    It's a dependable car and I don't have any breakdowns I just go in for regular service. They are on time. The oil changes are usually a walk in and they do it right then. You never actually talk to the mechanic they just hand you the receipt and if you want to go into it further they call someone up to talk to you.

    They have an offer for an change of oil and rotate tires. I number my tires when I took them in. They were in the same orde after the oil change. They didn't do it. I had to take it back and make them do it, and then they did it. They didn't even know what order they were in. They could have rotated the tires.

    I only go to one place, the Honda dealership. It wasn't cheap. It's a dealership and they're a little bit higher. The workers were fine. It was in and out in one day but I don't know how long the actual work took them. To do all that, it was probably 4 or 5 hours.

    I've been with this mechanic for about 6 years now and they're very honest and very reliable. They'll give me a ride home or pick me up if I asked. They'd never charge for unnecessary services and it's a great family business. The owner is a very nice and honest guy. He's always pleasant to deal with .

    My experience with this company was very good. 
    From pickup in California to delivery in Connecticut, the drivers kept in touch - emails then calls then texts- to let me know the exact delivery.

     They picked up my car within two days after I accepted the quote. And they delivered it almost on time. (One day delay due to weather issues) Highly recommended.

    They are extremely helpful and honest. A couple of times I took my car into them, thinking that I needed work done, and they actually told me that I did not need any work at that time. Very refreshing and helpful.

    DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. I bought a 2013 Ford Escape from this dealership - a 1 year old car. I thought there would be no problems seeing as the person who sold me the car was a family friend who I trusted and I believed I wouldn't be ripped off. Not so much...I had problems after 5 minutes of pulling away from the lot. I brought the car back to fix a sensor issue. The problem wasn't fixed and I had to bring the car for service again and they sent the car to Steven's Ford...well over a week later and the car still wasn't fixed, Steven's "lost" my car on their lot for 3 days and after I complained Steven's Ford and Mazda of Milford played the blame game and I still had no car. FINALLY after 11 days I'm getting my car back and was told by the family friend/salesperson that there is also a recall on my car...a "fire thing" WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!? RUN THE OTHER WAY.

    They do a great job. We had a little issue one time with their work. They immediately took the car back, fixed the issue and called me for my feedback. They were extremely responsive and thanked me for informing them of the issue. When you are a customer of their's they always fit you in. I have stopped in before because my car was making a noise or had a low tire and they will come out right away to look at my vehicle. They are an honest company, I trust them and have been very impressed with their services. The owner is very nice and involved in the community. If you purchase tires from them and get the coverage, if anything happens to the tires you know you are covered! I find their tires to be a really good deal!

    My wife and I were very nervous about finding a new mechanic when we moved to Hamden, CT.  A big positive when we first started using this Midas location was that they included tire rotation with an oil change.  Many of the other local auto repair shops charge extra for this.  I work around the corner, so it has always been very convenient to drop the car off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. 
    A few experiences that stand out:
    In 2011 our Hyundai Santa Fe went in for an oil change and I recieved a phone call about an hour after dropping it off.  A strut needed to be repaired, but Mark (the mechanic that we worked with) told us he would rather us bring it to Hyundai to have it  fixed under a warranty claim. This is what made us committed customers.  I appreciated that they were looking out for our best interest.
    A similar situation occured in 2012.  on the way back from vacation, my parents had to make an emergency stop and literally rolled into the Midas parking lot in the middle of the night.  The next morning the staff immediately got to work on the truck.  We ended up working with Mark again and he did a lot of leg work with GM after noticing that there was a lot of problems with the truck.  Turned out it was a lemon and Mark went above and beyond to take care of my parents. 
    We have now moved to Trumbull, but still take our cars to this location because of the service we have recieved.
    Overall, just great customer service.  Nice to have a mechanic you trust.
