It went much better than I had expected! Jim was able to get my piano closer to pitch than I thought possible given the condition it was in. It will need some time to adjust and I'll need to play it for a few months and then we'll ask Jim to return to nudge it further. He was professional and patient and helped me get past my embarrassment/regret for not taking good care of my old piano.

The whole job went extremely well. Hank was exceptional. Very professional, responsive and talented. If you need your furniture restored or refinished, I would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

I have used Hedberg Moving Solutions twice in last couple years: last year they helped me moved from a single family house to a high-raise building; this year they helped me moved from Minnesota to Connecticut. I used their storage facility, piano moving service, vehicle moving service and regular moving services.

They had showed high-standard professionalism in both moving. When a large sofa can't be moved into the house through front entrance, they managed to get it in through a door on attic, which is about 15 to 20 feet above the ground.  They made second trip to a different location without additional charge since the piano can't be moved into the first location.

The moving crews are very professional and friendly. The owner Branden Hedberg is always willing to help and make the commitment.

I highly recommend Hedberg Moving Solutions.

It went wonderful! They were on time and we had really good interpretation of what the design was going to be. They had a complete understand of the overall job. I have used them for years. If I call, they respond immediately. I highly recommend them.

I've owned an antique baby grand piano (built in 1907) since I was a child and have moved it to 3 states and 7 houses. Over the years, various movers have damaged it and the many tuners had no real idea how to handle it.  I found Yuri at Amadeus Piano when our local newspaper did a story on him saying they specialized in antique pianos. Yuri came out the day after I called and was able to diagnose the problems, propose a solution that involved removing the keyboard to restore it, and 3 weeks later, he and his two assistants spent 3 hours at my house making the inside (and outside) of my piano look brand new. The sound is now better than it's been for many years. Amadeus has also ordered a new set of bass strings since mine were stretched too far and snapped easily ($600.00).  The price quoted to restore the keyboard was just over $1700.00 but at the last minute, Yuri noticed that my pedals were looking really ragged. He removed them and brought them back looking brand new. - no extra charge.  As I wrote before, when the keyboard was brought back and the piano was being tuned, the bass strings were terribly strained and two snapped. I haven't paid him yet because he won't take my money until the strings are restored, the piano is tuned it again (no charge) and I'm "satisfied".  Finding Amadeus was the happiest day of my old piano's life.
Yuri, the owner, is kind, considerate, personable, knowledgeable, efficient and honest. His assistants are diligent, sincere, hard-working, and so proud of the way the piano looks when they're done. They suggested I take photos before and after because, they assured me, I wasn't going to believe the transformation! They were right!
And yes, $2600.00 is a lot of money but the piano has been tuned many times over the past 100 years (recently at about $100+ each time). It's old and tired and has never had major work. The tunings were a stop-gap measure. I feel that for the first time, it's being treated to a full makeover and it's so much more fun to play, more enjoyable to listen to  - and wonderful to look at for the first time in years!
So DO call Yuri and DON'T wait one more day!

I only use them now for the things that do not need an extended warranty. They don't care about you once the sale is complete. The salesmen just tell you where things are instead of helping you find it. Steve, the audio guy, is the only one there that shows an ounce of caring. Overall, they don't seem to have a high level of customer service.

Some of the techs that came in were chauvinistic to deal with and were unpleasant and rude. They did the work, but they didn't work efficiently and timely. They came out and, like always, had to order a part and come back.

Paul tuned my 27 year old Kawai piano which had not been tuned in 17 years.  All keys had gone flat but everything is back where it should.  Paul warned that because it had been so long between tunings that it should be checked again in 6 weeks.  Paul was very courteous.

They're punctual, fair, competent, and professional. When my microwave broke, they came out to help me and said they'd need to order a part. However, a few days later they called me to let me know they were just going to pay for me to get a new one.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prompt and efficient. I only gave them a 'good' on price because it was expensive, but it was excellent quality and good value for money.  Our upright is a new piano, and we are thrilled with it. Highly recommended.
