready for use. Very efficient and professional. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
