    Ronn was amazing. My mom, who is 94, really relies on her computer to say in contact with the outside world. She had keyboard issues, printer problems, etc. Ronn arrived right on time. He diagnosed the problems, ran out and got the keyboard and printer she needed, came back and set them up. He was patient and thorough. We really liked him and would def use him again.

    My 2 year old poured water on my 6 year old lap top and that was its last straw.  Ronn came and got the computer from my house and determined that it would be able to be repaired and quoted me on the cost.  However, he then recommended that with the cost of the repair  (about $250) and the age of my laptop that it might be in my best interest to just buy a new computer.  That is the route I ended up taking.  I think it is admirable of a business to make a recommendation that is best for the consumer even if it is not in the business's best interest.  He could have earned money by making the repair but chose to help guide me to the decision that was better for me even though it was at his expense.  I will certainly use PC Home Solutions again and recommend them to others.

Picked up the unit the next day. Contacted me with updates throughout the repair process. He had the device ready for me in less than 48 hours. I have worked in customer service for 30 years, and I can say with complete honesty that Peter's service is gold standard.

    As luck would have it, days after buying a new laptop (but before we were able to back up the data on our old one), the old laptop fizzled out.  Wayne was able to help us recover essentially all of the data we had (including photos, documents, etc.).  He was extremely responsive (proactively reaching out with updates throughout the process), turned the work around more quickly than expected (I dropped the laptop off on Wednesday and the data was recovered by Thursday), and was very flexible in terms of drop-off/pick-up (even offering to meet us closer to our home).  Overall, a positive experience.

    My Remote Repair
    I had a virus that was starting to take over my computer.  I had a virus a few weeks ago that my name brand antivirus program
    took care of, but at double the cost Garry wanted.
    Garry's response at getting back to me to set up an appointment was exceptional. Within 24 hours of
    placing the order, he took over my computer,cleaned it up, and installed a malware program to help me track
    any future unwelcome programs.  Also,  it was so much easier to deal with someone that I could understand.
     I will definitely  recommend Garry to my family and friends, and will not hesitate to call him if I have any future problems.

    I hired Mike Vitorino of OGS Technology to build e a Data Base for my business, I sent him info on what I wanted, met at my office, went over every thing, he got me a price and contract, signed contract and sent a deposit and he took the job, the Contract stated "Approx. 14 day turn around" after not hearing from Mike I sent an Email on 11/4/13 and asked "how we making out?" got back fro  him "... out of pawer, will send you screen shots in a couple of minutes...all that is left is to add feature to generate invoice....I am thinking the final product will be done by Thursday (11/8/12) then we need 24 hours to test....". 11/11/12 I sent him another Email "just checking how we doing?" and got this back from him, "...it is on our list and will continue working on it 1st thing tomorrow morning" 11/20/12 I sent him, "how we making out?...", and got this back from him "I was going to up date you this morning. The database will be ready tomorrow night.....I apologize for  not updating you sooner, but we are almost at the finish line.", 12/3/12 I sent, "mike whats going on...please return my deposit",  12/17/12 i sent "I called and emailed and nothing from you....", I reported him to CT BBB and he did not answer that request to resolve this matter, 1/31/13 I filed in small Claims Court 

    6/17/13 after he did not respond to Small Claims I was granted the Judgement, then had it  served and my money taken out of his bank account, after I got my check I sent him an Email stating they took my money out of his account and he responded by saying "thats fine, that account has over a million dollars in it"...what a jerk, with any luck you will read this before you do any work with this company of Mike Vitorino.

    He is not a Mac person but he was reasonable and prompt. I feel that he was honest. He was not trying to go get me. He did not get all that he wanted out of that. He just backed up on the price a little bit. He was just a nice guy, a good guy. Seven years ago, he fixed a laptop for my wife.

    I went to pick the laptop up on 3/29, turned it on at the service counter, and found that the problems still existed. I asked for an explanation and the counter rep. called a technician forward to explain. The technician (who had apparently doen the "work") claimed that it took more than a week because I hadn't provided a power cord and they had to order one: I believed he was lying and asked him why he had to order a power cord for the very popular ThinkPad and he just blamed me for not providing one. I asked why he just didn't call me so I could get mine to PCW within an hour. (I thought I had taken the power cord home with me in my computer carrying case when I left the computer there on 3/22 ... see more below*). The technician told me he had called several times, but I was NEVER called by PCW for ANY reason, not even to tell me that the job was complete. I then pointed out my printed repair request to the technician, and he obviously had not even looked at it. He went on blaming me for all kinds of unrelated/invented things and did not address the delay, the failed repair or the total lack of professionalism. *More regarding my computer carrying case: It turns out that I had actually inadvertantly left my carrying case with my power supply in its outer pocket at PCW 3/22, so it was at PCW all the time. I realized 3/29 (after picking up my computer) that I didn't have the case and so didn't have a power supply to use with my minimally functioning and unrepaired computer, I was at wits end trying to find the bag and especially the power supply. After stressing for a week after I had picked up the computer, I finally called PCW in desparation (I believe on April 2) to see if I had left it there (expecting the answer to be "no") and they answered that they had it (at least they were honest about this ... but not smart or professional ... my business card was plainly visible in the case yet they either had never bothered to look inside the bag or, if they did look, they never botherd to contact me at the phone number or e-mail or physical addresses clearly on display on my business card showing throhg its visine window.). This was a miserable experience that set me back weeks, did not solve my problem and treated me like dirt. I recommedn that people stay away from PCW ... don't waste you time.

    They took it with them and brought it back 3 days later. It has been running perfectly since. They are really nice, always call back, confirm when they will be there and they are really quite good. The price was well worth it.
